Responding to your question about the Magna Carta -- Many copies were created at the time the Magna Carta was signed, and several have survived. One was indeed on display at the U.S. National Archives when last I visited.
Going backward to try to finangle FO3 to work and play requires significantly more bandwidth than my brain has. I can't tell you how grateful I am for your videos. I also really appreciate your wise and kind analysis of various complicated subjects. Thanks for being a force for good in the world and for all you do.
Awww dang it, I was hoping you'd mention the other relics that you could recover to give to Abraham Washington. Like for instance, there were some other things like Lincoln's rifle, and I think a few other relics of Lincoln's... It's been a while since I played Fallout 3 and my memory is fuzzy about what other relics you could retrieve, but I suppose it's not a part of the quest, but it would have been an interesting addon to the video. I don't remember if there were other quests though that could lead you inadvertently to Lincoln's rifle though.
At one point when I visited the National Archives in Washington DC, the Magna Carta happened to be on loan from the British Museum. It's not unheard of for it to be in the National Archives...just one hell of a kwinkidink.

The tape of the father of the moonbeam make me cry :,) so beautiful quest.
This makes me want to replay Fallout 3.
So in Fallout 4 we know the Brotherhood of Steel sack Rivet City so the safest place for the Declaration of Independence is to leave it here and give Washington the fake.
Still waiting on the big empty
have you're self a ice cold nuka-cola Qauntum and Relax because this is oxhorn
Mmmhmmm another juicy lore video
Responding to your question about the Magna Carta -- Many copies were created at the time the Magna Carta was signed, and several have survived. One was indeed on display at the U.S. National Archives when last I visited.
"Stealing Independence"? Dammit where's Nick Cage when ya need him?!
Wasn’t the rifle obtained by helping the slave group?
Your reaction at 18:17 is the same one I had xD just imidietely froze up when she said mines and went "Oh Shit"
It's Sydney Fox from Relic Hunter! (loved that Show!)
She even looks a little bit like Tia Carrere. :-)
Thank you for making hour long episodes which keep me company when I stay up at night doing homework. :)
What's up with Sydney and her perpetual smirk? She's not The King.
At one point when I visited the National Archives in Washington DC, the Magna Carta happened to be on loan from the British Museum. It's not unheard of for it to be in the National Archives...just one hell of a kwinkidink.
I wanna know what happened to rivit city nowww😭
A Fan Theory about Elder Maxson stealing the fusion reactor of Rivet City to use on the Prydwen.
Gipsy Danger862 Nothing happened just a theory.
Gipsy Danger862
Just open a saved game. Fast travel to rivit city, still there...
In fallout 4 not 3.
It's funny i did not take the time to examine all the stuff you do Oxhorn while i was playing myself, but i do on your channel. Much love, don't stop.
I love his vids I subbed to you not that long ago
Lora Elstad thx
It's also full of perfect perfect spots for mirelurk dens (and ass medicine)
I like how Ox ignored pronanly the biggest relic of them all, the giant propeller plane that inexplicably the old man somehow found.
*Insert National Treasure joke here*
Jefferson being an ancestor of mine, this quest always gets me, i could never bring myself to ever take the real one. always made the fake copy.
His voice... is that guy... um so and so outpost with the dwemer puzzle cube skyrim
Yeah they tend to hire the same V.A for each game, infact there still few from morrowind are still listed.
I went the long way around by accident and Sydney died fighting there. I got annhiliated by the protectrons just trying to get the bill of rights, so that's where I stopped.
Melissa Christensen haha same
See the vid is one hour long im happy
Actually fun tidbit, those particular flavors of mentats weren't addictive in Fallout 3, only vanilla mentats were. So makes a bit more sense here at least XD
*I'd love to see a FO game set in China! Learning about how they dealt with everything and their stories :O*
Realityz I thought the same but what about the language barrier?
*Maybe they could do something along the lines of Metro? I mean, They have characters speaking Russian as well as English but with an accent, Maybe they could do something like that? As for the lore of it, Something along the lines of you're a Chinese solider from pre-war and through-out your travels you've been taught English? Hmmm, Not sure to be honest!*
some crazy chineese pre war scientist (probably the guy who invented the stealth suit) invented a prototype universal translator.
we have no lore on anything outside the us so it would not be lore breaking.
there you go problem solved.
*Genius!*
Sounds cool
The plane in the museum is a US P-51 Mustang, a WW2 era fighter that saw service in the European and Pacific theaters of WW2. It was well known for it's fuel capacity that allowed it to escort bombers from England to Berlin and Iwo Jima to Tokyo.
Death Metal spewing protectron sounds awesome.
Nice profile picture.
“BRUVA I AM PINNED HERE!”
I know, right!?
So much of that speech in the underground bit reminded of Sopot's red faction 2 speech.
SOME ONE GET NICKILS CAGE
I LOVE Potatos release the Nicolas Cage (it's a joke on release the Kraken)
17:10 There were actually at least 20 English/British colonies in North America in 1776. There was the 13 colonies that would later become the United States, Quebec (won from the French in 1763 following the French and Indian War), Nova Scotia (English colony began in 1653), and East & West Florida (won from the Spanish in 1763 following the French and Indian War).
Oxhorn can you please do a play through of the mod rust! It's really hard and like a new game its so intense no city or anything is alive I bet you could do it
Oh, my aching history buff-ness...I played this years ago, but I had forgotten so many details. I love the idea of combining robot guides with security and explody goodness, and absolutely no attempt at makeup beyond slapping on a wig. "Excuse me, Mr. Gwinnett, but are you aware your head is a giant thumb?"
The plane looks like a p-51
Xander Shouldn't everyone know this that is old enough to play Fallout?
I was correcting oxhorn because he didn't seem to know what type of plane it was. And to answer your question, no.
+Drew - Washurmouthinton Aviation history isn't exactly something covered in schools, y'know. It's a bit of a niche subject.
Not a plane expert, but yeah, looks like a Mustang.
“I have not yet begun to fight!!” is a quote of John Paul Jones, a Navy Captain who is said to have said this to cheer on his men during a battle.
Damn Fallout Yankees, we Limeys want our Magna Carta back!
But Aussies are independent from the UK...
- Some Canadian.
Prolly someone already told you, but the Robotics Expert Perk gives an additional dialogue option that allows you to run diagnostics on the protectron and shit it down, among other options i don't recall now, check the wiki page for details, pretty sure they'll be there.
Do a video on Camp Guardian
Candy Stripers were nicknamed that way for the peppermint style red and white stripes on their uniforms, they were like..... not quite nurses but they helped patients quality of life, bringing them books, gifts, snacks and things
