  • Anxiety and depression... something most men don't talk about, myself included. Over the past few months I have made some major changes in my life for the good and it has helped me tremendously. I didn't edit this so bare with me lol.

Hey JJ I know I am late on your video just want you to know that I experienced the same thing. I had anxiety and depression all my life. I also started long walks and it helped.
My face lit up the moment you mentioned being more active in church. Knowing Jesus is the total game changer. We all have the infinite void in our heart that only God can fill. I found that out the hard way when I started filling the void with worldly things.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
    Ecclesiastes 3:11 NIV
Kudos to you and I hope you draw yourself closer to Jesus. He takes away our depression because He gives us peace.
More power to you and God bless you!

Thank you for making this video! The past couple of months I’ve felt too busy to work out and I can feel it in my mental health and having clarity in decisions. This was the reminder I needed to make it a priority again!

Great video JJ. i can relate to a lot you are saying. I used alcohol to deal with PTSD and Anxiety. Many men go through the same thing you are talking about. I stopped drinking 6 months ago. I wished i had stopped so long ago. Looking back, i probably have drank enough for two life times. But after a certain point, i realized i needed to stop for good. For me, anything that could hurt or come between me and my wife and kids, that thing is gone forever. Alcohol is not the answer when dealing with your problems.

I’ve suffered from undiagnosed anxiety and depression for years. It lead to extreme alcohol abuse that nearly ended my life. 14 years ago I finally reached out for help and have learned many ways of dealing with these issues. Needless to say my life has turned around for the better. Thank you for talking about this

JJ thank you for making this video I myself have been suffering with anxiety and depression since we lost our daughter. I'm on mild medication for it but I noticed too that if I do physical activity like running walking even just working on my garden and food plots helps the mind. I'm the type of person as well I'd likes to change things up a little bit in life and one thing that I've learned is it's your life you do what makes you happy and your family happy. God bless my friend and stick with it. The journey of life is full of opportunities good and bad but it's the good that will help you to the bad opportunities.

@@awoog1283 and Thomas Limbach sent some prayers up for you brothers. I hate that you’ve gone through that. God surely works in mysterious ways. I prayed he would give you some peace and comfort. I’ve never lost a child, or have one, but I could imagine that’s most likely the hardest thing a person could go through.

Hey JJ…new subscriber here I had just got the cash app and googled buying stock on cash app and found your 1st video on this topic I found interesting so I subscribed and I see this video on anxiety is your latest. Wow thanks for your input on anxiety/depression as well. I’m 53 and have been suffering the same for as long as I can remember and I’ve done and I’m doing everything you mentioned and you are absolutely right. Before I stopped drinking I was in and out of the hospital for what I thought was heart attacks but was dismissed as panic attacks well my last E.R. visit I thought was the usual panic attack but no this time it was a major heart attack…well I’ve dealt with hypertension for some time and didn’t realize that the two were connected but they are for at least with me anyways. Now my blood pressure is down from the meds, exercise, the good food no alcohol diet and yes of course Jesus Christ reading His Word and church. I am anxiety/depression free! Thought I’d add maybe something here about the blood pressure connection with anxiety and depression. Im looking forward to your videos so thanks and God bless!

JJ I also found an incredible life coach later in life and he helped me tremendously. He even tried to recruit me to work for him as I got back to fighting shape. I probably spent 10k in a little over a year but it was well worth it. Several years later I looked him up and couldn't find him. I worked with a couple others but there was no comparison so I just coached myself.

Thank you JJ. I basically have no finger nails due to anxiety. I drink one tall fat boy 7 days a week for about 30 years straight . If I have to wake up with an alarm in am I won’t be able to sleep all night. I am a mess. I been thinking about running for years, I live near the beach so I have the perfect spot. I am to go for it while I am breathing. So yes, your video did help.

I typed a huge message out. Wouldn’t let me share. I talked about deliverance and my testimony. Those issues your dealing with could be spiritual issues.. demons. Had it all explained but think key words block my messages.. anyways I went through everything you are now. Your being changed internally because god is showing you a better life. Your leaning onto your works-that’s why under pressure aniexty is hitting ya. The craving you feel of church is Holy Spirit telling you to go to your prayer closest and build a relationship with Jesus. You should be able to hear his voice dreams-visions-sound.. many ways. Fasting is a huge booster. You need to look up good preachers. Deal with healing, casting out demons, teaching on the Holy Spirit. You need a fresh start on scripture because it’s literally everything. Use it as a foundation and your eyes will open up to a level of knowledge above all soulish men. Spiritual knowledge trumps regular science knowledge as science is the study of gods creation.. Bible is 100% fact when you receive the Holy Spirit he will confirm that to you. Wish I could talk to you personally. I know great preachers. Great places to travel for the family to receive instant faith and truth.

Awesome video. The culture of having to drink to have fun is too much and a lot of people don't know how to unwind without some kind of chemical. I made a rule for myself years ago never to drink if I'm in a bad mood and I never have more than one by myself. My husband doesn't drink at all so it would be really weird to me to get super drunk while he's not drinking at all 😅

Sending up some prayers for you JJ. Any step forward towards the good, no matter how small, makes the world a better place, brother. Just like investing it’s incremental growth. Creating a smaller piece of Heaven instead of Hell in the world will be rewarded, whether or not you believe in God.
