i have the t8000 pedals, its like the eh500 but with wider platform. Eh500 was too narrow for me

Went for the t8000 and chose it for The large platform as well. Wanted larger ones that clear snow better for winters. Excellent combo for snowy winters as cleats get frozen solid easily If you step on snow. Plus they got reflectors, so great for commuting or transitioning on roads to your mtb or gravel trails in the dark.

Coming from road bikes only, I just purchased my first gravel bike along with the EH500 pedals. I really like them as well, very versatile!! Good video and breakdown of everything

@Tsnor150 Thank you i appreciate you noticing. I try to keep them short and informative at the same time. I'm with you on the windy intro - just get to the info. Not a fan of having to skip the first 2 minutes of a 5 minute vid just to get to the part I need to know

I have the eh4500 and I ride with flat shoes. The issue I have with them is getting them flat side up every time after I take my foot off the pedal. Vast majority of the time, its fine, but there are times when I had to take my first few strokes with a pedal the wrong way up just because I needed to get going very quickly to cross a street or after a foot comes off when riding a rocky trail, etc.

@falcoperegrinus82 yes that is an issue with dual sided pedals and something I've come across on every ride, especially with my new road pedals

My two bikes run SPD-SL and Look Keo cleats. SPL-SL for the Ultegra pedals and the Look style on my Bontrager ones. Never owned a metal cleat but the plastic ones seem to work out well enough.

Not paying $20 for a black pedal but bought 7 pedals that all do the same thing? Just spend the $20 extra. lol.

All the pedals are different as you will find that commuting pedals are different from touring or gravel cycling
