  • Terry Hill “turns back the clock” with an unbelievable 1st-half performance including try-saving tackles before & after getting knocked out. Also scores a try.

After round one my daughters were crowing about their Parra beating Penrith by 60 points and Vaeleckie scoring a hat trick in first ten minutes of season...I said figurately that Terry Hill was going to bury Vaeleckie into Leichhardt oval...I was their and could not see it but when I WATCHED THE REPLAY i COULD NOT BELIEVE IT,,,,TEZZA buried his head into the surface.

@@tomytiger20 well, it's nothing personal against him, but look at his game play beforehand. he was running around like a pork chop, jumping in on every play out of position, determined to put in a performance that got people talking. his little fake slumber was his attempt at recreating a dermott brereton moment: "ooh wow, he got knocked out but got straight back up and played a blinder. what heart, what courage...". the laughter from sterlo and the other guy at 5:11 "we'll have to ask terry whether or not he was hurt" sort of gives it away. when you're knocked out you're not on the ground having a peaceful kip like he was; your eyes are rolling in your head, and it happens at the point of contact. a delayed drop like he did is more consistent with a brain bleed. ie: death. also, when you come out of being knocked out, you dont respond like that, you are groggy as hell and the team dr. wouldn't let you just get back up and carry on. anyway, i guess he played a good game, but he was deadset faking it.
