Thanks for watching guys!
Saw this one, already. I was inquiring about, how do you fasten the enclosure to rhe vehicle? Is the enclosure fasten to the vehicle at all?
I saw the videos but was curious if you also sold boxes like this.
What's the name of the first test song
Name of beat @6:07
How much space needs to be between the speaker and the floor, 1 1/2"? 2"? 3"?
dude this thing looks like it could have been purchased as an optional feature when you buy a new car. great job, it looks amazing, as allways :D
Mighty impressive for a guy who doesn’t install for a living, I love watching your videos, so well done!
It looks amazing. Really like how it matches the vehicle interior.
I love it! Wish you would do a oldschool install. With what and all you know now, it would be incredible!
I have a jeep CJ5 and I am planning to build a very compact box to go under the back seat. It will only be 5X17X23, I'm going to try two three inch subs. I use your channel to learn about box construction. I have been building things for 30 years and you have totally changed how I use my router. I went from one router I used rarely, to having three dedicated to table mount, jig use and free hand. Thanks Mark! keep building!
Killer enclosure as always! Those are actually 2 of my favorite UA-cam tracks to demo with as well.
The finished enclosure looks excellent, fits perfectly with the trunk design!
Looking forward to seeing the rest of this build!
I had a pair of 15" orion 2ntense subs in a sealed downfire enclosure back in 1997. Powered them with orions "the beast" amp. It produced phenomenal accurate bass with no distortion.
You’re a true pro. Your work is art. Thank you for showing us your work
The finished box looks very good, keep up the good work, as always if there are any new templates please make a video, I've learnt alot of handy techniques from you great stuff.
That box is one of the coolest builds you have done yet. Looks like an art deco furnature piece from the 30"s. Would look super cool built out of some red oak, or other hardwood, and just poly'd.
Gorgeous as always Mark! It came out amazing
thats actually really clean looking. I like it
Simplesmente o melhor acabamento em caixas de som para carro 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.
Some people don't want the earth shattering bass that knocks pictures off your neighbors walls. I just want enough to have a good sounding bass without having to find every loose nut and bolt on my car to stop rattles.
I am building a single 10" downfiring sub enclosure for kicker comp 10 and I am using a labyrinth style port system to attempt to get some good lows out of a small under seat enclosure. Ill keep you posted this is my first box! Following your videos has helped me immensely! Mahalo from the 808!!!
That is incredible fabrication. Well done on every detail!
The box looks amazing!! You have mad skillz my friend!!!
What an install
Your work is always top notch!
Wow, that came out beautiful.
I love what I have seen you done it’s beautiful
Awesome video Mark! Thanks!
I did car audio installs in the late 80’s early 90’s. I with i had your channel back then you do awesome work. I was able to build several cars that made it IASCA Nationals back in the day but with what is available now a days we would not stand a chance against the likes of you. I have to say my six 15” Kicker subs in a toyota Tercel was pretty loud. 😁 I had 3 Phoenix gold Route 66 amps along with an M100 and M44 (Look that up on google) they are considered “vintage” now and even then the were a very limited edition. I own 3 of 4 solid in the southern US. For mids and highs I ran all Image Dynamics including the under dash horns that sounded amazing. (Look thst up too..haha) Any thanks great channel
beautiful, this is what i need for my outback
Great content as always 💪🏻
I think the final product is sleek and stylish i love it.
Nice work Inspiring! That new Audio Control is a must have..
Awesome work bro !!
I always loved audio control products they are always a step ahead, even oldschool xovers i had in the past were the best.quality for a price.if i can afford a 5 channel a.c amp i would get it a long time ago
Great info as always.
I use that adhesive at work extensivly. The charcoal filter that you showed have a useable life of around 3 days outside of the package. You should put new filters on every time you use that adhesive. Also, if you have a batch that gets a bit clumpy you can kick it back with MEK.
Awesome and professional
That is a beautiful box! Sometimes you just need good sound; it doesn't always have to be neighborhood-shattering insanity!
Heck, my media/home theater setup uses four 5.25" drivers for the lows. I live in a cozy little studio apartment, so I needed to play deep and fill the room at low volume, so the neighbors couldn't hear it. It's all about the application!
add a tactile transducer!
5.25"s are crossed over at 120hz, with a 2'x4' DMT panel for the mids and highs. :D
This is amazing
🔴 Impeccable 💯👌🏾
As always❗✌🏾
Came out awesome as usual bud 👍🏻
This guy is a real expert. My respect from México.
Very NICE build bro!!!
Damn this guy does some beautiful work
Very nice box. I bet it sounds really clean in person.
That came out great. I’m working with limited space in my 17 Ram 1500 quad cab. I’m trying to plan out a build with good bass for under the rear bench seat.
Man that nice work.
Nice box!
sounds good
I watch your videos A LOT!! First, I wish I could afford some of the setups you do. Secondly, it would also help if I actually lived near you. Love watching. Slowly learning a lot about car audio quality!!
Have you tried spray on truck bed liner?
In place of carpet.
No pet hair stuck to it.
Wipe it off easy with a damp rag.
Water proof coating.
Take a lot of damage from things sliding around. Easy to repaint and do touch up repaires.
Dope work brother. Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming thru
Amazing looking enclosure man. I've been trying to decide what my next build will be and I think I'm going to try something like this. Great job on the build and video. Thank you.
Did you ever make something like this?
@@ThatSoto not even close. Instead of more compact and detailed, I went with huge and basic lol removed the back seat from my SUV for a ported box housing 4 15s.
Damn that box looks beautiful
You are the best mr Mark 👍👍👍
Very clean work. I want to do something like this in my 19 f250.
excelente trabajo + calidad
Not waxing your car, but you are probably one of the top 2 or 3 fabricators out there! Everything you do is DOPE! I even saw a video where you did one of Price’s boxes! You are the man! Just subbed
Man that's a great looking box. Wonder if CAF would be willing to start making videos with recommendations on subs and enclosures to maximize space available in a wide variety of vehicles? That would be useful to truck owners like me who are fishing around trying to get the right sound but have a hard time finding the right equipment for the space available. If CAF ever picked up on that idea I'd be watching those vids for sure. We all go through different vehicles in our lives so it would be helpful sooner and later to have a library of various vehicles and system setups.
Massive design
Mark, great video. One question though. I wanted to know, how did you fasten the enclosure? What fastening system works best for this type of install?
I need that RTA!
You have to be one of the cleverer installers !
Beautiful
You rock! Thanks!
hey mark
you are very good and meticulous !
I need to have this built for my grand Cherokee, but with dual 15" subs.
U could use the same applications to build ur own... Just find some material that match ur vehicle and go from there
Please make a series for the type of build to music genre. Thank you.
I haven’t found anyone in Chicago this good. Most here don’t pay attention to detail.
i once used super 77 do do my door cards in a car i previously owned. it was great all through fall, winter and spring but as soon as it got hot the super 77 let go and all 4 door cards started to sag... try headliner adhesive, it has about the same bond but with a higher temperature range
good stuff...
When you make the last trim panel you should add the SMD neo magnet speaker connector
You are so sick at this I wish I knew as much as you about audio
Lol . You have had my subscription, but let’s be honest . Most of us will never be as good as you and sometimes I feel like your flexing on all of us out here with you super power car audio brain! I love it ! Keep it coming
Nice
nice.
Awesome work mark. Is the top panel covered in vinyl? it looks rubberised
I wished I had about the built like this one
Great
You have similar configurations for 2012 Buick Regal Turbo? Like the upgraded "stock" look 👍🔥💯
I'd buy this
A good sharp razor blade is also very important when doing vinyl and carpet work.
Do you make a custom box for the 2014 Tacoma double cab?
Someone from kicker must have scene this then they made there trtp downfiring comp Rt clean work my man
If you mass produced these, I would totally buy one. Just picked up my 2019 Jeep Rubicon 2 door and want more bass!
There are some companies making these style boxes for trucks and such.
That Look so super great!! Very satisfying to watch😍
Awesome build man! Have you ever done one on F150 11-14 super cab?
Nice build, do you think you can build the same type sub box for a 2015 Silverado crew cab to mount underneath the rear passenger seat, without lifting it?
Great video, i'll like to bring my var to you, its a bmw 7 series with bowers & wilkins sound system but i need more subwoofer bass
I have a yukon xl 05 and had a big box with 2 15s then I had to move so pulled them out plus I'm older now and been trying to do something like this just a lil bigger need the space kids are older and into sports
Dammit Mark, that box looks amazing. I'd love to know what it really sounds like because there's no substitute for being there in person. If you could give an indication of SPL it would be appreciated (I know it's not the purpose of the build, I'm just curious what that rare combination could do).
Would love something like that for my regular cab Ranger Edge.
No much room and the single kicker sub takes too much room.
@Mark you should do a 2019 Silverado crew cab build
You have great builds and great website with blue print for sub boxes. But here are my problems I own 1993 Nissan 300zx convertible it would help if you did build with
that type of car in mind Toyota MR2 Gen 1,2,3 thanks
What would be the minimum space required for the bottom open space below the speakers? If the space was too small, wouldn't it act like a port and effectively turn the box into a 4th order bandpass?
Can you make an entire detailed video on a full basic installation on tweeters, door speakers, amp, sub?? Or do you already have a video on that?👍👍👍👍👍
How about some vids for routing by hand for beginners?
Loving this build for the Grand Cherokee Mark! I was curious, are you still going with the 3 components up front, two in the rear doors, and 2 in the back corners? If so, are the rear doors and back corners the same speakers that went into the front door? All midbase?
Killer work my man!
I would definitely appreciate your business, suggestions on a 2017 Nissan Titan extended cab?
I’m working on getting some measurements for under my rear seat in my crew cab Colorado to maybe put on shallow mount 8” under the seat. There is maybe 4” of height under the seat. Not sure if it would be worth the effort.
Hey @CarAudioFabrication I installed a subwoofer with an amp and 4 new speakers without an amp. I have a bit of a rattle in the rear deck. Any tips to eliminate it on a 2017 Honda Accord sport
Hi! Love your channel. Can any type off subwoofer can be mounted firing down? That would be my solution in my build. I got 2 sub Boston G2 12"...
Thanks
Whoah! That DM_RTA is awesome, but whoally moally it's got a gold star price tag .. Great job on the videos though, I'm absolutely stuffed with good ideas (a few things are still in the mail but maybe by the weekend I can start building) ..
