  • Being so low, it is imperative the suspension and associated parts are in safe condition. I was pretty sure the tie rods needed to be changed, however I found that the lower control arms were pretty shot. I hope this video helps if you need to change yours!

Well done, I did this on my R129 last year also with a new steering damper, well worth it. I was cringing when you were tightening up the ball joint separator as mine broke and I replaced it with what the Americans call a 'pickle fork'. Good work. I look forward to seeing what you do with the LCA bushes as this is a job for me this summer.

I’m hoping it’ll make the steering less “volatile” 😂 Yes that’s the worse part of the job, especially when it just would pop. The LCA are more of a job but I’ll do my best, thanks for watching! 🙂

Where did you get the parts from and did you feel the difference?

Hello Aammad, I got the parts from AutoDoc I believe - yes, I noticed a massive difference - well worth it.

@@JAYPCARS my steering is all over the place and steering wobbles due to bad alignment. Thinking to do the steering damper and tie rods before sending it for tracking.

@@aammadmustafa5985 I had mine aligned and tracked but still wobbled loads - the steering damper sorted that!
