    Today Luke is reviewing the Arc’teryx Conveyor Belt.
    ...
    Link : www.arcteryx.co...
    Price : $39.00
    I purchased mine from Sierra trading post for $15 if memory serves me right.
    Lots of different colors including black, coyote brown, grey, purple, pink and more.
    Belt lengths:
    Small = 43 inches/109 cm,
    Medium = 45.5 inches/116 cm, 3.4oz
    Large = 49.5 inches/126 cm.
    FULL FEATURE LIST
    Self locking, metal buckle with bird logo
    Contrasting stitching
    MATERIALS
    1.5 in (3.75 cm) nylon webbing
    The buckle is easy to use and strong, but light in construction using aluminum.
    thick textured nylon webbing and a smooth self locking buckle, similar to the one used in their climbing harnesses.
    The profile for this belt is thin but it’s not the thinnest on the market. When wearing a pack, and if your pants ride high, you will notice the bucket being pressed in by the waist belt of your pack.
    For myself, I wear pants that ride low on the waist so that the waist belts on my backs rides above the buckle.
    I have been wearing this belt for over a year now and I love it and it continues to look great. Would I buy it again? Absolutely!
    Pros : Incredible build quality. flexible material, good length, sturdy but not too stiff. Easy to thread though a belt loop with the knives that I carry. It’s a quiet belt. My previous leather belt made a squeaking noise with every step that I took.
    Cons : I do have to make adjustments ever so often.

    Ive been using it for over 3 years and it looks as good as new. Super comfortable and strong. My only problem is the fact that it is TOO flexible. I wear them with fitted jeans and Im really active. Over the course of the day the belt starts to fold under the back belt loop.
    So if you don't think this is a problem for you then get the belt. Its lasted me 3+ yrs with almost zero wear. Definitely worth the money.

    Second review on this belt that I’ve seen without a demonstration of how to cinch it up. It’s not your typical belt so it would’ve been nice to include that.

    Great belt Luke. The price isn't that bad at $35 to $40 for a quality belt. Nice review. Thanks for posting.

    I now own 2 of these and absolutely love them both. Silver and Gold. I wear a 32" waist, and I use the Small. Silver up the mountain, and gold once I reach the summit. ;)

    Currently using the Arcteryx h150 riggers belt. Love the belt but it was $120

    The camera did not film you putting the belt on again. So it didn't capture how it's easy to put on the belt and still have it loose.

    Wow, you know what, I've never seen a Belt without Buckle-Holes before.
    Sure I have various webbing straps with friction buckles on packs and such but...
    I have no less than seven 'useless' belts in my collection.
    Mostly leather, the stitching has come loose, the holes have torn, the holes have never matched my fit, and one belt barely fits me lol
    Beyond all doubt this belt looks like what I need, thanks Luke ! :D

    Is there a trick to tightening it? I’m finding it rather tedious to put it on.

    hey Luke. have you tried any "rigger" belts there are lots to choose from, very similar to this but they all have a built in D ring so you can "clip in" or even rapel if needed, they are not expencive and will get you out of trouble if you had to? i have one and you forget the D ring is even on it.

    The problem is that I cannot see how to adjust the tension. It is not explained at all.

    I use either Spec-ops brand Better BDU belt (uniform), a black BDU belt or a piece of 1" maroon climbing cord I made into a belt over a decade ago.

    Hi Luke. My nylon belt digs into my waist due to my backpack's waist belt pressing down. Any suggestions?

      +baseballman74 Hey pal, not sure what type of pants that you wear but I like those that ride a bit lower on my hips. That way the waist belt is above the belt to my pants. Try adjusting the torso length on the pack or your pants. Hope that helps buddy. - Luke

    How easily does it tighten when buckled? Can you just cinch it down while wearing it or do you need to undo it to tighten it?

    • @ducusoare
      @ducusoare 6 років тому

      I've had mine a few hours and, so far, I haven't figured out a method of tightening it without undoing it.

      Way too stiff. I also cannot tighten the belt without undoing it. I am hoping over time the belt will become less stiff.
