Thanks for the idea! Like for you, the IPA did not work, I tried many times to clean it and the Super Gameboy did not wanted to boot, so I found you video. I used a silver polish and it cleaned up the corrosion to a nice shine, it works now.

Hoi Leuk karretje geworden. Ik heb een vraagje en een tip ineen. Als je toch een airbrush hebt,ik heb een paar dezelfde als jij hebt,net als je compressor.Waarom decant je de primer niet?? Decant wil zeggen,de spuitbus met een rietje in een schone glazen fles spuiten,en dan met de airbrush de body primen, dan krijg je een mooiere dunne primer laag en je kan met een gote spraycan primer minstens 10 body,s doen. De 0.5 naald en nozzle erin en 3 mistlagen primer erover. De spraycap van de spuitbus kun je lang zo goed niet doseren als de airbrush. Dan de kleur erop leggen met de 0.3 naald en nozzle. Dan blijven de details op de body beter zichtbaar. Gewoon 3 mistlagen en 1 iets dikkere laag erop. Het heeft bij mij ook effe geduurd voordat ik het doorhad. Ik bouw op dit moment weinig,te warm in spanje om binnen te zitten. Maar na de hitte ga ik een Revell Porsche 918 Spider bouwen,en die ga ik spuiten met primer,verf en blanke lak uit de automaterialen winkel. Kijken of dat werkt,want de prijzen voor de potjes Tamiya en andere verfmerken lopen de spuigaten uit. Hier in het dorp kan ik alle RAL -kleuren van alle automerken krijgen voor weinig geld. Plastic Primer 1 liter voor €9,- en je hebt maar 10-15 mil nodig voor een body. En voor goede verf tips kijk eens bij Barbatos-Rex op youtube. Die test alle soorten verf met de airbrush van olie,acril tot aan gewone autolak. Ik ben er veel wijzer van geworden. Heb laatst een 1-18 stalen model gerestaureerd en met verdunde nagellak gespoten in een spectaculaire kleur en een goed resultaat.
