Yonex Astrox 88S Pro vs Astrox 88D Pro Badminton Racket First Look Mini Review

- First look and review of the Yonex Astrox 88S Pro and Astrox 88D Pro badminton rackets launched in 2021 which succeed the Yonex Astrox 88S and Astrox 88D which are used by pros such as Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo and Marcus Fernaldi Gideon. The Astrox 88S Pro and Astrox 88D Pro are the latest badminton racket within Yonex's Astrox head heavy racket range.
There are plenty of changes to the Yonex Astrox 88S Pro compared to its predecessor the Yonex Astrox 88S whilst the Yonex Astrox 88D Pro doesn't look to have changed too much barring new racket frame profile, materials, etc.
The previous generation of Astrox 88S (Skill) and Astrox 88D (Dominate) badminton racket are head heavy badminton racket which provides plenty of power on your smashes whilst retaining mobility and speed around the court.

88S Pro or 88D Pro? Looking for 4u racket, all round in attacking & defensive
I got the 3U Version but it is way too heavy for doubles! Probably a better smash but defense is too slow :( will send back and go for 4U instead

Yeah i really hope so... the 3U was like a hammer in my hand, instantly regretting buying it. I need something just for mens doinles and mixed doubles. I bet the 3U would still be good for singles though, bit certainly not fast enough for doibles flat fast play
