@@CB7Mediahow many hours did this take you? My garage is telling me it took 2 hours to get to the linkage issue and then will take 3 more hours to replace the linkage cable.
I have a 93 cb7 coupe manual transmission that won't go in 3rd gear, it makes a grinding noise when I try to put in 3rd, any idea what could be? I'll appreciate if you could help me , thanks 👍
@@alexbeatty8470 yup that's what I was thinking too, I been skipping it but I miss that 3rd gear, I'm thinking in hopefully finding a used manual transmission and replace it,and rebuild my original transmission.
@@CB7Mediadoes this shift cable work with a 98 civic? i can’t find a shifter cable anywhere and this one in the video looks the closest when looking under the car. i haven’t taken off the shifter column cover to know if the top is identical yet

If the shifter working good but the car won’t go more than 30 miles is it cable or sensor fault?
My accord won’t move at all wondering if this is the issue
I think this is my 00's issue. I wonder if the hard shifting could be caused by stickiness in the actual shifter mechanism under the lever
Maybe it's good to check out everything

Definitely just a blown 3rd gear. Youd have to pull the tranny to replace the gear itself. Or just skip 3rd like everyone else in your situation :>
