- By popular demand, here it is...The Mrs Beard Daily Diet Challenge! Today's video is just a bit of a laugh, but it's been suggested so many times now I thought it was about time I gave it a crack.
Of course, she doesn't eat this much every single day and I was fairly liberal with the portions but still, it should give you a bit of an insight into the daily habits of one of the country's freakiest eaters ;)

Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

Went in with an open mind, but didn't expect it to be that bad. Stuffing down tons of carbs and sugars- bread, desserts, soda, candy, chips whilst slathering trans fats filled margarine all over everything. What the fuck man? She's gonna have high cholesterol, debilitating blood pressure problems, kidney and liver problems, cardiovascular issues. Additionally, making those snide remarks knowing that people would disapprove- how arrogant. Clearly some very ignorant people completely divulging themselves into their gluttony.

@@DakDavies I think the average brit has the same general diet as people of many other first world nations (USA, Canada, Australia, etc), but it's easy to run stereotypes, UK has comparable obesity rates to most other western nations, and 99% of people are low-middle class workers eating what they can afford. the UK has been hit with tough inflation in the past year and being a colder nation means added costs to households (heating), very likely a lot of people can't afford to eat more than beans and basic meals.
Insane that in this couple, the dude doing massive food challenges is the one with the healthier diet.
I love carbs as much as the next guy but that made me feel sick 😂

Not with all that sugar. My grandma got diabetes from eating fruit daily. I don’t think adding more sugar to a diet filled with carbs and sugars is gonna balance anything out.
@@H.E.M. you can’t get diabetes from eating fruit everyday, it was the other parts of her diet that did that. People can actually treat and basically cure their diabetes by eating fruit. Real sugars are processed completely differently in the body.

This made me feel way better about my diet. I might over eat but I at least eat vegetables every day and enjoy making home cooked meals.
I'd be seriously worried about the current and longer-term health of my partner if he ate like that. Absolutely horrendous diet.

Fun fact: margarine is black when first made, has to be bleached and died. Dont know how anyone eats that crap, butter is actually good for you and people think its bad. My mom and dad used to say the same thing to me. But when you are a picky eater, those flavors that everyone else loves taste vile to a fussy person. I am waaaaaaaaay better than I used to be as a child, but I still have a huge list of 'nope' foods.

Oh my gosh, I feel your pain so hard and I'm so sorry. I've been in the ER 3 times for its relative GERD and was on a potato diet for a whole year. Even now my foods are mainly bland! But Watching Adam down pizzas and burgers gives me life.

Im watching it concerned too. All terrible nutritionally- dangerous diet that means a surplus of calories and toxic ingredients, which means progressively gaining weight (too many calories in, vs out) and stressful to the body and organs. Generally when people eat these kinds of foods, they gradually gain weight over the years and don’t stay a healthy body mass. Their body will have a high fat percentage and low muscle percentage and it will be a steady slope of weight increase.

It's not about dieting, it's about learning how to sustainably eat in a way that will give your body all the nutrients it needs to function well.
Nah, your fine xx I also have a similar -if not worse diet. I could feel bad about it right now and try to change myself but I'm bang in the middle of the BMI chart. I often run 7 miles in an hour. I never faint, get sick, throw up, get temperatures, get lightheaded. It just doesn't happen to me for some reason. I sleep 7-8 hours a day. I have little stress in my life. Don't smoke or drink heavenly or take drugs. Sure I could improve my diet abit but I'm not Gona. I'm healthier than most of the people commenting about this poor diet. Sure, change if you want to but don't do it because of the comments on this thread. Xx

And also are you saying that if you die you can't of been healthy when you were alive? 🤣 I think it's safe for me to call myself healthy. As someone who doesn't eat bread and eats vegetables multiple times a day, it surprises me how much dough is in this challenge 🙈 I would be clogged up for days 😂

My diet used to be a lot like that but I ate vegetables too, but I had a ton of carbs especially rice. I am now pre-diabetic because of the food I used to eat. I eat healthier now but am still borderline diabetic. Please, please be careful of your food intake. I wouldn't want the same thing happening to you as it did me. ❤

I'd love to know how you guys met and you got into food challenges together with you both having such extreme diets. Food and drink are such a huge part of the enjoyment I share with my hubby.
Stork here in America - I think- is called margarine. It is used as a butter substitute. I was forced to grow up on it and 50 years ago when I found out what real butter is and what Stork is I never look back and have only used butter ever since. There are regular rumors that go around telling you that butter is bad for you but if you find out what is in other things you will never use anything but butter again

My bf is American and he checked all the labels here for soy lol he did say all our food is much better and there are a lot of things extra in American versions. I’m mostly raw vegan so I don’t even see ingredient lists rly I like to eat from nature only it’s rare to buy something in a packet the total opposite to this video lol

My boyfriend hated vegetables. I started making him stir fry beef and vegetables (mushrooms, bell peppers, broccoli and onions) with very little sauce! He now eats vegetables raw and enjoys them!

My wife's daily diet consists of coffee, a croissant, and maybe chicken at some point in the afternoon. Followed by more coffee/espresso somewhere in there.

I use Stork as a spread. My parents used it when I was a kid, probably because it was cheaper than other margarines/butters. I didn't use it myself at first but I could never find a butter/margarine that I actually liked, everything just tastes a little strange, then I bought Stork one day and got a flood of nostalgia in my mouth, and I've used it since. It's not even the cheapest anymore :D

In Germany we call this stuff "Magarine" and it is indeed for baking. With that said, i know a bunch of people who spread it on their toast. It is a pretty good substitute for butter if you living vegetarian.

Me and Lindsay have pretty much the exact same diet lol apart from I wouldn’t have the battenburg I would have angel slices but the best foods in the world are garlic bread, home made Yorkshire puddings & pretty much any kind of potatoes 😊 Please tell Lindsay to visit Yorkshire Charcoal Fresh in Horsforth and ask for a square garlic margarita without the tomato sauce! We do have margarine in the US (like stork) it was considered a healthier option than butter in the 80s. Lots of boomers still prefer it, but the consensus now is that it really isn’t better for you than butter and in some ways is worse.
Boomers were born in the 1940s and early 50s. Too many people get it wrong. They are now in their 70s and 80s, like my Mum. I was a young woman in the 1980s with a baby girl to raise and all the experts on tv said Marg was better for you. Now it turns out it's not. I always preferred butter, but you follow what the experts say when you want the best for your baby.

As someone who has an unhealthy relationship with food except on the other side since I’m scared of food, it’s shockingly easy to have an awful relationship with food. I’ve been on both sides of the spectrum and both have something to do with wanting some form of control in your life. I also just think that she is a picky eater, much like the palate of a child.

I have IBS and my diet is the same. I also am anemic due to diet. I totally get it Mrs. Beard same with Haribo I love the ones with the marshmallow on the bottom.
