I am a life long Maiden fan and see every tour but there is no way they are 'on top of their game' either live or recording wise. C'mon. But I still love it and will support.
That can be argued since even though members of groups like Maiden are older, they still sound the same and have retained the same intensity in playing live. Though, I still think the Maiden songs from the 80's are better than their recent albums
80s Maiden is prime Maiden, as much we respect the band no one can argue with time, not to mention 80s was the decade of electric guitars, metal, and long hair

Meeting Nicko in Birmingham back in 1997 at formerly known as N.E.C at the Guitar Festival with the late Jim Marshall 🥀 Nicko ask me where the vending machine was. Then bought me a cuppa. After that he said arry's about somewhere on a stall for Rotosound bass strings. That was fxxkin awesome and total unplanned 🤘

Iron Maiden saved my life. I was suicidal during my teenage years but their music got me through those times. Forever greatful for Steve, Bruce and the crew. Now in my mid 40's and I never miss a show. 😊

In 1986 I was high school student in Cincinnati. Discovering the Somewhere in Time album changed my life. I discovered beauty and passion. It means everything to me, even now in 2023.
Yeah man I saw them in Bogota and had avoided reading anything about the setlist 'cause I wanted to be surprised and they come up with this. I absolutely love this song.
They absolutely have to release a live album from this tour, they were amazing and the setlist was amazing. Hearing "Somewhere In Time" songs live was insane, I can't even describe the feeling when the lights when out and the Blade Runner intro kicked in and then Caught Somewhere in Time.....
I know: that feeling when Blade runner turns into a huge clock ticking… and then it starts…Oh my that’s the moment I go back to over and over again ❤️🔥
I missed the show in Spain cause couldn't get my visa, I feel almost heartbroken. My only hope is to catch them next year I don't even know where. And I hope that Nicko will fully recover and destroy that kit and maybe I'll get an even better show instead the one that I missed.

I'm Bruce's number 1 fan...and I'll even admit his voice isn't what it used to be. It's deepened and gotten raspier over the years, he cant hit the notes he was once able to. It isn't bad, it's just different
@@brianparker8352 I felt a bit ashamed of myself after seeing them on The Legacy tour tbh because I'd been thinking to myself beforehand that surely they'd be starting to show some signs of wear and tear and I was kind of mentally preparing myself for the acceptance of it. But I couldn't have been more wrong!! Early on in the show Bruce went over his monitor, crashed to the floor and just bounced back up again up like he was 21, even taking the piss out of himself for it at the end of the song. And as you said, Future Past was, if anything, even better!! And now they're going big with it again next year! The greatest band there's ever been!

One of my fav bands, and these guys are in their late 60’s and still got it. One of the few bands that still does world tours and looks like they absolutely love what they do. Mad respect to IRON MAIDEN.

My own 20 year old daughter tells me that music today for the most part sucks, she goes to me, dad, you were lucky growing up in the 80's and got to hear great music. She is a Iron Maiden fan and a metal fan in general she went with me to see Iron Maiden live in 2019, we still talk about the great time we had at the show, the only disappointing thing about the show was it ended, we both wanted more.
So glad to have finally seen this, hugely underated Maiden track, playing in Birmingham earlier this year. One of the best Maiden guitar solos, expertly played by Adrian as always 👍

Yeah, back then it was a more simpler and safer time for a 13years old boy, to go downtown unescorted...

Incredible how (almost) pitch perfect was Bruce’s performance and, man, what was that guitar solo of Adrian? Jeee, these guys are true legends.

Man, whenever I here this song and any iron maiden music... It brings me tears. In 2022 I lost my oldest brother who introduced me to iron maiden. And all the legendary rock groups. RIP Johnny and thanks for the memories! Up the Irons forever! 🤘🤘
I'm guessing 20 years ago I seen them in Pittsburgh PA n I was up against the fence just watching not moving a muscle, when Dave Morris noticed me, took off his wrist band that said Morris n threw it to me it fell in front of the fence n he pointed to the security guard to give it to me. These men can power up a nation! Honestly everytime I hear the song it's a massive build up to the solo and Adrian "H" Smith hasn't disappointed this time either! You just don't know which way he'll go when he solos but it's always ever melodious!
