These two bikes and the Yz125x I think are awesome for us single track guys. But I currently fully restored a KDX and know that I dont need any more bike than that.
Nice vid fells, I'm a 21' 500(480) owner over in Australia and really enjoy and appreciate all your dealer/maint/ride videos. Wish all bike dealers were like you, I do 100% my own engine builds to routine maintenance on all my boat's/cars/bikes but I'd certainly be more inclined to leave some of the work with someone like you that's so evidently open/solid to deal with and were close by. Hope Beta appreciates what you're doing for the brand overall :) All the best from across the pacific :)
Good comparison boys. Looking at buying a 2023 te150 and was worried it wouldn’t impress me, but based on this video it looks to be a capable, fun bike.
Solid vid guys, keep up the good work. For me, the opinions offered by capable accredited riders when testing bikes, as in you vid ,provides real value when assessing the options available..
Nice research! That could very well be the case, keep in mind these bikes in the video were full of fuel/ oil/ coolant so when the manufactures weigh bikes it's always confusing as to how they are actually measuring it! Enjoy the ride, Jared
So if I can share some knowledge. My 21 200 has same forks I do believe as the 22. Took mine to the suspension guy I use. Two flaws that exist and need addressed, and I recommend you do this is 1) go up in fork rate to .46 and machine the spring perches down to get 4 mm preload. Mine had ungoddly 13 mm preload and forks deflected off small thing terribly. 2) the midvalve piston shimming is way too stiff. Lighter shimming on both pistons is needed. I wish you could ride mine side by side with your stock, you would be amazed.
My 19 390 with OC Sachs had the same issue with ridiculous preload. 4mm was also my target, add proper springs and added a little oil, instant change. Needs to be revalved but huge difference for a few hours in the garage. Did my buddies 21 300 and 21 200 the same way.
Thanks for the advise! We have a bunch of accessories including the correct springs for our weight already on the shop table. We will look into the preload as well! Thanks again, Jared
I found it odd that the Dyno vids on Cycle World or whatever on UA-cam has these almost at the same Hp and torque, but listening to the 200 its sounds like it blows away the TE
Good Morning, we do not sell the Husqvarna bikes but we got this in on trade so we shot this video to give some real world experience and differences. I am unfamiliar with the TE250. Enjoy the ride, Jared
Personally, as a Beta dealer I am going to be greedy and happy they are leaving my 200cc machine alone! WE do very well with the Beta 200s! Enjoy the ride, Jared

I wanted this comparison for months.
You can't imagine how happy I am.
Thank you, really.
So awesome, thanks for watching! Enjoy the ride, Jared

Glad you like them! So cool to hear people across the pond are checking out our videos and value our dedication to the bikes! Enjoy the ride, Jared.

Great point! Thanks for taking the time to watch our video! Enjoy the ride, Jared
"Life Behind Bars". Nice. :)
8:17 weighting the bikes, according to their datasheets: the dry weight are: beta 214 lb and the husky 220 lb
Nice research! That could very well be the case, keep in mind these bikes in the video were full of fuel/ oil/ coolant so when the manufactures weigh bikes it's always confusing as to how they are actually measuring it! Enjoy the ride, Jared
very entertaining guys, keep the creativity flowing 😀
Thank you! Will do!
The 200 is the Goldilocks bike, it's a shame that Beta is the only one still making them. I hope to add one to the stable some day.
Thanks for watching! Enjoy the ride and hopefully on a 200 2-stroke down the road! Thanks, Jared
I’m looking to get a 200rr right now. Haven’t owned a bike in over 10 years I think it’s gonna be a perfect bike to get back into trails
Rieju makes 200cc off road bikes. Very capable ones at that

Good information, who did you take your suspension? You have RR model with the Sachs forks?

@@Jimbo-390 i do think it is often overlooked to make sure preload is 4 mm or less.
@@racesla yes the ZF Sachs. I had Mike Boughner who owns Boughner Racing Suspension Tawas Michigan do the magic.
Thanks for the advise! We have a bunch of accessories including the correct springs for our weight already on the shop table. We will look into the preload as well! Thanks again, Jared
Bikes that make everyone feel younger
The magic of a small bore 2-stroke! Thanks for watching and enjoy the ride!
be curious to see the new tbi 150 vs the 200rr the tbi motor is different and has 37hp and also has new suspension and frame
Yes it would! Just need a friend to buy one so I can do a video!
@@3SeasRecreation haha right on. I made this comment because I was contemplating a new 150 TBI , but I ended up going with a beta x trainer 🤘🏻
why why why... did the the KDX200 leave us?
If you were going to get either one as your first bike which would you pick and why?
beta...better all around motor and more responsive brakes
The husky has a tx model if you want stiffer and more gncc style. I know you likely know this
Thanks for the comment! Yep there are more models we just happen to get the Husqvarna in on trade so we shot this video! Enjoy the ride, Jared
Kick start was still standard in '18.
Thanks for the insight Norm! Your old bike is fun to ride!
I found it odd that the Dyno vids on Cycle World or whatever on UA-cam has these almost at the same Hp and torque, but listening to the 200 its sounds like it blows away the TE
The 200 has a way meatier midrange torque curve. Peak numbers are close, but midrange there is no comparison. 200 wins.
What are the main differences between a TE 250 and a 200 RR ?
Good Morning, we do not sell the Husqvarna bikes but we got this in on trade so we shot this video to give some real world experience and differences. I am unfamiliar with the TE250. Enjoy the ride, Jared
200rr 🤩🤩🤩🌳🌲🌳🌲
If only KTM made a 200.
Personally, as a Beta dealer I am going to be greedy and happy they are leaving my 200cc machine alone! WE do very well with the Beta 200s! Enjoy the ride, Jared
Husqvarna is a 3 syllable word. FYI - good vid otherwise!
Thanks for the info! Enjoy the ride!
@@3SeasRecreation Thanks BTW I'd buy the Beta 200!
TE suspension sucks off-road past 2 nd gear ...
Get Beta race ready with KYB suspension front/rear....no Sachs crap
Beta is a horrible name for a bike.
