The crazy thing is this conversation was supposed to be Lebron vs KD. But nobody ever saw Curry becoming this generational.

Nobody saw kd going to the warriors either lol
Yeah and then they teamed up…
If KD wasn't teamed up with Steph he will be Ringles😂😂😂 no cap but Steph did it twice without him 🤷🏾
@@Wrrrrrgrrrr I give the first one team credit more than steph. He was able to put up quality starter numbers but they weren't his usual numbers so his "best team ever candidate" team picked up some slack. As for the last one, yeah, all credit to him. He only had 1 bad game in the finals and thry still won it lol.
Agree with Wilbon, the 2010s will be remembered as the LeBron and Steph era just like the 80s were the Bird and Magic era. Many people have Magic over Bird but nobody says the 80s were the Magic (only) era
You have to be joking right
@@declaninc You don’t think the 80s were the Bird and Magic’s decade?

I can agree It was magic and Bird era.
But if you ask me. Bird was Better.

Steph changed the NBA, but even before that change became more radical, Lebron was already at his best and reinvented himself to the point that he is on another level of longevity. That man has God-given talents in longevity that is not gonna be surpassed anytime soon.
Longevity? Yes.

Except for KD gsw won by drafting the right pieces. They won twice without KD they went to the finals 3 times without KD. I just wanted to answer your question and let you know that, Dwade and Bosh was an all star, Kyrie and KLove was an all star, and for the lakers AD is an all star. The warriors core team became an all star together.
@@tentikoyGive Lebron some credit. Wade wasn't in his prime for the second ring and wasn't a superstar anymore. Both Bosh and Love were good however they weren't as good when on the Heat and Cavs (Love espevially is a bit overhyped). AD is also VERY injury prone though that didn't affect 2020.

I'm a celtics fan so clearly not a Lebron supporter but while Curry was great, pheonmenal even, the addition of KD really maade it appear closer than it was. 2012-13 Lebron and 2018 Lebron are simply unmatched in making me fear the opponent. All I'm saying is be consistent. Someone who changes the league and deserves to be in a decade long debate about who the mvp was with Legoat deserves to be in the convo for number one point guard ever.

This team you called will not be a good team if Curry is not there at all. you think Green and Klay can carry this team to Championship year in year out? you think KD can reach finals year in year out? he barely reach Conference finals with Kyrie. and your argument is FMVP and 3 more points? you clearly dont know how GSW plays. you act as if Curry came to GSW in 2009 and the team is already good. they have a bad record thats why they lottery team. believe what you believe. lot of question though from both side i guess.
Bro the only thing I hate about this is that they continuously give Curry the one team kudos as if his teammates weren’t top 25 players in the league. I’d stay with my team too if 4 out of 5 starters are all HOFers and my bench is deeper than the Magic’s roster. Lol
Top 25 sure, but LBJ has consistently had top 5-15 players on his team. That’s a bad point to make. DWade, Bosh, AD, Kyrie, oh and Kevin Love vs KD, Klay, Dray?????? Iggy????? The argument falls apart after KD cuz Klay never been a top 10. Draymond and Iggy never been top 25. Only KD and Klay were ever above top 25 and that’s two teammates only. LBJ always had a top 25 and above with him.
@@angeldominguez2414 not always. If we are talking the last decade, I’ll give you that (Wade, Bosh, Irving and AD). Love in his Minnesota days, for sure top 25 but he was never that in Cleveland. However, with context included, other than Kyrie, all of those players you mentioned were declining in regards to their health. Golden State 2 years before and with KD were all coming into their prime and stayed up until about 2019. But my real issue with their argument is that Bron had to become LeGM because his GMs weren’t making it happen. It wasn’t until the Lakers that they brought someone in to help him. The Cavs drafted Kyrie and Bron chose to go back. Miami recruited him to go there but everyone will continue saying Bron orchestrated it meaning he had to do it himself and then the Lakers were the same. They brought AD there for him. Didn’t Lebron have to team up with Chris Bosh and Dwade to win his first rings tho?
@bjrowland25 did he add Kobe after losing to Dallas? Plus he was a better team In Cleveland than Miami, who wasn't doing nothing before he came. Right up there with Boston, 60+ wins, Eastern conference finals, a finals appearance, DOLO. He left to a trash team, Miami returned to trash, he continued to take them to 4 straight finals and forced a 73 win team to add a top 3 player or its a 3 peat. In 2018 if they didn't have KD, he would've swept them by him self.
Warriors won with players they drafted. Lebron won by teaming up with other top 5 pick superstars.
@vwerD kd, Dwight, Kobe, Rose, dirk all better than wade at the time. Ad was top 5 for a season. Bron just followed the blue print & assembled himself a championship team because Cleveland failed to do so. He's done it successfully 3 times. Let's see someone else do it. Let's see some one take two teams to 8 straight finals. The warriors didn't go 8 straight.
@vwerD & warriors added kd & Demarcus cousins after Bron beat them. They won with who they drafted for the first one with no kyrie or love, and a poor shooting performance from Bron, still took them to 6 & led both teams in every stat, they was talking bout giving him finals mvp. Ty Lue is on record stating the game plan was to double and triple Steph because if he gets going it’s a wrap. That’s why KD has it so much easier in GS. It’s a fact, not an opinion, search it up if you disagree
And it certainly wasn’t 3 years. Curry had a case in both years to win FMVP and I actually thought he was gonna win it in 2018. Either way, it is Steph and Lebrons era. Nobody else has accomplished what they have+ their longevity as winners.
If Kevin Durant DOESN'T go to Golden State, he'd have ZERO Rings! Kevin Durant NEEDED Steph Curry! Steph has 2 Rings WITHOUT KD! KD CAN'T say the same!
@@angeldominguez2414 that’s not a fact, how does KD winning the Finals MVP on GS not prove he’s the best player? Anybody who watches basketball and isn’t a Warriors bandwagon will tell you that KD is and has been consistently the second best player behind LeBron. I’d say easily that he’s the second best scorer of this generation (behind LeBron because LeBron is literally going to have the most points ever). Steph’s a great 3 point shooter, but he’s not one of the best players. And that’s what makes him such a role model in my mind. If we as a community elevate Steph to levels that he simply doesn’t meet, then the “unathletic, short, skinny guard” role model is gone. I think Steph is one of the most influential players ever, and a lot of people have looked to him on how to play the game against people who are way bigger, stronger, or faster than them. Putting him in a comparison with LeBron or KD is just ridiculous to me because he will always lose, and it’s not close. But I don’t think it should be, because what he’s been able to accomplish with being undersized, injury-prone, and a franchise player is really impressive in its own right.
