Nicko is sounding much better and adding more elements back in to get closer to the original. This album is one of my all time favorites and his right foot on this track is bonkers. God Bless him.
I have been noticing that too. He seems to be getting progressively better. I saw them in Melbourne last month. I will see them again when they come to NY
I have not followed them in recent years … used to the glory days. Was shocked what a shadow of his former self McBrain is. Man, if you can’t go, you can’t go. Its ok. Wish more of them would bow out before it gets to this point.
@@Twotontessie are you aware he had a stroke at the beginning of 2023 and has been recovering ever since? And if Nicko was to bow out now, that means that Iron Maiden is done forever. Would you prefer that as of today? I would personally prefer to still have them in today’s current shape rather than nothing at all, and I think the majority of fans would agree. I get that it’s not the glory days anymore, but they still put on a fantastic show with 100% effort at their age. Cannot say that about most other bands who are in their 60s and 70s. I know you said that you’ve already checked out in recent years, but most of us fans haven’t, and we are lucky to still get this band no matter how little borrowed time is left. Up the Irons \m/
He’s definitely adapting and adding on the fly. the new fills and tricks are progressing each show. Way more fitting than at the beginning of the tour. He’s a pro.
Yes, I think iron maiden might have long gone if not for him and blaze. Both deserve far more credit for their work, especially Yannick, who apart of his energy also was involved in writing quite a few amazing songs, modern classics I'd say.
His is tone is like shards of glass, but with this three guitar lineup, they can all be heard. 34 years of service, his loyalty is unquestioned. His work on Tattooed Millionaire is amazing

@@raynepromotions Playing your own version of a music part is not means butcher it. There are not reason to be a copycat of Adrian. Even Dave doesn't play his solos as recordings.
@robtodd4726 the biggest difference I've noticed between European shows and North American shows, is definitely the distance between the stage and the barrier. In the states, they're right on top of you

Would like to see the other two as well and the rest of the band, janek is fun to watch live cause he is very entertaining but we definitely need adrian and Dave otherwise i will doubt what i will be paying for, i will still say sound wise he can even not be playing anything and it would not affect maiden, they may sound better.

I cant stand JG. Maiden NEVER needed 3 guitar players and he slid into that spot because Bruce liked him. Maidens BEST material is from years ago when JG had nothing to do with it. Please...
Get over it. In original recordings there are 3 guitars doing different things at same time, with a 3rth guitar player they can play songs like this, as original album.

Hay 3 guitarras o más sonando en las grabaciones originales como Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Alexander the Great, Caught y post Brave new World. Por eso ahora tocan estos temas que antes les costaba hacer con 2 guitarristas.

Si no era el no sé quién más podría haber quedado. Kerry King?
