Can't remember if you mentioned it but I've been carrying games with Storm and another thing to be on the lookout for are Magnetos. Magnus' bubbles can save those backline priority targets if they peel for them. Also I enjoy using my ult to pick off the supports but also the counter picks they have. So if they have a punisher I would probably go after him first then the supports or ideally all of them at the same time. It just gives you more safety when you come out of the ult to clean up anything left with her E.
I forgot to address her team up ability with Thor Charged Gail! Basically its a chain lightening that does 55dmg and chains up to 3 targets with a range of 60M. Use it when enemies clump for max value =)
Great guide! However, I play Storm a lot, and I don’t think Storm is an off-angle character. You should stay as close to the ground as possible, positioning behind your tanks with your team to maximize the massive damage boost, not just for yourself but for your entire team.
Also, Storm’s primary fire goes through enemies, which is why it’s so important to position behind your tanks and keep spamming both primary and secondary fire non-stop.
I definitely fluctuate between both playstyles and been using dmg mode from range a lot more lately if I'm safe. If the team pays a lot of attention to me I tend to stay in wind more for the mobility unless I'm expecting a dive then I stay in dog to try and pseudo counter with the thunderstorm 😊
interesting. from what I'm seeing, storm is kind of a long range slow attacker but the ult is usually the one that helps change gameplay. Playing storm seems to be for the ults.
For Goddess boots it helps to switch between the two after you activate for the initial aoe damage strike. That way I can get the speed boost then switch to lighting for the strike and your auto attacks.
If you only have seconds to get to the obj before time is out and you have your ult. Activating your wind boost a couple seconds switch to lightning boost then your ult. In pre ultimate form you can move over a hundred meters at high speed and are invurnable until you activate your ultimate. Giving you enough speed get to the point and stall with the ultimate.
Would you recommend playing her the same way in lower elo (e.g bronze)? I’ve found everyone rarely plays as a team and wonder how that affects the impact Storm has on games.
Yes and no, gotta just fend for yourself sometimes in bronze n silver cause its so chaotic. Just try and not need anything from ur team and use ur ult to set up momentum swings when support ults are down
The lightening storm or speed does not stack with your ult! Use it before since it has long CD so its back when you come out of your ult to get max value. Although you don't always have to use it first depending on situation
on 4:15 u say the lightning doesn't go throw if directly point at enemy. this is false. ur throwing ur lightning at the floor, thats why it doesn't connect. its the third person perspective that has u confused.

@AetySyx Best advice for bronze n silver is be self reliant and play ur role well. Try not to take crazy dmg n rely on heals / good tanking / good dps / know where the health packs are so you can sustain yourself =). Focus on ur own gameplay and you'll climb with any character. You will have teams all over the place ranging from good to bad
Man I’ve watched probably 3-4 Storm guides now and this one taught me the most.
Cause I've actually spent more than 30 minutes playing the character =D

26:28 you traded your ult for 2 support ults, I'd take it
Great video, thank you!
I’m finally playing this game this weekend and I’m gonna use her🔥🔥🔥🔥

@@Vunami nooo the long range dmg fall off is bad, she's more mid range for best value 👌
Nah she's an elite crowd controller to snowball a fight once you get a pick because of her lightning range
She damage boosts her entire team so if your hitting shots you can easily snowball the entire fight

I put up a 35 piece with her one match, then a 50 piece a few after in in silver 3. She’s my new main now. Never used her in season 0
@@ALM1GHTYGAWD sad day season 0

So can you enter overdrive and then ult in for a tornado/lightning storm combo?

Crosshair code please?
I just custom made it in the settings. Ill check what I have everything set to later.
Can’t climb with her if she’s banned every game
