Love my 2023 Beta 300RR. I have had four Yamaha WR 450’s over the last eight years and do a lot of single track. The Beta is so much easier to navigate with than the WR’s. I was discouraged from buying the race edition and I’m glad I went with the standard edition. I have always found the KYB suspension on the WR’s way to stiff for woods work, even on the softest settings. Your observations confirmed this also. Cheers from North Eastern Ontario Canada.
I hear ya. I’ve been checking Beta’s site for the schedule on the demo days. I would like to ride that 300 and that 200. That 200 looks like a good time as well.
@Brian Hardy I'm actually thinking about trading my 300RE for a 200. I had an IT 200 growing up and loved it. I've ridden other 200's, and they're just a ton of fun! According to everyone I've talked to or vids, I've watched the Beta is just a blast and competitive, too.
Beta rarely wins on the technical front, but ride one and you will see what the fuss is all about. They are relentlessly the most FUN bikes you will ever ride. Just absolutely insane ridability.
Can put a plate on the beta and it comes with a 6 month warranty. Plus it doesn't blow up or break down on the 2nd day like the KTMs either! Also they don't change the injection style every year either. Still can't beat a well tuned carb and nothing to fail out in the middle of nowhere!! It's a no brainer for me
Hello, I am a fan of your channel, I need to know if the 300 race 2023 has the same elasticity, (longer 1st and 2nd gear) and low end as the 2024. Thank you very much.
Can anyone comment on whether the rock hard stock seat softens up after a little use? Or do you just need to immediately replace it with an aftermarket seat?
@@bikersoncall yes you can get different springs but as far as what they come with they only come with the outer spring, not the inner like on the standard additions
My only gripe, if it is a carb bike with a mechanical power valve and is so “simple”…… why do they have it priced the same as the latest and greatest fuel injected two stroke technology bikes…. 🙄 should be much cheaper if it doesn’t have all the technology involved.
T but even the fuel injected bikes have slot of issues from the factory and require a new flash, air screw mod, etc. they are cheaper then KTM and have more little features that KTM doesn’t
Why? Just because FI is out doesn't mean it's better. Reliability is carb and carbs run better. I'm a KTM TBI fan but there is nothing better and more reliable than carbs.
@@woodsrider117 true that. I don’t think people realize Beta was founded in 1905, they made their first bike in 1948; the Cervo 48. I believe Honda was founded in 1948, and developed their first bike in 1949; the Honda Dream D. Correct me if I’m wrong!
Two strokes, keep 'em coming!!!

Those race editions are the sexiest bikes out there. They look even better in the showroom than they do on film.
You are 150% correct. Best looking bikes hands down
I absolutely love the Beta's!! I have a 2018 300 RR RE that's awesome to me, but I'd love to throw a leg over the newer ones!

1000000% agree. The color is a part of the reason I bought my Beta RE. I love it. Best looking bikes off the line in my opinion! I love my Beta!

Well Said
Such a gorgeous looking machine!😍😍😍😍
Badly want one of these bikes, one of my dream bikes, Ive ridden my mates one and it feels amazing.
Absolutely cannot compare to a KTM 300 though
2stroke for life
Love my '22 300rr re. Loved my departed '17 300rr re. Kinda have a little KYB shock envy...
What a sweet bike!!
Great bike..
Thoughts on the 23 250 rr race edition?

Ron rocks!
Would this be faster then a 250 2 stroke from Yamaha or kx
I’m just hoping that Ron and company leave boyscout alone for the 10hr. Looked nice and rocky in the vid!
In our town store they have a Beta RR 300 racing with the blue anodized rims, just a dream to Look at . But way to expensive to afford for me 😅😕
I'd love to see that, I prefer rims that aren't
just blacked out, some accent or bare metal
looks so much better to me.
Whoever does the cover music for these videos makes it seem like you are going to be testing new quilting needles.
L9ve the beta, but love the sherco more.

Nope.
No. It definitely does NOT loosen up. It's hard and uncomfortable AF
The race edition’s only come with one powervalve spring
I watched a vid that mentioned $14.00 ea for the
other springs, I think there are 3 springs
something like green yellow red ...shrugs.

Bunun fiyatı ne kadar kaç silindir mesele mesele işte
Can they make the Baffle Any Longer🤦♂️….& Why does an Italian Bike have Japanese Forks ? What happened to Marzocci ? at Least put WP or Ohlins on it😖
U americans calls 450 xcfw dual sport. In europe it is a racebike .... xc line is a honda foldwing in woods
Is it wideratio
Yes

You are trading a ton of upgrades that those other bikes don't have.

Aren't KTM's made in China also. These are made in Italy so manufacturing costs will be higher.
You changed the tires, good move! They suck.
Wow this was a lackluster review. Pretty Low effort if you ask me.
Generic.. This bike is great though.
@@woodsrider117 yeh I’m getting one soon.
Do the Beta 125 next!
It’s 2024 it should be fuel injected

Honda colors!? Why?
It’s not! The red is more neon
Beta was around way longer than Honda

Honda doesn't have a patten on red buddy
lol there are only so many colours 🤦🏼♂️ 😂
