You don’t REALLY, if you play a character and understand their playstyle and move set, you’ll know what stats they need. Like, if you know you like to spam your skills for damage on a character, you know you’ll want skill cooldown and skill damage up for overmasteries, etc
Build for every character is almost exactly the same. 4 Damage Cap Sigils, Character Specific Sigils, Crit Rate if you don’t hit 80+, improved dodge, linked together, uplift. There isn’t much build variety due to 4 Damage Cap being necessary due to how low the damage cap is.
Other mentions: improved dodge is 1 sigil slot to get 4 additional dodges and an increased dodge window. During boss overdrives, the 3 dodge limit is a huge handicap. And if you get good at dodging, you can put the precise sigils in for bonuses. Overdrive assassin is a huge bonus to damage during overdrive, letting you knock them out faster. Cascade and quick cooldown are absurd power spikes for characters who rely on their skills. Which is basically everyone.
Another reason reason to use improved dodge is for combo. Some character benefit from using their dodge to cancel animation or reposition during their combo. Improve dodge will help those character to freely use their dodge in combo without being punish for wasting dodges.
@@siegerane 100%. I think break assassin is 200%, but overdrive is so dangerous if I had to pick, I’d pick overdrive assassin to break them out of it faster
Wasn't really brought up, but having auto-revive on NPC companions will (almost) make it so they're never downed and eat up your gauge. I know this vid is more focused on group-play, but it's still worthwhile to have 1 auto-revive on NPC's while solo.
One of the best ones ive seen is War Elemental from the curios box. It makes your attack have element advantage no matter the character. Pretty nice buff
For dps, when you are capped also by the damage treashol sigil , you can add the add damage sigil to proc an extra damage line at every damage tic (not sure about the names in English)
Wee pincer sigil is pretty good too cause it gives 1000 atk at max collection, and war elemental is one of the best sigils too cause weakness element ignores damage cap

Same i noticed my perceivals dps output during link time is absolutely insane. Like much much stronger compared to a chained SBA. Since then, i have always nade sure that i have at least 1 sigil of linked together for every team member and to prioritize link attacks much much more.
Getting decent levels into guts seems to be helpful when we dont quite know what hp thresholds are needed, also when it procs you get to have a maximum efficiency big health potion. Of course with more hp total potions get more value anyway but guts feels like a decent interim.
Might be overlooked, but potion sigil at lvl 15 ensures that you either stay alive a long time or get right back up when downed. This would especcialy be good if your char cant heal itself. You get 3 insta revives and a big load of pots to use. I find it a lot better than guts and autorevive
yeah i run that one too....i love using blue potions to heal my teammates....idc about auto revive at all cause i usually run "immortal" characters who wont die anyway
You don't want any health boosters if you have a Terminus weapon so your build will depend on which weapon you use. Focus on Ascension and Crit Weapons if you want to have more survivability and focus on dps if you're gonna run a Terminus weapon, improved dodge or improved guard will help with those weapons
I have not tested it yet but I am pretty sure the nimble sigils are insane on cpu because they always perfect dodge, the quick cooldown sigil is terrible, cascade is much better . The dodging sigils are underrated the one that gives cd and the one that increase invicibility time pump up your dmg and surviviability by a lot. Another one that is underrated is the one that gives you defense and stout heart when charging, it makes charging characters a lot easier to play .
As others have mentioned, there are rare sigils from the Curios. War elemental, which makes all of your attacks act as if it was an advantageous element, adds extra damage that is separate from the damage cap. You could be hitting 1 mill damage with Io's Stargazer, but you will receive a separate multiplier if the enemy is weak to light damage. That makes the Weakpoint damage sigil really good as well. Also, there is supplementary damage, which can add an extra hit on top of your attacks at 30% of the original damage. There are other rare ones, but these two stand out from the rest.
The damage cap concept seems like it over-complicates things. I’m not sure why the devs chose to include it It might be better if there was some indication of when adding more ATK was pointless becuase you’re already at the cap (other than testing in the training area)
Just a tip but if you see double ! It means you’re way over the crap for dmg, so if you’re capped dmg cap sigils you can most likely remove some other dmg sigil and add something else

I didn't know about the damage cap but still put them too because why not, i don't know the cap but i know it have one. Also for that matter i focus only on the crit rate weapons for my DPS characters, and a tip for those who play offline, i play with a Vaseraga and a Cagliostro or Katalina, for Tank and Sup roles respectively. Its VERY good, my Vaseraga has 20k HP while i only have about 8k (i know it goes way higher later on), he just get agro all the time and never dies. My sups are there just to buff and heal and my 4° character is a "Io" because she have the thunder debuff skills and her damage is NUTS, she gets the MVP from me sometimes
From what I can tell it involves the Atk focused weapon. Once said weapon is 150 and you're in Proud diff, and a weapon hits +75 is when I first saw more on it. It's called Awakening Weapon at the Knick Knack shop
Terminus series. Small chance to drop by completing the final Proud difficulty quest Vs Lv150 Proto Bahamut. Its the best series wep for every char in the game. Increasing dmg cap by 100% and having sigil booster (all sigil lvs +1). Fully awakening it will give off a nice glowing effect.
should I actually upgrade a sigil that I already have or to wait that, maybe, I get another similar sigil more high level? the upgrades cost a lot and "precious" materials
I dont recomend aegis at all once you get any endgame weapon (proud bahamut random drop). You have to stay under 45k hp and you gain 50% damage and 100% damage cap while u are under that hp. So no, no hp, l2dodge/parry xD i dont know the name in english but the one that gives you more dodges and more perfect dodge window is just 1 sigil with 15 points cap and is really good, defently it makes a diference in survavility.
Are the !! at the end of the damage indicating a crit or that you are hitting the damage cap? If the former is there a way to see if you have reached the damage cap?
he's insane, but don't you think that when he's in Dragon Form he's much more strong than in his Godmight form? Maybe I don't see, but in Godmight he has the same abilities and stats like in "normal" form
@@kanetidus nah if you have his sigil he gets a 30 dmg cap to and his god migth gives all skills an increase in dmg also if you your figthing big enemies his combo finisher can hit up to 5 times you also get stout hart and life steal
Yes but it requires 2 sigil slots or a perfect rolled V+. Also gives less % than stamina, it’s still good but stamina is easier to work with and does the same thing better imo

You missed some from the curio chests there is more unique ones that can raise more cap and deal extra attack supplement damage

As someone who played granblue for 4 year i learned the important stats are:
Crit, dmg cap, skill dmg/cap, and attack.
Relink has been my first ever Granblue game, so I still have some things to learn

It means it's a crit and no there isn't besides like maxing certain stats and testing your numbers against dummies

got corrupted save file, any fixes was literally farming proud difficulty REEEEAALLY dont want to start over
Normally, each platform has a cloud save you can recover. So maybe check that and see if there is a early save there for you to use.

It is. These are just suggestions. Stun is pretty strong if you build into it. Mind you this game is closer to monster hunter
Crit is good, it ignores hit zones. Stun is meh imo, you still build link attacks fast without it and part breaking hasn’t been an issue without it.
