What I am noticing that seems to be a symptom is the steering is not precise and is even a little bit jerky. I have a Nissan Rogue and it shows the symptoms of a bad tie rod end or maybe bad rod altogether. I had it to a couple of shops and they could not find anything wrong. I am wondering if they even look or just don't even know why they are there in the first place. I have an appointment to get it looked at by the dealer again. This time I mentioned that I must have problems with one or both tie rods. I am going to have them take a look but I am beginning to lean to just having them do them since I am getting to the point I know for sure that is what it is. It is not just an annoying problem that will destroy tires but it is a dangerous one if that end ever breaks loose! I am going to ask the mechanic for the bad part so I can show people I have been telling about it. This is because although they have not driven my vehicle ever they think nothing is wrong with it. I find it impossible for them to believe that without having driven it. If they had to drive it every day or had it as their only vehicle they would not like it. I actually test drove vehicles similar to mine with the same mileage and they still feel new and safe. I test drove those since I wanted to make sure that I was right about something being wrong. This is one of those problems that starts off barely noticeable and slowly gets worse over time and next thing you know the vehicle handles like crap. The dealer has seen me enough to know I am getting tired of this problem. I will just ask them to replace the bad parts and do an alignment. I really don't get how none of 3 shops, one being the dealer could not find my problem unless none of them ever thought of checking the tie rod! I am sure they will see my problem if they look there. I know if it was their own personal vehicle they would have had that bad part changed ASAP the first day there is a sign of a problem. It is just baffling how none of them can seem to notice it! Maybe I was describing my symptoms all wrong and they just could not figure out the problem. The thing is that ALL of the people I took it to see vehicles day after day. You would think that I would go in the waiting room and hear them call me in 5 minutes later to show me the problem. It passed inspection surprisingly. It was not so bad then but still noticeable. I would rather have failed the inspection and had to pay a few hundred dollars than put up with no one finding the problem. It is the most absurd thing ever to me!!
So get this I had everything wrong in the suspension up front. I bought my car used and was aware of the worn parts nothing was in the danger areas they were just making noise. I had bad tire rods making clunking sounds when I turned the wheels sharp bad sway bar bushing and end links that would make a clunking sound over every bump and bad control arms and ball joints that would squeak and clunk. All this made the car sound terrible lol. Talk about almost having everything worn up front and I needed and alignment after all the repairs
Can this push the tire back by 1 inch nd when hitting bumps it comes back to its position. So far I have changed shocks/struts plus lower and upper control arms & sway bar link
I have a 96 Camry with 150,000 miles on it. It currently does not display any of these symptoms. I plan to continue driving it for as long as possible. Should I replace tie rods proactively to ensure the safety of the car? I have a tendency to over-maintain this car but tie rods have not been on the radar as of yet. Thanks
Can you tell me which hub assembly my car requires? I have a 2003 Honda Accord LX, but there are two different ones on O'Reillys' with differences in various measurements. How do I know which to buy? The two are: part 512188 and 512327. Both are Precision. Thanks
05 Chevy trailblazer... Makes one single clunk/pop sound when turning left. But only when turning left. And only when slowing down to make a left at a traffic light or turning in my driveway. What is that?
Not unless you have rear wheel steering. On normal cars, no. Tie rods are only in the front, they are connected to the steering rack(which is what steers your front wheels effortlessly)
Could one symptom be "stuck" steering wheel, when trying to slightly move it, on a highway? I mean, it's not stuck, more like it feels glued when I try to slightly move it, and it needs little bit more effort to move the steering wheel... At stronger movements, no problem. And, the inner part on the tires are more worn than the outer..
I'm experiencing all these symptoms except the uneven tire wear with my car. The tires are still fairly new though, not sure how long it would take for uneven tire wear to become evident.
I only have 1 of the symptoms. The clunking when turning at low speeds. I have none of the other symptoms. Could it still be the tie Rod? Or not likely since I don’t have the other symptoms to go with it?
When I put my car in reverse and make a right turn sometimes my car will clunk and vibrate. Could that be a tie rod? It happens from time to time when I make left turns in drive as well
The symptoms you're describing could potentially indicate an issue with the suspension or steering components of your car. Here is a list of posibilities you would have to look into. -Tie Rods -Control Arm Ball Joints or bushings -Sway Bar Links -CV Joints -Sway Bar Bushings
If the knocking is coming from the engine then no the tie rods are not the problem. If you hear the noise coming from the wheels and the tie rods are in bad shape I would start there!
Do you know that there was a fake Son of God in the Old Testament and he corrupted the entire religion so bad that there had to be a real only begotten Son of God to be your savior from the evil that Solomon created. Ecclesiastes means church or synagogue of Satan, Solomon demand is 666 talents of gold a year and put the people in poverty, the Beast of 666, Song of Solomon is the song of Satan the unrighteous one, the one that was not begotten, the one that was rejected as evil Forever by God. That's what Jesus came to save you from.

Are aftermarket tie rods relaible?

After steering rack repair from. Left side their is clunking noise while pick up and braking. So still I have to chk tie rod?
I can rotate my tie rods to the front and the back a little bit, is that an issue since my other car's tie rod doesn't have this movement?
Can this push the tire back by 1 inch nd when hitting bumps it comes back to its position. So far I have changed shocks/struts plus lower and upper control arms & sway bar link

Always test before replacing. No need to replace the parts if they are good.

Great video just perfect explanation thank you
Do bad ball joints cause these symptoms too?
05 Chevy trailblazer... Makes one single clunk/pop sound when turning left.
But only when turning left. And only when slowing down to make a left at a traffic light or turning in my driveway.
What is that?
Would it be the tie rod when breaking for the first time after you start the car?
Are the tie rods only at the front of the car? Are there no tie rods at the rear of the car?

@@easyautofix Yeah, fair point.
@EasyAutoFix Update: My tie rods were fine, my alignment was out of whack. It's fine now.
My truck s front passenger side just snapped and it basically caved in. Does anyone know approximately what a mechanic would charge for this repair.
I only have 1 of the symptoms. The clunking when turning at low speeds. I have none of the other symptoms. Could it still be the tie Rod? Or not likely since I don’t have the other symptoms to go with it?
Mine is the same way. Started out only doing it sometimes but now it’s every time I turn
@@kevinmock2603so it seems like it gets progressively worse over time. Might have to get ours done. Midas wanted $831. That can’t be right…
I’ve replaced my driver side wheel hub on my Town and Country, but it still sounds like vibrating or grinding when I turn right. Any suggestions?
Ever figure it out?
Can the tie rod cause a loud “clank” when turning sometimes and when I hit some bumps it sounds like hangers tapping?
It could be bad sway bar end links.

One very important question is do you know JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOR?
