I was suffering immensely from depersonalisation/derealisation as a symptom of anxiety around the time P4 came out. It made me utterly miserable and suicidal. I’ve never connected with a lyric more than “the warmth that reflects let’s me know I’m still alive”. I listened to that album most days for months, and I’m happy to say I’m in a better place now. Hearing my musical idols tell me I was going to be okay was a huge help. Thank you for everything you do ❤️

Mark has been my inspiration and favorite overall guitarist for the last 6 or so years. He's absolutely brilliant when it comes to writing "metal" guitar among other things. He takes a unique and fresh approach to writing and it's videos like these that make me pickup my guitar and want to be better.

Well in prog music, Marks sound can be called one of the main influences for different bands. A lot of people write riffs like him. His style is big chords and fast runs between them. Olly Steele and John Browne right almost like him.
One of the best songs on the album and, probably, one of the most technical Periphery ever did. Great playthrough, Mark! I wonder how you could switch between that difficult chords and playing so clear, without any noises!
This song is still such a pain in the ass to get right... I pretty much have it all memorized and I can play it well... But it's so damn hard to keep time and keep up in general. Been working on it for months, almost have it! What a masterpiece

I have marigold, scarlet, have a blast, omega, buttersnips, sentient glow, and a couple others down so far... Not complete, but I'm working my way through them. I love mine, and seeing Mark play it so much makes me feel like it’s a really solid instrument and not just a budget signature.
I agree however I have a horrible time with string buzz above the 12th fret and intonation of the low E, But the neck/ frets/pickups are all amazing.
My roommate and I both have one and use it daily :) the alpha/omega set just sings so beautifully in that guitar
