4:49 - I would reimagine Dinoland at DAK to be South America. Much like Africa and Asia in DAK, there would be different architecture represented from around the continent. I would retheme Dinosaur into Indiana Jones (Tokyo Disneysea version) and would add an additional dark e-ticket attraction representing Emperor's New Groove. Preferably a family coaster around the same thrill level as Seven Dwarf's Mine Train.

4:49. If i could overhaul any part of the parks, it'd have to be the bus stops. It always feels like youre getting your steps in for the day just walking from the buses to the front gates, then at the end of the day when your feet hurt the most, the walk back to them can be a real test of endurance. I'd like to at least see some moving walkways

4:49. I would overhaul the Muppets section in Hollywood Studios at Disney World in Florida and make the section feel like you're in your own Muppet movie, a water dark ride, new shop, a new restaurant, a show outside and, put a meet-and-greet somewhere so guests can meet their favorite Muppet(s) 😊

4:49 I'd love to overhaul Tomorrowland in Disneyland!! It is just starting to feel outdated and should add some major rides on that side of the part. Not to mention, with the Tron Lightcycle coming to WDW, Disneyland's Tomorrowland will be lacking in comparison. I would remove the Star Wars Launch Bay and add Flight of Passage (the futuristic/scientific aspects could suit Tomorrowland well). This change would add another E-ticket attraction to this side of the park. Furthermore, Star Wars now has a large presence with Galaxy's Edge, so I think the Launch Bay would not be missed.

    • @sideeswipe
      @sideeswipe 4 роки тому

Jack Cohenour Films I think they’d want to keep the ride system of star tours and just retheme it and since they only choose iPs for rides the only realistic option is walle and then they could demolish the Star Wars launch bay building and the people mover tracks and give autopia electric cars and sy be close the subs and build the tron coaster and boom the areas fixed

Disney expects people to pay a full price admission for a park that in part significantly closed. Then add in Mission Space, which is constantly down. You missed the Spaceship Earlpcth which is in need of an updated audio system and planned new scenes.

4:49 for the Mickey. Without a doubt the section of any Disney Park I would overhaul would be DinoLand in Animal Kingdom. I've read the blog posts about what they were trying to achieve with the theming but it just doesn't work - even for those folks that have researched the backstory. We made a specific point to visit that section during our most recent Food & Wine Festival and it was a lost and confusing ghost town. Nobody was partaking in the "carnival-like" atmosphere. Do anything...just not what they're doing. FYI, because of the construction in Future World we have found that the best way to visit EPCOT is by going to Disney Hollywood Studios and taking the Skyway...

4:49 I would overhaul Star Wars Galaxys Edge to make it Imagineering's original vision of Tatooine and (probably) the Moon of Endor. You would fly the Millennium Falcon on a mission for Jaba and the other attraction would take place on the 2nd Death Star. I'm north of 45 and feel a bigger connection to Toy Story Land then what's there now.

DSNY Newscast growing up, Future World was always inspirational. It made you look forward to the future. Wall-E is too dystopian. Opposite effect. We can very easily follow down that path. florentin' p well, I mean, it has been said that Eve’s plant detected logo was inspired by The Land pavilion logo. If anything, they could replace the former Lion King movie with an updated Eve and Wall-E version. The original basically explained why it’s important to do our part to keep Mother Nature in balance, give a hoot, don’t pollute. Although, I guess without them being able to talk, the human characters might have to do it.

4:54 Hi Jack. Thanks for all this in depth info regarding Epcot. I believe that an attraction at Epcot featuring Wall-E is the most timely. Given the state of the world currently and the emphasis on global warming and health issues, the futuristic story of Wall-E is a brilliant cautionary tale and the beauty of it is it would fit in so perfectly with Spaceship Earth and the Guardians of the Galaxy coaster (not to Mention mission to Mars). Disney could create it's own universe at Epcot. Nestle it in or just beyond the new coaster. Epcot was Walt's vision of the future. Wall-E shows us how we need to protect that vision. A dark ride with entertaining information about plants and growth in a technologically advanced age and how the two can coexist successfully. Similar to Living With The Land. Merge these two concepts and free up the room in the Land pavilion or reimagine Living with the Land to include Wall-E

I’m glad to hear that they’re using the same water from The Fountain Of Nations. While 37 years have gone by, where it has evaporated and got rained on/refilled, a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of original water from around the world still remained. Forever unified, until demolition. ...or so I feared.

4:49. I would replace Chester and Hester's Carnival in Dinoland USA. To do that I'd dip into the new Fox IPs and feature the Ice age characters. You could have a Sid the Sloth meet and greet and a decent ride; either a roller coaster or a dark ride themed around an Ice Age Adventure. I know there's a story line around Chester and Hester within the land that involves the carnival rides but I think this would be an improvement. I don't even think it'd be a problem to leave the rest of Dinoland as is.

4:49 Mickey. If I could overhaul any section of any Disney park, I would pick Hollywood studios Hollywood boulevard and sunset Boulevard because one thing that Hollywood studios is missing is a trolley ride that takes guest around the park like California adventure. I think the trolley can start at Hollywood boulevard and travel down to the Chinese theater. Then the trolley travels back down Hollywood boulevard towards sunset boulevard. At sunset it will turn towards the Hollywood tower hotel. There is a street before the hollywood tower hotel where the trolley can stop and drop people off and can continue to the front of the park.

4:49 I would completely overhaul The Paradise Park Area to be an extension of Paradise Pier. By first replacing the Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure, into Remy's Ratatouille Adventure with the restaurant from Walt Disney Studios at Disneyland Paris and Epcot, and somehow put The Little Mermaid ride in Fantasyland at Disneyland, witch will have a new ride system instead of the Omnimover System.
Next, next the area where Goofy's Sky school and Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta will be rethemed to COCO with the Goofy's Sky School replaced with the brand new (S&S Axis Coaster) shown here ua-cam.com/video/ELpZC5qd34A/v-deo.html, (FULL ON RIDE CONCEPT) ua-cam.com/video/CtuwGEl28ZQ/v-deo.html, and also somehow relocate it in Mickey's Toontown. Then make the Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta as a Land of the Dead themed mexican restaurant with a Similar Feel to (Casa Bonita) in Denver Colorado. Then change the Golden Zephyr as Pepitas Flight of Guidance. Then, put in a Mack Super Splash that plummets into Pixar Bay to raise the dead of a scrapped concept of the original Paradise Pier. reviewtyme.com/history-of-paradise-pixar-pier-at-disneys-california-adventure-park/
Then Finally a Land themed to UP In the Area behind The Incredicoaster. with an Aerophile Tethered Balloon ride That's un exact replica on carl's house, www.aerophile.com/en/tethered-balloon, a Gerstlauer Sky Fly themed to the Dog's Red Biplanes, and a Spirit of Adventure themed Suspended Monorail like this one here. ua-cam.com/video/NHjpSKLQhQI/v-deo.html

4:49. I would overhaul the entrance area of Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris by demolishing the current entrance structure and replacing it with a massive fountain and gardens so that when guests enter this park they can see all the way through the long garden lined street with Elsa's Ice Palace at the end. Perhaps add some rock work to the sides to obscure the view into the park.

4:49 I would overhaul the Animation Studios/Pixar Place area of Disney's Hollywood Studios. The current Star Wars: Launch Bay attraction is decent but I would move the meet-and-greets over to the Star Tours area and then close Animation Courtyard to remake it into a Pixar Courtyard. I would make the building a queue area for a headliner attraction based on The Incredibles (maybe an indoor IncrediCoaster). After that, I would take the Disney Junior Dance Party and refurb it into the DCA Monster's Inc. attraction and The Little Mermaid theater would become an inside out show. Walt Disney Presents would become the Pixar Pals theater where you can meet all of your favorite Pixar Pals and then continue with the preview theater and history on Pixar show in the off-season. The former Pixar Place area would remain Municiberg and maybe have an Incredibles attraction in a "Phase 2". Toy Story Land would have a great connection into the Pixar Area

4:49, If I would make any improvements to a Disney park, I would demolish the former Feature Animation building and Star Wars: Launch Bay at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to make room for some sort of E-Ticket Alien dark ride, and replace Voyage of the Little Mermaid with a special effects show. I would also rename the Animation Courtyard area to Action Courtyard as it would now focus on behind-the-scenes movie magic similar to the original concept of the park. This is so that I can build new attractions that are aimed towards older park guests.

Have the people mover be a Star Wars pod racing dueling coaster that takes you to a Galaxys Edge station, Toonland should be Zootopia and Wreck It Ralph with two new shows, rides and resturants for meet n greets or Avatar which can be usefull with the way the entrance is made. :)

4:49 I would overhaul the Dinoland USA in Animal kingdom. That part of the park feels a little useless. Especially since they made primeval whirl a seasonal attraction. It’s feels out of place in animal kingdom. But how I would change it would be a total rechanging of the land. I would name it Treasure land. (Not 100% if that’s taken or not😂) First I would getting rid of the carnival games, and primeval whirl. I would build in the original place of primeval whirl an interactive building talking about the discoveries real people have made whether it be treasure or caves. Something sort of like what they are going to do with the Play pavilion in Epcot. I would also re-theme the dinosaur ride to the Indianan Jones tide like the one they have in Disneyland:)

Indiana Jones deserves its own themed land within DHS. Dinoland USA, does need some reimagining, BUT needs to stay themed to dinosaurs or other extinct animals. The park is all about animals past, present, and fantasy. Fantasy now being Pandora rather than Beastly Kingdom.

I am currently at Walt Disney World Jack! Their is a major big expansion going on from looking around Epcot and a need for new attractions, which I would suggest replacing the purple dinoso future ride with the doctor. I would also suggest replacing Monsters Ink Laugh show at Magic Kingdome and also creating a new tomorrow land cafe where the Caffe is currently closed at the entrance to TL. I am so much looking forward to the open of the new Star Wars Ride at Disney's Hollywood Studios

DJ afroASH Don’t mean to bust your bubble but actually it wasn’t made out of Kinex. It was made out of like a metal 3d model. In the imagineering story they showed how they had this and they wanted to make it feel like they were on a paraglider so thats how they designed it. They just supersized the metal model

4:49 I would love to see Disney renovate Hollywood Land at DCA. The whole area seems like an after thought. Maybe they can demo it and create a new land with 1 new E ticket ride centered around Frozen. I know there are rumors bring a frozen land into Disneyland but they should really put it in DCA because they have more room over in Hollywood Land for rides and meet and greets.

4:49 I would overhaul the Dinoland USA area of Animal Kingdom Park into an Indiana Jones Land/area! Complete with a Temple of Peril roller coaster like the one form DLP, and an Indiana Jones adventure ride that replaces Dinosaur, just like the one at Disneyland in California. Also have a snake temple habitat where you can see, and view some of the most venomous snakes in the world like the snake pit from The Lost Ark. But if that doesn't all work, get rid of the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular show and replace it with a Temple of Peril Coaster at Hollywood Studios.

4:49 Although there has been a lot of talk about Tomorrowland at Disneyland, it really needs some updating. Although I've heard this isn't going to happen due to the state of the concrete, I would love to see the People Mover return to Disneyland's Tomorrowland. It added kinetic energy to the entire area and a great way to see so much more of the park than the version at the Magic Kingdom provides. Next, I would demolish the former Carrousel of Progress building, and put either something entirely new, or a version of the Tron coaster there. The buildings themselves need to be harmonized with the new entry to Tomorrowland from the hub, removing the dark tones. (Actually, I really like Disneyland Paris' steam punk vibe in their Discoverland, but let's just be consistent throughout Tomorrowland.) Will the submarine survive? Hope so.

I’m confused why this entire video is speculation on how Disney is going to reinvent the wheel on renovation of a park with hard tasks when they literally did it 8 years ago at DCA. They had to move the entire entrance temporarily for that project, disrupting access to the entire park, and your talking about them not disrupting access to a small section of the park?

4:50 I would want Disney to overhaul Dinoland USA in Animal Kingdom. It is the least Disney feeling land of any of the Disney Parks I have been to. A generic rollercoaster, cheap feeling carnival games, cheesy 50’s decor. It feels more in line with a cheap traveling carnival, which was exactly what Walt was trying to get away from when originally building Disneyland. For the layout of the land I feel like it’s important to the ideology of the park to keep the section a dinosaur land. Now while there are a few Disney Dino movies, I don’t believe any have enough stand alone value for their own park section, or their own ride. Instead I feel like they should keep the bones of the land (the boneyard, the ride “Dinosaur”, the flame tree bbq), and get rid of the 1950’s Dino theme (the carnival games, and especially primeval whirl). In their place, a more traditional dinosaur land should be built. Retheme the triceratop spin to a more realistic pterodactyl spin, place an animatronic “tar pit” scene with visual humor along the lines of the jungle cruise, and continue the rock work theming from the boneyard throughout the whole land. Finally use the space left by primeval whirl, the “empty” space located to the east and north of that ride, and possibly even the Nemo building to make a new E ticket ride. It could be a two part ride. The first would be a trackless ride, taking you through the prehistoric land, traveling by different dinosaurs on your way to the “launch zone”. Once their it would use the flights of avatar system to take you by pterodactyl through the prehistoric land.
While the ideas could be changed I feel like that section of the park is now the one in most need of a renovation in Disney world.
Love your videos Jack! Keep them coming!

4:49 Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom, I would reach toward the original idea for Disneyland Paris and change Tomorrowland into a Jules Verne/H.G Wells sci-fi themed land with Journey to the Moon instead of Space Mountain, Journey to the Center of the Earth and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea rides from Tokyo Disney Sea can be added and Tron could be re themed to a fit as well.

4:49 There's so many to choose from! I think the Disney park area that needs the most TLC is Disneyland's Tomorrowland. I think we can all agree that WDW's version is slightly better even though it's getting some love right now. They need to take out Star Wars Path of the Jedi and Launch Bay since they just don't seem necessary anymore. Keep Star Tours but forget the other 2. The tracks for the Peoplemover are ruined so that can't come back, but who knows? Hopefully someday they'll fix it up and put it back. Maybe have Tron take over Star Wars Launch Bay or Finding Nemo; Submarine Voyage since that makes NO SENSE in Tomorrowland and even though Autopia is outdated, should stay for the sake of little kids. Update but keep Buzz Lightyear for sure and maybe put Stitch Encounter where Path of the Jedi is and if possible, put in a new classic animatronic show in place of Star Wars Launch Bay. Something in the style of Hall of Presidents but make the waiting area a museum of past Disneyland artifacts and history and call it Disneyland: Past, Present and Future and include Walt Disney's legacy too!

4:49 DINOLAND!! As much as I love Dinoland USA it really doesn’t fit in with the rest of the part. Imagine if they switch the theme from a dinosaur carnival to an immersive dinosaur land. Disney could build an outdoor rollercoaster (like Slinky Dog, or Hagrid’s at Universal) filled with animantronic dinosaurs. You could keep the original Dinosaur ride but it would need a change in the story to make sense in the land.

449 and i would wouldnt say I would completely overhaul this ride, but if given the chance I would love to update the peoplemover ride in Magic Kingdom to a more current version, maybe once the Tron ride comes Disney can add to the voice over speaking about that ride since that section of people mover has no voice over

4:49 - Even though it's fairly new, I would like to overhaul Galaxy's Edge at Hollywood Studios to incorporate Star Tours, the way they incorporated Toy Story Mania into Toy Story Land - it seems kind of silly to leave Star Tours all by itself when it's basically around the corner from Galaxy's Edge - Pulling them together would give them room for at least one more ride between Star Tours and the new area - if they don't want to include the original Star Wars trilogy in Galaxy's Edge, why did they bother having Chewbacca in the Millennium Falcon set up? - the one thing I do NOT want to see is a re-purpose of Star Tours into a Marvel Universe or other Disney IP ride, it would completely break my heart

I'd overhaul Animal Kingdom's Dinoland U.S.A into a South American themed area starting with the carnival area. South American area would focus on adventure, archeology and culture. Theming could mimic the mountains of Brazil, Peru and Ecuador. Animal walk exhibits could include a Amazonian forest. A Ducktales themed family mine-car adventure could replace the Twirl and Whirl. The Dinosaur ride could be replaced with El Dorado themed archeological adventure with a possible Indiana Jones twist. The Boneyard could easily be rethemed to be a paleontology dig at Bauru Basin, a popular dinosaur fossil site in South America.

Level and rebuild Disneyland's Tomorrowland keeping only Space Mountain and the Monorail. Even though it's dated maybe move Star Tours to Galaxy's Edge. The land can use another ride and four flight simulators won't take up much space. Maybe even re theme it to something else. The Kessel Run? If the submarines have to go it would be nice to at least keep the lagoon. Maybe even expanding it for a new attraction, but I suspect it will become part of Fantasyland. And finally, to echo what's been said a million times, bring back the people eating, leisurely, relaxing, sore foot resting, People Mover.
