Have you ever thought of skiving the leather straps under the instep? Do you think that would cause them to be weak? Great work, and enjoyed the video.

Mike McKnight I always say try it out! If it doesn't work, you'll figure it out. I have never considered doing that, but an interesting idea.

Stitching the thong to the center strap is difficult and cumbersome. Have you considered using a single copper rivet?

I would do it the same way, but add leather instead if a rubber sole
