Mazda Miata / MX-5 / Roadster NA - 1/24 Tamiya plastic model full build

This is my second plastic scale model build, I always loved the NA MX-5 and had 3 of them the last few years. Please consider subscribing to my channel to support this channel and follow me on my journey and this hobby. I try to get better by each build.
This build I used Tamiya acrylic paints, I’ve learned that for the body of the car I can better use a enamel paint next time, which I will. I had multiple issues during this build. Painting the window rubbers,the window masking and also the amount of fingerprints on the body I couldn’t removed as if the grease on my fingers blended into the paint. The video ended being a howto just should not do it. But I learnt a lot which I will take with me into the next build. The next build will be a Honda CRX which will be painted with MR. Hobby paint and correct thinner.
In the end, I had a lot of fun building this small convertible and that’s what the hobby is al about. I could use your help to get better.

Hoi net de bouw van de challenger en deze mazda gezien. De challenger is een te moeilijke kit om mee te beginnen. Zag er best goed uit voor de eerste auto die je gebouwd hebt. Mijn eerste auto zag er slechter uit. De Tamiya kits zoals de Supra MK4 en de Skylines vallen als het waren in elkaar. Voor de raamrubbers moet je de tijd nemen om die af te plakken. Net als de randen om het raam. Zit er geen raam mask bij.Maak er 1 van afplakband. Ga met een potlood of fineliner langs de ruw kant op het raam.Plak het afplakband en kopieer dat. Daarna uitknippen en weer op het raam plakken,spuiten en klaar. Welke wagen ga je nu bouwen?? Ik ben net met de Merc AMG GT van tamiya begonnen. En als het effe niet lukken wil. Niet gefrustreerd raken. Leg het een paar dagen weg en probeer het opnieuw. Werkt beter. Gr uit Spanje

Hi Jan, bedankt voor je reactie en positieve feedback. Ik heb een Supra kit klaarliggen, ga nu eerst een Honda CR-X bouwen. De tip van de raamranden neem ik zeker mee tijdens de eerstvolgende bouw. De AMG van Tamiya is een hele mooie kit, heel veel succes en ik ben erg benieuwd hoe die zal worden!
