    Kash really knows where value is. That area is still undervalued, because of all the amenities around.

      BINGO.
      I've missed these markets before in my younger years. Not missing it this time. Lol.
      Painting / SD / DR is all going to take off with global demand for the country spiking as it moves from developing to developed country in coming years. Middles class growth drives world economies. That's what we have here. Declining in USA Canada and taking off here. Also there is enormous wealth here allowing business owners to push forward and create more and more jobs. Less red take and reg. Easier to do business and create wealth.
      Thanks for comment

    Have you heard of the Alma Rosa neighborhood in Santo Domingo Este? It is also up and coming with beautiful highrises. Look up the "Gran Merlot Alma Rosa" as a great example.

      I don't know of it. Most my focus is in Piantini area. As I feel it's really well suited to north Americans and I think the world trade towers is bringing a lot of growth here but I am going to check this out right now thanks for the recommendation!

      Yes if you love the city living
      Then what a life here guys
      I can't say enough about how amazing it is and the cost of living relative to another major city in North America are pennies relatively speaking

    Thank you Kash for this video. DR is safer than a lot of countries right at this moment and it’s growing so quickly.

      100% correct. I feel much safer here then in the windsor I would say that.
      Did you hear this new nonsense that home invaders can enter homes and have no recourse in Canada and the family can't defend themselves...wth. Yes. DR. All day long.

    What's your view about Piantini and Bella Vista as retirement locations for Americans and Canadians without a car? And how vulnerable is the area to hurricanes?

    • @iLoveLasTerrenas
      @iLoveLasTerrenas  10 днів тому

      I love Piantini. Tbh I don't know belle Vista that well. There you need a car more I feel. But a car isn't needed. Uber is safe and I use it all the time. You can walk a lot too. Be aware of surroundings but same as any big city. Dont be flashy _ but anywhere - if you are flashy be aware. But totally don't need a car if you work and live in the city. If you retire there you're golden. Uber is dirt duitt cheap. About 4 times less for same distance I'd say

      @@iLoveLasTerrenas You mean specifically in Piantini? Any recommendations for a quiet hotel experience near amenities for a first time older couple? And how would you compare that to good neighborhoods in a smaller location like Santiago de los Caballero?

    Plenty of places in the Dominican Republic that are not safe at night time.
    You wanna end up in a ditch with your head cut off don't walk these secluded areas at night.
    P.S. There are plenty of places in any country that are not safe at night time. Use common sense.

      I feel like we are describing a city in the US or Canada. Understand ppl that get into trouble here are looking for it. And they go wrong someone - steal - cheat - get involved in drugs and gambling. Stuff like that. At that point the rule of the streets take over not the law. For viewers here we are like that in general. So while the comment above I feel doesn't make sense and is fear mongering a bit - if you do and venture into activities above ANYWHERE then you should know the results are usually pretty bad. But this is not a DR thing guys. And definitely NOT a Piantini thing at all. I can't much mire then show you guys in a video that what I am saying is true.

    Yes, we are not a perfect country by any means, but we care about the level of crime so, Dominicans often exaggerate it, which is an actual good thing because, the day we don't complain about crime, that is the day that it became normalize, such as in Mexico or Venezuela, horrific homicides and business as usual. We have to fix the trash pickup in more marginalize areas and fix the traffic!!! But, please everyone is welcome IF you come to do good and help us grow.

    Kash I don't understand why foreigners always when ever they created n make a video of a different country outside of the USA, they start off by asking is this place safe? Tell what cities in USA is safe Miami, NY, Denver, Philly, ect some of these cities have higher crime rate then DR , without realizing you putting in ppl mind to question is the world outside of the USA safe.

    • @iLoveLasTerrenas
      @iLoveLasTerrenas  Місяць тому +1

      I agree. I get asked this all the time and it's surprises be because the country people are coming from is that usa which is flooded with more mass shooting then anywhere else. The DR has NONE and they always ask is it safe. With time people will understand - I think ppl like me are helping to change the media narrative
