Man, Wes, please do more old school jams like this, with your tasty licks...PLEASE. I love Alluvial, but, it is really nice to hear this side of your playing, too. Jus thinking out loud...
I can't understand how wes hasn't got far more subscribers, he's one of the cleanest, effortless shredders out there, and his left hand technique is nailed completely, always love watching him play.
This is such a beautiful arrangement of music. Everything from the tone planning, the soulful execution, the balance, it just such a god damn masterpiece man. Cheers.
Dude thanks for reuploading this! I was looking for it a couple days ago and it was nowhere to be found. I was pretty bummed. You're the fucking man Wes!!!!
Marc M. If your ears are ok an your guitar is tuned right it is not that hard to write your own tab of this song. It takes a little time. Just the first run at 1.25 give me some troubles, the second one is revealed by Ben Ellers weekend wankshop.
Oldie enthusiasts will denounce this as slander on the original beauty, but a true artist appreciates the transformative nature Seymour Duncan applies to this classic. A real work of art.
I think he did it justice, but yeah NOTHING is as good as the original. Plus, I believe the lead parts were played using a slide lap steel while the rhythm was an acoustic guitar played by the other brother.
Can you imagine if Wes had been chosen to play guitar for the Pantera tribute instead of Zack Wylde? I’ll always respect Zack don’t get me wrong he does a good job. But cmon Wes in my opinion truly infuses Dimebags playing better than anyone else I’ve ever heard, and dare I say, THEN some. Wes is one of my favorite guitarists I love his playing.

I totally agree
Been looking for this video everywhere. Glad it’s back up
Why was it down?
Mike Dixon it was originally on Keith’s channel, but he probably took it down since he’s no longer with Seymour Duncan
@@CaptnShred He took it down because apparently they had a falling out
Octavian Malcolm Really? I know Keith left Alluvial, but I was under the impression they were still pals
@@CaptnShred no sir, all wes vids are gone from Keith's channel I believe
Wes, Please TAB this out for us mortals. Lol... I saw the Ben Eller video on that crazy sting skipping lick. Would love to learn the whole song.
Glad the videos are on your channel where they should be.
2024❤ still watching 🎉
One of my favourite clips of yours. I had a country/slide blues gig years ago and this was in the set. Wish we could’ve done this version though 😅
Man the tone is insane on this one
Dat finger tone doe. So, so clean.
Was wondering where this gem went
finally found this gem again! was searching for at least 2 years haha.

Thank you, I thought it has been deleted. You`re amazing musician, dude)
I got so stoked when I saw that this was on Wes' channel and then so sad when the description didn't have a tab link 💔
If you need the transcription of the note skipping lick, look for it on Ben Ellers channel
The song gives me chills
CHOO CHOO It's me. I'm on my monthly pilgrimage to this video to remind myself how this song and Wes are amazing 👽

Better than the satriani Version
Sounds ok, for a Schecter.
