Jamie Reed is a whistleblower who was the Case Manager and Research Coordinator in the Pediatric Transgender Center at Washington University School of Medicine at St Louis Children’s Hospital. Jamie Reed holds a BA in Anthropology and a MS in Clinical Research Management. She was the Case Manager in the Pediatric Transgender Center for over 4 years.
Jamie became a public whistleblower after submitting a formal affidavit to the Missouri Attorney General which documents ethical, medical, and safety concerns regarding the patient care in the center. These concerns were made public by The Free Press in an article titled, “I Thought I was Saving Trans Kids, now I am Blowing the Whistle”

As a former healthcare professional I am appalled that surgeons are willing to alter the gender of CHILDREN! Parents WAKE UP!!!
You can’t change gender as it’s apparently not fixed. You can hack off parts of healthy flesh in a vain attempt to ape the sex you’ve been conned into thinking you are.
Some of these parents are complicit unfortunately 😮

I can't believe this comment has already been here an entire month and I was only the 19th person to give it a thumbs up. Why wouldn't people agree with this comment? It just makes sense.
My concern for people detransitioning is not just for coming to terms with the irreversible impacts but also what it is to survive cult like abuse. That in itself is profoundly traumatic and many of these people were already struggling as children and young people. This really needs urgent attention as a support issue.

Do you know how many test I had to do to be able to get HRT for early onset menopause? I had to get my blood drawn several times. Had to have a bone scan and had to have a genetic cancer test and a mammogram. I’m on a low dose of HRT but still have to do consistent testing. The thought that they just hand out HRT after one visit is frightening.
And bio identical are a fortune not covered by insurance. “Gender dysphoria” is a new diagnosis which means “Milk the insurance for everything you can”.
I saw one man get a new nose, cheek implants, forehead reconstruction, bringing back the hairline, chin shaving, breast implants, bottom surgery, fat transfer to hips.which would amount to hundreds of thousands, and he still wasn’t happy.
Because it’s a problem deep within, not on the outside.
It would be considered mental illness in the past.
The thing I find fascinating as a Brit is that I've always been under the impression that the American Left holds up the NHS and other socialised healthcare systems such as Sweden and Finland up as exemplars for the US to look to, except for when it comes to this one issue in which case the American system they hate is suddenly 100% trustworthy and the European systems are suddenly evil and wrong. Just for this one issue.
These kids are going to grow up. Who do you think they are going to blame? Who are they going to sue? Whose face will they remember as the people who promoted this to them? Every one of you horrific people are personally responsible.
When I was 21--- I was still skateboarding. How can a child make any informed choice at or before puberty?

This woman does make me angry. Like how could she push this ideology and allow children/adults to come to such irreversible harm. It's evil.
I am confused also, because she has 5 children of her own. She is not even sorry. Listen to her.

We need people like Jamie Reed to speak up. She’s acknowledged she was wrapped up in this ideology, and now she’s doing everything she can to fix it. She shouldn’t make you angry, the ideology should make you angry.
So interesting that Jamie mentions "Sleeping Beauties." There are so many parallels with "gender dysphoria" and those other social bound syndromes. Jamie, thank you for your honesty and courage in speaking out after seeing things so differently.
That’s interesting, I’ve watched a couple of Jamie Reed’s interviews, but this is the first time I’ve heard her discuss head clinicians argue over what they were treating. Not at all surprising however, the DSM criteria for gender dysphoria are very vague.
In the UK the Cass Report has been published. After four years of rigourous research by Dr Hilliary Cass, it was found that the whole concept of gender dysphoria, puberty blockers and surgeries has been called into question. The report laid bare the inadequencies of procedures and practioners in all area's. It also addressed the toxic atmosphere around discussion or debate on the subject, that led to the unquestioning slavish adherence to the ideology in the medical profession. In short, the whole thing was built on sand. Our NHS, who commissioned the report, is still announcing their insane proclamations that there are 100 genders or something ridiculous. We've one a battle but not the war.

Thank you both for this interview. If we, as a society, really cared about whether transitioning to the opposite sex is ultimately a successful venture for those who choose this, we would be keeping track of those who detransition over time (5, 10, 15, 20 years, etc). It does not appear that we are doing so in the United States. It seems like there are very few longitudinal studies as to what the ultimate outcome really is for those who choose this path.
It's experimental body modification at best. Reminds me more of Not-zee "medical" eugenics experiments.

That detransitioner girl seemed more resilient because she was still too young to understand the depth of the abuse she suffered. Thank you for following up with that question. She spoke out and was ignored. Poor girl.
Most of these people are also still young, and still ideological. She might have even felt embarassment like she had mixed up her own feelings.. and just wanted the clinic to know they would have to be more careful.

Great interview. I applaud both of you for your courage to share this information. However, because the guest frequently used the word “they” when referring to an individual person, it was not always clear about how many people she was referring to - one person or a group. When we use language in the wrong way, we can (and do) get misunderstandings. Unfortunately, this misuse of pronouns is another problem with the whole transgender issue. 😢

Our enemies are actively funding these organizations, certain governments and large corporations. It's outside entities that are fanning the flames in our countries, too make our countries ultimately crash....so, this is what you want? Us to lay down and take it? The best thing we can do is put reality education in front of people who want these modifications. The butchery speaks for itself, if you look at pictures of the actual surgical aftermath....you don't need a medical degree to see the butchery!!!
Sasha - you have amazing guests on and ask great questions, but I think improving your other interview skills would help a lot… speak up, loud and clear (you’re very soft spoken like you’re trying to keep quiet) and say LESS FILLER WORDS like “yeah, wow” “OK, wow” it just comes across as though you’re not fully listening to the guest. This woman doesn’t regret anything she did. She is not coming out and saying that this is wrong, or that she regrets destroying kids lives.
My gut was telling me the same thing, a whistle blower comes out when the going is good not after the tide has turned…
Did you read the article she wrote? She’s been doing interviews for over a year. She’s just answering questions. You can tell she’s clearly uncomfortable about what happened. It’s why she blew the whistle!
I appreciate that she eventually came out but it took 4 years? It shouldn’t take 30 seconds to realize how ghoulish this is. It does highlight how sick and evil some members of the medical community are and how weak other members are. The destroyed lives that they are responsible for is tragic.
I think she's still overcoming her cult like Indoctrination. Sometimes you have to distance yourself from it before rationality sets in slowly.
The nurses that refused to participate were right, and she’s showing her bigotry and bias towards conservatives.
And this is also what makes her most credible! Because it is NOT a political issue for her. In her article in the Free Press, she describes herself as “left of Bernie Sanders”
No one would listen if it’s just another conservative weighing in.
