Wow, this thing sounds incredible! Thanks for sharing how it is to the world! Toshiba's very few 3.5" drives from the 90's are so interesting... Awesome that it's in perfect shape :)
This drive sounds awesome! I am so happy to hear one for the first time and that you shared this video documenting this drive. Also I am rather curious, where did you find the manufacture date?
@@doomer37 Nice to see the date code! Thanks for sharing that information, I was really wondering how you got that. I love how the PCB is full of chips, looks very nice to look at and is very organized in layout.

I'm the one who sold it to him. As a fellow collector, it makes me happy when others are able to enjoy this stuff to keep our retro computers going.
@@pkhoury1212 Again thank you!!! I really love the thing.

On the other side of the PCB there is a printed date of 4292. (Week 42 of 1992). Matches a lot of other dates on chips of this PCB also.

@@cdos9186 We were both shocked when we first heard it, and it sounds rather stepper like to me : ). Also 35100-00LC died today.
Weird that Toshiba put a hole in this drive
ibm and micropolis are funky ones too.
