3:39 I know this would never happen but I have always wanted a coster based on the Roger Rabbit short "Roller Coaster Rabbit" . The idea of a rollercoaster that is still being constructed and also falling apart as you ride it seems like the best Disney ride that will never be. You could also theme this to the rollercoaster painters Mickey Donald and Goofy short that was part of Mickey Mouse Works/ House of Mouse. A Disney villains coaster where the villains attack you as you race by them would be cool too. Animatronic figures plus 2D and cgi characters projected through out the experience. This Idea came to me before they re-did California Screaming. Pretty much the idea of the rollercoaster breaking and falling apart and creating the illusion of falling off the track and landing on another track is what i am pitching here. I prefer the classic IP
Congratulations! You've won the DSNY Newscast Pin for this video! Message me your address details on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and I'll send the Pin out soon! - Jack
It's astonishing how massive this ride is. One of the biggest rides in Disney turned into a queue, which you then launch from into one of the largest buildings in Disney... Mind boggling..
That's great that they're not replacing their Tower of Terror with Mission Breakout. It's too beautiful a ride to get rid of. Nothing against Mission Breakout. I also love it and its soundtrack. But Tower of Terror holds a special place in my heart and many others hearts.
Disney doesn't need to go the thrill ride route. Its what set it apart for years against the other parks, as a family friendly area for the whole family to enjoy, not just the adrenaline junkies.
Hey Jack, just so much cool stuff coming at Disney World this year. And Mickey’s Run Away railroad coming sooner rather than later at Hollywood Studios . Plus saw Remy’s Ratatouille sign went up in France. All the new stuff in EPCOT is coming along
3:38 I would build a rollercoaster themed to Phineas and Ferb and would draw inspiration from the first episode where Phineas and Ferb build the coolest coaster ever. You also would hear the soundtrack in the background. I think the roller coasters going to be really cool as far as I can tell.
3:39 First, I am very interested and excited for this GOTG coaster. Can't wait for both this AND the Tron coasters. Now if I could make a coaster off any IP, I would chose a Big Hero 6 one. I can see fans fly through San-Fransokyo riding Baymax while experiencing what it would be like to be on an actual mission with the gang. Maybe put in a combination of screen and animatronics to enhance the experience.
@3:39 I’m super excited for the GOTG: C⏪ attraction! I think they will have the entire track covered in a tube with a screen built in all around the ride to show the story trajectory. I would like to see an ultra immersive rollercoaster themed to Sugar Rush from Wreck it Ralph. The pre show could mimic Test Track’s create your own automobile, but with Sugar Rush’s candy elements. Then the ride itself could have a dual slot car design like in Radiator Springs Racers so you are racing other riders, but with less dark ride elements to allow for more race track. Plus the track could have various candy/dessert fragrances sprinkled throughout the attraction! Since this slot car technology is already in use in CA, FL and Tokyo, I could see this roller coaster in somewhere like Paris, HK, or Shanghai.
3:39 I like the idea of the Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind and feel it is going to be great. As for a new roller coaster, I have had the idea of Flight of Passage being a B&M inverted launch coaster through Pandora with the soundtrack being piped in through on-board audio.
Couple of comments on the Guardians of the Galaxy roller coaster project. I may be mistaken but wasn’t the pre-show building AKA Universe of Energy building to contain the maintenance and train storage component of the ride also? As far as the main show building why couldn’t they have made it a dome shape instead of a square box that stands out like a sore thumb? Other than these two concerns and the fact that Disney is running an over 50 billion dollar debt I am still trying to digest their design choices….
3:39 I would want to see the magic carpets of alladin become a roller coaster. I think a ride that takes you on an ultra immersive journey through agrabah would be ridiculously cool. This ride would be in the magic kingdom and would be placed in the location of a nearby cast parking lot. You would enter in a small market place to enter the ride. The ride would take you on to a magic carpet looking ride vehicle and using a new lap bar system from s and s technologies would allow you to not have a over the shoulder restraint but also allow for tight dips and loops. The ride would not focus on something going horribly wrong but would instead take the flight of passage way of doing things and would focus on the beauty and wonder that agrabah has. Using a mix of real world scenes and projection dome tech similar to what is being used on guardians of the galaxy to make a 360 degree experience. I feel this is a roller coaster that needs to exist because not only would it be awesome for Disney fans but would also add another badly needed true thrill ride to the Walt Disney world resort.
3:39 Want to feel like you are being moved forward in Time as you go up the 1st part, then fly though Space attacking the Bad Guys, then come back in Time to the Present Time, on the return part. I would Love to see a Youngling Attraction in Galaxies Edge at Walt Disney World. A roller coaster type with many different Speeders to choose from. You ride through the Forest or at the Races.
I can't believe that this ride and TRON: Lightcycle Run are both opening next year. It still feels like it was only just yesterday that they were announcing both roller coasters and we didn't even know at first that this was going to be a roller coaster in the first place.
As long as I do not have to be out in the hot and humid weather while on vacation at WDW, I'm good with what ever attractions are added to EPCOT this time around. A/C rocks!!
3:39 The rescuers Down under- themed to the outback starting off in a mouse plane then ending up in a kangaroo pouch all while trying to escape,it would take places inside a building similar to like how the original ET ride was but faster.
3:38 I am excited to ride this roller coaster, as I think it is almost like Space Mountain 2.0, taking advantage of all the newest technology, as I feel Space Mountain never lived up to it's potential due to limits of the technology of the time. Of course, making it Guardian's of the Galaxy themed, doubles the potential of this ride. I am really looking forward to the Galaxarium at the beginning of the queue, as I am also thrilled with the Chamber of Planets they have at Disney Sea. I would love to see this technology used for a Star Wars themed roller coaster.
3:39 One of the things I'd like to see in the GOTG ride is a sort of "primer" on the story-line and characters. There may be many people who aren't familiar with tthis relatively new addition to the Disney family of properties. My wife and I made sure to watch the Marvel movies so that we would be up to date and knowledgeable about the characters. Chances are, many will be new to the franchise and the pre-ride features will be a good way to do a quick background/update.
3:38 Mission breakout looks so cool!!! I had no idea what to expect, so this is so exciting!!!!! I am really excited that it’s a roller coaster because Epcot does not have big coasters. Disney should buildA roller coaster version of soarin but going to the Disney parks around the world and seeing their famous attractions. It would probably be somewhere in Epcot and would go really fast when we are traveling to the park ( it would even show some famous landmarks) and would use projections and advanced props and animatronics to simulate hovering around the parks or even simulating some of the other rides. We could smell all the snacks, like dole whips and have wind blowing in our faces. This probably will never happen, but I think it would be so cool :)
Mickey visits @ 3:39 This is going way back to the Tomorrowland series of the 1950's Disneyland TV show. A story coaster based on the Ward Kimball created "Man in Space" series could be rather interesting. However, if Disney wanted a lighter, humorous but still educational ride starring one of the Fab Five, they could base it on "Donald In Mathmagic Land" starring Donald Duck!
3:39 Very excited for this ride, I love that they're still going to have some education in this attraction. As for coaster ideas, I'd love to see a ride themed after the original Rocketeer. The style alone would be amazing, but I think elements of the story could be worked in as well.
3:39 As a HUGE Star Wars fan and lover of anything adrenaline based, I would love to see a roller coaster that puts me in an X-Wing flying though a battle with Tie Fighters...or maybe I'm a storm trooper in a tie fighter, but it would have to be something as a roller coaster.
3:39 Always love your content! You're my go to for Disney news and updates. Super excited for Guardian's. Definitely gonna make a trip down when it opens. If I could have an IP ride or rollercoaster it would be themed to 101 Dalmatians. It would be a dark ride dash through London escaping Cruella and her henchmen. A mix of animatronics, screens, could be used and projection mapping, and real sets. I would have it contain forward and backwards sections, maybe a launch or two. I feel it would be better as a family style coaster rather than thrill. A meet and greet area outside the ride would be a bonus. You could have real puppies at times. Merchandising could be a big asset for this. And it could also be a platform for Disney to bring awareness to different adoption agencies, pet services, or service dog agencies. Top Dog kind of shows with tricks can happen outside for entertainment sporadically. It is a neat way to bring awareness, entertainment, and immersion to a classic Disney story. In addition Cruella is always one of ppls favorite villains. She would have a home now.
3:38 - Hi Jack! I'm very curious how a storytelling coaster would work - I haven't seen any of those movies but I would probably want to say the most important piece that I hope Disney adds in is to ensure any person going on the ride should be able to get right into the story and world right away so that most people would be able to enjoy and get the most out of the attraction
I am feeling excited and totally amazed by the effects of the new Gardians of the Galaxy ride. It certainly looks very 3D dimensional where it will take everyone into the planet's of the film and give the experience of being in the movie. I love these videos Jack of future development and am keen to hear more of the ride that was put on hold about the volcanic world with the dinosaurs taking everyone back millions of years ago that was coming to Epcot.
Say it with me now... "The Emperor's New Groove" I actually have an entire ride concept worked out... but I like to keep the details secret... just in case. All I can say is it would be unlike anything else.
3:39. Thanks for the update Jack. Super excited about this ride coming to epcot! I only wish it was next year instead of 20/22. This will be the premier ride in Epcot for many years to come. Right now test track is closed, but word is no updates😞. My hope for the next renovation to the animal kingdom would be to retheme Dynoland into an Indy themed area of animal kingdom. The Indy ride in Anaheim (which is the same ride in Dynoland) is just so much better themed as Indy. Complete with the ball chasing riders out of the ride. Then the awful looking ride across from this could be replaced with the Indy coaster already in Paris for a while. Then they could utilize the Indy stunt show (a huge space) for a new Pixar ride Cars land? Or really give us something brand new. Wouldn’t a Zootopia themed attraction be most logical for animal park? Most people are shocked to learn Zootopia is the 3rd biggest box office movie from Pixar behind only Frozen & Frozen 2. The only 3 Pixar movies to make a billion at the box office. With that kind of intake Zootopia deserves a presence in the park and with a new Indy movie on the way the whole thing is win win win! Thanks again for the info! Waltineer 2,351
Mickey at 3:38 - GREAY UPDATE! I’ll look forward to this for sure! All though I will always miss Universe of Energy (original version, without Ellen) and the great music. That was such an impressive ride system for 1982 when it opened (I was there on opening day). The trackless “theater cars” were so impressive and the whole attraction was very immersive. Sort of the Rise of Resistance of it’s day!
To start with Jack, I AM NOT A GOG FAN! On the other side I am a Coaster Chumpion. So I am perplexed. GOG Cosmic Rewind Coaster will not be high on my "Stand By" que. Definitely not a "Fast Pass" waste. Maybe just behind Goofy's Air Training School. Where would I put the new coaster system? Indiana Jones. To make some of those slow teadus "Twist and Turns" more exciting. Or maybe a Disc Shaped Design. Where riders control the turns, pitch, & yew. To be ridden as a 360° PEOPLE-MOVER. As far as the possible design of the Galaxiorium the only change I would like to see is at the top. Having climbed a giant circle route it would have been Disney thematic is the two small curved areas were more rounded over. One might even say more hidden ears like. Speaking of the Hidden Mickey it can be found at time code 3:39 in. So I've been Jim. You've been stuck to long on the escalator. Catch ya' next time.
Looking pretty good...a lot of construction at Epcot right now...might have to delay going down for a visit...will be worth it when all complete, though...
It would be really cool to see the integration of 4D like features into the different projection spheres of Comic Rewind. For example, sprays of water when traveling through an ocean like environment or differing smells based on whatever place you’re traveling through.
3:39 I am pretty excited about the Guardians ride. I think the new technology will be amazing. I know it is pretty dated, but I would love to see a reboot of the Black Hole and an attraction to go with it.
Man, love ya. But you understated this project a bit. Disney hired the company that makes the larges projection screen rooms on earth. This projection tech is going to be truly one of a kind
I did a WHOLE VIDEO about Spitz Inc being hired back in April 2019. Didn’t feel it necessary to always cover old ground and repeat info. Just feel it will get boring and look like I’m padding for time. I want to deliver new info.
3:40 I can’t wait to ride Cosmic Rewind. I hope it is not a virtual line like Star Wars. The whole story line rollercoaster ride is exciting and to be part of the story.
hello and just to say why Disney just sponsored spark for the play Pavilion right nextdoor from mission space because of the play time app and one two things for the rollercoaster day can not teredown the VIP lounge or exit from the old slow energy ride.
3.39 - I can't wait for this ride, wishful thinking but I hope they reference the avengers during the ride! I'd like to see a new Indiana Jones coaster in Adventureland, similar to the mummy at universal.
My worry is that Cosmic Rewind doesn’t have sufficient head rests for us taller folk. That reverse launch may cause a lot of headaches. Looks like the live action Beauty and the Beast isn’t the singalong version. Good.
Can we get an Indiana Jones rollercoaster already? Merge the idea of the ride in Anaheim, with some of this new ride technology. Make the ride like the minecart scene in Temple of Doom.
I would build a roller coaster part outside part dark ride which is Star Wars Original Trilogy ESB. With you in the Millenium Falcon and Darth Vader, the Super Star Destroyer, multiple tie fighters, the chase in the asteroid belt and the encounter with the space worm incorporated.
at last disney will have a ride to compete with universals hagrats --- awesome ... i would love to see a big hero six coaster at japan in a built up fuji mountain as was originally planned.. how awesome would that be. has a superhero theme and enough excitement
3:39 If Cosmic Rewind is going to time travel through the galaxy, I would like to see a scene where they revisit 1980s EPCOT Center, maybe with a little Captain EO music thrown in. And as for a differently themed roller coaster using this technology, Zootopia of course! Ride picks up where the movie left off. Nick and Judy are trying to bust some street racers, all while trying to avoid hitting innocent civilians.
I’m super excited and thrilled with what they’ve proposed so far. I’m also curious what possible Ellen Easter eggs they may infuse in to the experience since they are known to do that. A little Ellen cameo on an alien planet? We know Bill Nye won’t be appearing anytime soon with his current feelings on Disney.
I would see how Peter Quill evolved into a galaxy protector with his team from his time and I would prefer a coaster that could take you back to Walt's early years.
It sounds like a very fun ride. I like how it is at least one addition of some Marvel to the Walt Disney World theme parks. It would be cool to some how include Stan Lee, Yondu, and Thanos as characters on the ride. I would make an Ant Man and The Wasp themed rollercoaster, and add it to any of the Avengers Campus'. It would be similar to the Tron Lightcycle rollercoaster, but instead you would board an Ant, and you would be with an swarm of Ants, and riding beside Ant Man and The Wasp.
I'd love a Doctor Strange roller coaster at WDW based on the trippy, psychedelic dimension-hopping created by the great Steve Ditko! They could really put those visuals to good use with lots of inversions and barrel rolls!
3:38. While it's always sad to see an attraction go, I'm excited for Cosmic Rewind. Epcot needs more rides, especially for those few non-festival times of the year. I'd like to see, well as much as possible. Jokes, great music, awesome fights. The things that makes the GOTG films as entertaining as they are. Will always want to have a true Monsters Inc coaster to rush along the track as all the doors are moving around. I had the chance to see all 3 new films and what you said about Awesome Planet and Canada Far & Wide are pretty much my exact thoughts. I was expecting more jokes in the Canada film and was a little disappointed. I was very impressed with Awesome Planet. It picked up a few tricks for Soarin' that make it more interested than just a normal film. The BATB singalong is....interesting. It's definitely for the younger crowd and I think will be popular with kids and families. I can't say I'll be rushing back to see it again.
Hey Jack, you going to be at WDW on the 29th-31st? Seems like you were there last year. I will only be going to AK and MK though. Will definitely do everything during the 50th.
I'm always skeptical of new films becoming rides or areas, but EPCOT needs a coaster. I would like an Iron Man's Energy Lab show and lab in EPCOT or Tomorrowland but for a coaster I would Do a Buzz Lighthyear jet pack coaster where you're belly down if he wasn't in Tomorrowland. Maybe a Wall-E themed coaster or ride in general.
Take the rise technology and rewind show concept coming to the drawing board. Demo the indy stunt show and you have all that space to make an epic new indiana jones immersive experience..ooh it could be themed after Tony Baxter's mine car escape from indy 2 that DLR never got. WDW has the space....
3:39 I know this would never happen but I have always wanted a coster based on the Roger Rabbit short "Roller Coaster Rabbit" . The idea of a rollercoaster that is still being constructed and also falling apart as you ride it seems like the best Disney ride that will never be. 3:39. How about a flying carpet coaster themed to Aladdin in Morocco
It takes place in Saudi Arabia.
Disney doesn't need to go the thrill ride route. Its what set it apart for years against the other parks, as a family friendly area for the whole family to enjoy, not just the adrenaline junkies.
lenoxpet Aladdin isn’t Moroccan my guy
3:39
If I had to choose, it definitely would be a Phineas and Ferb themed rollercoaster, like the one from the first episode.
I would like to see a roller coaster themed towards monsters Inc. where you would ride through the door factory to save Mike and Scully 3:39
Bobby Mangano that sounds awesome.
Hey Jack, just so much cool stuff coming at Disney World this year. And Mickey’s Run Away railroad coming sooner rather than later at Hollywood Studios . Plus saw Remy’s Ratatouille sign went up in France. All the new stuff in EPCOT is coming along
I could be completely wrong on this, but is that Adam The Woo in the blue tee shirt at 1:17?
IT WAS!!! We had a good chat as we were both there trying to get some construction footage!
IT IS!!!
Nice catch
They need a POV ride for Yondu's arrow. That would be a great ride.
Cool idea!
3:38 I would build a rollercoaster themed to Phineas and Ferb and would draw inspiration from the first episode where Phineas and Ferb build the coolest coaster ever. You also would hear the soundtrack in the background. I think the roller coasters going to be really cool as far as I can tell.
cool idea but they would never do that for a number of reasons

Hello from Buffalo. Found your channel today and must say you have a great format and delivery as to current happenings in the park. Tyvm

Yeah, I know EVERYONE IS LIKE “here’s the demolition of INNOVENTIONS... AGAIN”

To start with Jack,
I AM NOT A GOG FAN!
My wish is to go to Walt Disney World, that dream isnt looking so far ways.. definitely will be reached within 10-15years
Same
Looking pretty good...a lot of construction at Epcot right now...might have to delay going down for a visit...will be worth it when all complete, though...
It’s still worth going! Space 220, Ratatouille this summer and Harmonious!!! Just make it past Future World and you’re fine!
I wish we could get a roller coaster Mt. Fuji combo in world showcase in Japan, bring more thrill rides to EPCOT and make a new Matterhorn
6:19 Sadly, not what we got. Only video screens.
Thanks Jack 😀 Thanks Mickey Travels😀
3:40 I can’t wait to ride Cosmic Rewind. I hope it is not a virtual line like Star Wars. The whole story line rollercoaster ride is exciting and to be part of the story.
hello and just to say why Disney just sponsored spark for the play Pavilion right nextdoor from mission space because of the play time app and one two things for the rollercoaster day can not teredown the VIP lounge or exit from the old slow energy ride.
IS THAT WOO?!
Mickey Travels didn't get it done in 2019 to get Platinum Earmark?
3.39 - I can't wait for this ride, wishful thinking but I hope they reference the avengers during the ride!
I'd like to see a new Indiana Jones coaster in Adventureland, similar to the mummy at universal.
My worry is that Cosmic Rewind doesn’t have sufficient head rests for us taller folk. That reverse launch may cause a lot of headaches.
Looks like the live action Beauty and the Beast isn’t the singalong version. Good.
Is that an issue for you on any other coaster with no headrest?
Can we get an Indiana Jones rollercoaster already? Merge the idea of the ride in Anaheim, with some of this new ride technology. Make the ride like the minecart scene in Temple of Doom.
3:40 I can’t wait for this to open
0:46 “I think it’s about time that we start looking towards the Horizon”
Darn straight! Bout freaking time we got a Horizons 2.0! EPCOT needs this!
IT'S TAKING A WHILE!
Ahh, good ol' go-away green xD
What about HKDL, DLP and TDL?
at last disney will have a ride to compete with universals hagrats --- awesome ... i would love to see a big hero six coaster at japan in a built up fuji mountain as was originally planned.. how awesome would that be. has a superhero theme and enough excitement
3:05 by the way on the Hidden Mickey.
I coming to March of this year
Hey Jack, are there any remnants of the "Canada (You're a Lifetime Journey)" song in the new film? Is there a new song?
Yeah it uses the old song!
Thank you! So pleased to hear that.
I would like to see yandu (even though he is dead) and Glenn Close. I would also like to see the awesome burns in the dialogue of the ride
I would see how Peter Quill evolved into a galaxy protector with his team from his time and I would prefer a coaster that could take you back to Walt's early years.
3D dark ride thrill rollercoaster Star Wars Battle of Yavin. Your one of the xwing pilots.
Cant wait :)
1:17: ADAM??!!
Can't wait till next year to see it!
"See" not ride it cause I don't have tje money to go there myself.
Deshawn Edwards hopefully
You can make it soon. :-)
I can’t wait.
Hey Jack, you going to be at WDW on the 29th-31st? Seems like you were there last year. I will only be going to AK and MK though. Will definitely do everything during the 50th.
Adam the woo is in one of your video's lol
I'm always skeptical of new films becoming rides or areas, but EPCOT needs a coaster. I would like an Iron Man's Energy Lab show and lab in EPCOT or Tomorrowland but for a coaster I would Do a Buzz Lighthyear jet pack coaster where you're belly down if he wasn't in Tomorrowland. Maybe a Wall-E themed coaster or ride in general.
Indiana Jones temple of doom minecart roller coaster
Emperors New Groove going to Yzma's secret lab!
A Tangled The Series coaster! Rapunzel saves you with her hair.
Looking towards the horizon 🤣🤣🤣
...and news for Paris? :(
Not really at the moment... hoping on some Iron Man Coaster News soon!
Take the rise technology and rewind show concept coming to the drawing board. Demo the indy stunt show and you have all that space to make an epic new indiana jones immersive experience..ooh it could be themed after Tony Baxter's mine car escape from indy 2 that DLR never got. WDW has the space....
