I have a 2020 Beta 200. Best bike for Idaho I have ever ridden. Single track and hard enduro king for a 48 year old washed up A rider. The e start is so powerful I use it to dead engine crawl the bike up stuff I need to dis mount and push up. Been abusing this bike for a while and it has not let me down.
I think this is the perfect bike for Colorado and Utah. I don’t want heavier and larger and more power. I want lighter, smaller and just the right power. Look, at the end of the day, lighter is always going to win and feel more playful. The future is going to be incredible powerful electric Ebikes. Imagine when the lines are blurred so much (already almost are) that we have 100lb electric E bikes that out run the heavier combustion bikes in every terrain. That wins every time. Point is, this bike moves more in that direction of a light and playful bike that can do anything. That’s the direction I’m going in.
lol! you had me laughing when you were talking seriously about a battery powered dirtbike. nobody wants that garbage... never gonna be light enough .. convenient enough.. (to recharge / refuel). this comment made me laugh just like when my mom said that AI has already replicated itself this morning. so funny.. you can't recreate the sound and smell of combustion engine either... again nobody would ever want that shyt that has had the real thing.
They're not there yet but I want one when they are just like I'll want an electric 4x4 once they're truly ready. Not there yet but the advantages will be immense. (still love my ICE dirt bikes and 4x4s)@@mattgohio
The race edition bike is a lot more racier, harder suspension and different power valve given it a harder hitting power-band. I have one and use it for mx and enduro.
Add power with the new STIC Super X carb. Two 200SX curious track riders took a spin on my bike. They both said it was faster than their '98 KX250 and '22 FC350! And that's using the slowest turn G2 throttle cam. On the trail, down low it has the feel of an electric motor. It will blip over logs and ledges from a lug, no clutching. Clutching is greatly reduced.
Hi, I owned a 2021 model ... ended up going in a different direction primarily due to engine response and hp (too low) for my taste. Would like to know how the new 2024 engine stacks up against the previous version with respect to toque and hp. Thanks.
Lots of people overlook the 200 , and even roll their eyes when you say you ride a 200 . If anything they are more exciting to ride than a 300 and almost as capable in enduro . Kind of sorry I sold my little ktm 200
Oh yes, I ride the 2022 RE 200 and it is a crazy fun bike to ride!Though, I was surprised to hear him say that the peak power isn’t any more than a good running 125. Though I guess that makes sense.
I have a question hope someone can help out. So im 6'2" tall and weight about 200lb. Would the 200rr be good for me or is it a little too small? Should I just go for the 250rr or 300rr?
It comes stock with a front 15 tooth up front, change it to a 14 tooth and you will never look back. Makes 2nd gear steep hill climbs a cinch. 1st gear with the the 15 or 14 is hard to get traction, 2nd gear with a 14 has plenty of torque and tons of grip going up hills.
What about TM , Scherko , Yamaha , KTM , Gas Gas , Kayo, Husqvarna. GPX , those are all two stroke companies selling in the US . And off course Beta and Rieju. They all manufacture two strokes in Europe and Japan . Two strokes are very well and alive world wide. Except for lousy California 😂
If you get one of these take care of it don't drop it on its side and loop it and drive it up boulders tweak the Rams spoke Crack the Case mess up the gears

For those of us who fell in love with the KDX200, that was the "go anywhere, do anything bike". Thank you Beta for making the 200RR!

Indeed. Looks great. Otherwise go KTM. Can't go wrong!

I would be interested to hear your thoughts on the 200rr vs the 200rr race edition. Does the RE feel like a racier bike?
The race edition bike is a lot more racier, harder suspension and different power valve given it a harder hitting power-band. I have one and use it for mx and enduro.
I rode this today and loved it. Very light and manuverable. Felt like a perfect single track bike.
Such a fun bike. Wish they made an mx version of this one.
They have the rr race edition which is harder hitting with stiffer suspension.
Thanks for the review, I want to buy and ride this motorcycle!
So many great choices. If its got two wheels, I’ll ride it. Heck, I’ll ride it if its got 1 wheel.
Trading my Sherco 300 for this. 300 on single track, for me, just isn't necessary.

Better than any girlfriend, 🤠 for sure. It's a great, healthy two-$troke distraction 😜
A 125 has to use RPMs and constantly be revving but they do fly and rip around but that piston is flying these have bottom end
Notice towards the end the writer was ripping it like it 125 the advantage is you if you stop you can have torque to take off
Just put a deposit on the Husqvarna te 150 2024 model with the TBI. Can also get one of these, now I'm not sure what to do LOL thoughts?
I’m in the same boat mate, I am thinking 150 but am not sure if it’s got enough torque 😅
@@brycekoenig212 I ended up going with a betta xtrainer 300
@@OdysseyOffroad I’ve gone with the 2025 250 ktm exc 👌🏽 unfortunately the 150 lacks to much bottom end.

I absolutely love Beta. I ride a 300 rr, Best bike ever . Still own 2 KDX 200 s. 👍
Beta makes great bikes. My boy had a 300rr I rode that , talk about low end, that bike pulled.. bikes are great for hard Enduro
When the tester goes up the hill and immediately right turn you see when he shifts dirt fly out good power
Read you guys since Super Hunky was newer.
I would consider buying a new bike if they had a seat on em.
These betas are getting nicer than a gas gas
I remember back in 93, a local dealer was selling a leftover, unused Yamaha WR200 for $2,000! I was too young to afford it then. If only I knew. 😭
I had a 92 wr200, loved it
Hot 🔥Mama
Should i get a 200 or 300rr

Exactly the same
Looks great 👍🏻 I want one!!
I'm hearing that Beta's are junky here lately and quite often.
Don't drive this up Boulders and then abused your investment and crack the radiator
Lots of people overlook the 200 , and even roll their eyes when you say you ride a 200 . If anything they are more exciting to ride than a 300 and almost as capable in enduro . Kind of sorry I sold my little ktm 200
Road and owned Honda 650 L street legal a fun for my loaner bike for friends had a 230 CRF great medium sized bike
A 125 rips on a circle track doing loops and figure eights and full throttle with -125 dominate but they have no bottom end torque
Nice light and nimble what more do you want for fun fun fun
If anyone gets this bike don't abuse the crap out of it and write it up Boulders and stupid ass stuff
Oh yes, I ride the 2022 RE 200 and it is a crazy fun bike to ride!Though, I was surprised to hear him say that the peak power isn’t any more than a good running 125. Though I guess that makes sense.
People abused the crap out of their bikes and it is totally stupid how hard was it to get the money
We don't realize it yet this is probably the baddest bike made..
These smaller bikes are High Rev could use a smaller back sprocket as a test would put a load Force to torque out
In the future I hope to see the test rides change out the sprocket the front could go bigger and the back smaller
I guess I'll have to use a search engine to get more info.
What about the new seat shape and turning radius?
Is this bike has smaller frame that 250 ?
9000 FOR 200 2 SROKE .. SRY not A CHANCE
So they got grandpa to narrate it? Did I hear that right “it’s a 125 punched out to a 190?!”
Gotta win lotto now I need one of these
Beta look amazing
I want this bike so bad

You never mentioned your age what is your age and what is your skill level you probably should get a 300 and not have to rev it constantly
How old are you that's the most important thing
If you're under 40 years old you should get the 300
Don't look at this bike as smaller than a 250 look at it as a super-sized 125 it's way bigger than a 125
I'm young still in 20s.
I'd like the reviews to change the sprocket a couple times and see what happens bigger and smaller
Cool bike..
Is it noticeably smaller than the 300? at 6"1 would it be too small?
Could always run a tall seat?
How would it be compared to a KDX 200 that has an fmf pipe trail porting and head milled ?
It would piss all over an old relic like that lol

Looks like a great bike. But it's made in.......Italy. Are these tough and reliable.
If the back sprocket gets too big it'll act more like a come-along pulley than a bike
If you get one of these take care of it don't drop it on its side and loop it and drive it up boulders tweak the Rams spoke Crack the Case mess up the gears
God did not give you the bike to drive the crankcase and oil pan onto a boulder it's to get out in the forest and enjoy the scenery
That sounds expensive.
