Your voice is very easy to understand and listen to, so everything you explain for me to do turns out. Thank you so much. My little Jenna will love this little purse. I just started crocheting October of 2013, and have been going like crazy making all sorts of different things. I love it, but I have gained 20 pds.
hi, bob this video, imspired me to make this bag......long time i have been looking for something prety and small, easy to make it..... i love the small proyet...
I've never seen this stitch before. Going to try this. So many stitch patterns to try. I usually make up my own. My project right now is with multiple stitches, star, she'll, inverted shell, V stitch, but don't know what's next. This is a grocery bag in the round. Oh we call those horse flies. They just hatched around here. I liked spending my time outdoors and they don't bother me but as soon as my husband gets home they arrive and drive him crazy. He trys getting them out of my sheltered place but as soon as one is gone three are back.
Darling bag, Claire! Love the shape, design & colors! Very happy bag! Not too soon to think about Christmas & I have a Granddaughter who would love it :) Thank you so much! Patrice :)
Great bag, going to make 2, one for my 18 month Granddaughter, with an egg in for easter, the other as a makeup bag for my 18 year old granddaughter. Love your tutorials.
Thank you so much for your lovely videos! I actually made myself a very large version hippie bag such as this. I am going to use your pattern to make my nieces some of these smaller ones. I am also on my second Mesh top that you posted. I made the first one for my Mom for her Birthday! Again, thanks for your hard work and patience!
I LOVE this! I'm going to make one for my best friend for her birthday this year :) I can't say enough how much I love your work and tutorials. They're my go-to if I ever find myself needing something new to crochet.
hi there, Yes you can use it, yes it will make it stiff if you use a small hook, if you use a super large hook it wont be, You can line this bag if you like. THe brick stitch does give a thick fabric hope this helps you , sorry for being slow, I have been unwell for 3 weeks
Thnk u for showing such a wonderful crochet bag I made it and I loved it it came out very well I made in a square shape but followed the stitch brick style 😊😊😍
Hello! This is a great video! I'm a fan! Also looking to learn how to crochet small backpacks. Like the kind an adult woman can use instead of carrying a purse. If you could do a video tutorial on that it would be absolutely wonderful! Thank you!
If you look up Beginner Crochet Stitches 23 - Thick crochet Mesh / Brick Stitch you can find a beginner video if you need, also the chucky slouchy beret tutorial shows you a better way to do this in the round where you have almost a flawless change look on rows :)
Hi, sorry for the delay, I have been on vacation for 2 weeks :) WHen you make the base of the bag you will use just the plain double crochet, when you get the base to the size you want, continue with the DC'd with NO increases until you have as many rows as you need Hope this helps
I'm a beginner, and your videos are so understandable 😁 there are so much of your crochet tutorial videos that are so good and easy....and I'm gonna try all of them ☺ thanks a lot ! Love from India 😁😁😁
Hey cool! You used my Thick Mesh Stitch / Brick Stitch I figured out. So glad to see it being used in one of your tutorials I just love this stitch as well. Would have liked a shout out, but it's okay, I still love ya Claire :D
Hi Claire. When you change color, after pulling up a loop and chaining 1 do you consider the the loop you pulled up as a stitch or is it just an anchor for the ch-1 and not even really there?
Question i am trying to crochet straight piece same pattern im having trouble at the end it doesnt fit properly or when turning over. Any suggestions? As well could you tell me if I wanted to use this style of stitching for lets say round poncho how will I add extra stitches to make the thing grow and not lose the pattern.
+Gg Forcedme Hello I am not sure how to do this, I have only ever tried it in the round and not increased with this stitch. There is a video on Meladora's channel for working it flat
Hi, I made this in a smaller version to go with the Cluster Stitch bag that seems to go with it. It was by accident, but I turned the bag inside-out, sewing in ends, and found that I liked the way the stitches looked inside-out, so I kept it that way. I will post the pictures on the Bobwilson123 Facebook page so you can see.
You are a great teacher! Thanks so much. I am looking for a good pair of scissors to clip my yarn and not having any success. Could you give me any suggestions?
hi, you can try amazon, ebay or your local yarn shop. there are also quite a few online yarn stores depending on where you are located. look up yarn snips or thread snips/scissors. knitpicks, deramores, loveknitting
bobwilson123 Hi!, I'm sorry , too, some the easiest things, i have a hard time understanding . When you put my hook into the skipped stitch and do a double crochet, - not seeing the hole i need, clearly . When i assume the proper hole, i do the double stitch it really i guess crowds the row-- example row 1, done- -row 2, got harder for me and pushes the row 1 down and left a hole on top- sorry if im confusing, but im confused myself lol- wish i could let you see it- row 1 looks like knots now.
