I have same situation but they tried to steal my 400 when the wheel was locked last weekend. Don't know how they managed to bend the bars though.
Bending the bar works with pass through handle bars to break the lock, but with clip ons it's going to bend or slip out of position. Idiots do damage without thinking. Hope the video is useful for you.
@JJCentral-DIY with your expertise with stuff what do you suggest. I don't want to take it for a 400$ job if I can do it myself. My throttle was slightly pulled along with the I believe are bent handlebars. So the throttle has major friction and won't snap back. Do you think there could be more damage or that might just be it. It's all I see. They just tried to pull the crap out of it. I really depend on this bike this bike to get to work and I don't know what to do? But they were never able to snap wheel loose just pulled it real hard I guess.
@@AngelGarcia-oc5rs I Believe you have the exact same situation as mine. My throttle was catching and everything was bent. Just replacing the handle freed up everything. Follow the video, you will be fine.
can you please share the link for the part, I am having a bit of sore wrist with my stock handlebar position
