The best thing to protect Birkenstock footbed is to apply latex glue. The footbaed is made with cork combined with latex anyway. Latex glue can be had for $1 from a stationery store. Cheap and effective. But this is not easily available in many countries.
Hi, if the crack of my Birkenstock’s is on the cork by the ball and bone of my big toe ( where my foot folds every time I walk), do you think is best to fill in the cracked cork with shoe goo first and then seal it with the cork sealant? Thank you in advance.☺️
