G'day Eye on art thank you so much ! Happy crochet ❤ Have you joined our group yet? You can share all of your bobwilson123 projects here. facebook.com/groups/338449986970915/
I'm coming back to my granny square bag yeeeears after starting (I'm here to do the handles now aha) You originally taught me how to crochet, which is now a hobby I share with my mother-in-law - it's brought us so much joy! (We are always sharing our crochet projects with other). Thank you so much!! I would have never learned without your videos ☺
I want to thank you for your videos on UA-cam. I have crocheted for many years but I was stuck just making the same items over and over again. Since watching your videos I have crocheted along and made many of your projects. Once again, Thanks so much.
I made this bag in black and red,my niece loved(SO DID I) so I gave it to her for her birthday.Since then I have made 6 bags, one of these days I will get round to making myself one, will tell people my crochet hooks are on holiday.
I just finished my seventeenth square; and about to put them together for a Christmas gift for my best friend. Super nervous; my first bag. But thankfully I have a FANTASTIC teacher! Thanks again for all the inspiration you give us! Happy Holidays!
thanks I got my granny squares crocheted together just have to make the handles. It's funny that you did the flower squares too. I didn't have enough of the same color as the flower to put them together so i don't have the two tone like you between the squares and the crocheted seam but it still looks cute. I'll post a pic when it's all done.
Thank you so much for doing these videos for us. I've been wanting to make one of these bags, but hadn't taken the time to figure it all out. You've done that for me! Very nice videos and instructions.
Your bag is really beautiful and i like the pattern that you show because i never seen like crocodile scale before thank you so much at less i can learn something from you
This is another beautiful bag, Was thinking to add just a bit of pop to it, to add a D ring for the straps, and maybe some cheap chain on it.. I do love these.. such talent on these bags... Thank You for another positive pattern... Another thing for this bag, is to not attach the handles but make a simple handle out of double chains, so I can tie it on my Mother in Laws Walker, for when she goes out and gets her mail, This bag for her would be a dream for her to have on her walker especially when she goes to the market to pick up a few things...
Clare, You make it easy. You have such imagination with your crochet. I love looking at your patterns, Once in a while... lol.. my light bulb clicks on. I have been looking for something like this, I thought of making her my favorite one that you do. but there is to much give in it, and am afraid it might knock off her balance. This is just big enough and the design of it, it more sturdy with the single crochet join. I am also thinking it would be wide enough that it wouldn't swing and hit her legs as she walks. Yet the top is small enough where things won't fall out easily. I will do them both this weekend, and see which one will be more heavy for her.. Will let you know which one I have decided to use.. Thanks Again.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful talent, you teach so very well your explanations are very clear, making this bag for my daughter.Thank you again, love your work.
Used the Stained Glass Window granny square pattern for the bag and it looks gorgeous.I made it to match a pram blanket. Thanks for the pattern. :) Will also make another bag using patchwork squares. This pattern will run and run. Happy New Year 2013 and keep up the lovely designs ♥ Maureen
Hi thank you so much ! 17 is the smallest I have done, I guess you could make it smaller, i have not tested the therory yet though, I have not lined any of my bags because I am not very good at sewing :( thank you for watching
Hi and thank you so much for uploading this video. It's such a great video, well explained and very easy to understand. I am just a beginner and you are such a great teacher!!! Thank you and keep up the good work!!!
Thank you I have seen the link now :) I was on my phone so never saw it when I first posted the comment. Only 3 more squares to do and the handles and my bag is done. Thank you!
That's how I join granny squares, too, by crocheting 1 long seam joining pair after pair of granny squares, then coming back later and crocheting the cross seams. Haven't yet tried a tote bag, though -- but your design looks the easiest of the granny square bag patterns I've seen.
Thankyou very much for all your project's that I will be able to make,as the Granny Squares are quite easy for me to do.so Christmas present's are sorted,.really think you are a very patient talented lady,Happy Holiday's.😇😇😇
hi there I uses worsted weight and a 5.5 mm hook for the red and black and for the grey and pink i used a 4mm hook and 8ply/DK/spotsweight yarn hope this helps you
I would describe Pretty side as chain edge uppermost. I find sewing squares together, matching stitches back to front then front to back rather than over-stitching, but lovely bags and thanks for sharing :o) And may I say you have beautiful hands and nails!
Hi ! If you are talking about a video I do have the pattern for the square that is used in the bag It is called Lela's flower and I added an extra row of half double crochet around the edge
Awesome tutorial! Thanks for posting. :) I was wondeirng/hoping you could post a tutorial for the same granny square bag only messenger style. That would be great! And I'm sure it would be really popular, too.

How many granny squares should I make/use for a child's sized bag? Thank you for all the time and effort you put into these vids...
