I managed to build something very similar on Xbox without console commands. It’s a little shorter but very similar. I used Stroud eklund for the most part since I was going for the smoother look.

By far my favorite ship build right here. Really love the slow, sturdy, and powerful dreadnaught style ships. It's honestly not too obnoxiously big and not too small for a warship. Keep up the awesome work with all these builds!
Out of every ship I've rebuilt from a UA-cam tutorial...500+ hours in, this ship... is my favorite, course i adjusted it to suit MY thing but..... kept the majority of your design, anyways, perfect ship, spacious, roomy; ONE ladder for the entire ship, love it.
@@altarex1438 it's six console commands that game literally remembers. You press tab, up arrow and enter. How is that annoying? Copy and Paste it into your game. You spent more time typing your sentence than you would entering the commands, sorry that's a fact.
Obviously some people got a hard time to read the whole sentence... looking to understand only what they want to keyboard fight over.... The guy is right, tutorials should be banned if it requires console commands... not everyone got acces to pc. I do, but i agree with these guys. It's an unfair capability from those who can switch between platform.

10:45 for those (and any other Flippable / Contextual) parts. The Flip Glitch is simpler. Literally Red State the part where you want it and Flip it (Z/Y). Once Flipped back into desired orientation, cancel placement (TAB /A??) You to need to place the part first as it doesn't work straight from the menu. Contextual parts are those with more than 1 version. Just cycle through those, if Flipping isn't an option.
NIce design! But yeah, I would hate parts clipping through the bridge of my ships, so I would leave those caps off while doing a variation of that build.
It is an awesome build, however I would have liked or preferred an unmodded build version. Don’t play the game modded. Will have to use the model and figure out how to shorten it.
If youre going over the power limit on engines, or you just dont like having the mobility low, you can use SAL engines on instead of supernovas they have less power cost for more boost.
Your build is awesome. I copied this one verbatim then modified it to suit my hab layout and other structural tastes. It still resembles the base silhouette but I've made it my own and it uses the modded Matilija Aerospace weaponry. I call it Cerberus.
Excellent ship build. No way I'm ever going to build it. Too much effort and the ship I have built myself, while not nearly as cool as yours, is more than sufficient for my endgame needs. I wish it was something that could be imported so I could buy it from a vendor.

Did a build on console where I tried to have the same concept; one main ladder with both hopetech passageways, but kept on running into build limit for max pieces used, do you have the video of this being done on console?
This exact ship is not buildable on Xbox currently. However the idea is abound and one can just use common sense and their own imagination/ preferences to create their own variant.
Stupid question, however very new to shipbuilding. I know where to get the parts but is there a way to get all at one buidling station? Or is that level bound? I cannot find any way out of buying the parts and puting it on an exisiting ship.
So FYI if you do what I did. You thought he was only using a mod to put every ship part under one builder. You start your build and get allllllll the way till 12:41. Then you get a message saying you can’t add anymore ship part. Which for you it’s been 30 ish mins since you started let alone went to find the mod to put all the parts in one place. Now I got to do this all over again. More console commands and mods. Would have been nice if you laid out the Mods and commands I needed in the beginning. Thought this build was a legit one. Still gonna try and build it… at another time because I just wasted too much of my time already.
This is such a Beast i use that as Inspiration/basic setup almost 2. Million credits by now… Not Ready yet just at this State to Safe it in my Bay broooooo this is such a massiv Beast 😂
i tried to build this, because, yes, it is a cool ship... However, i am on Xbox. cannot build more than 40ft long and there is a cap limit on modules you can use with your build (i found out by reaching that limit). I had to lose a few modules and make some changes here and there, but, yeah, a XBox series X variant looks and works great, after the 3rd attempt :) Thanks for the build tips though

Few days late to the party but damn this ship is awesome! You've done some great builds, I still use your F14 Tomcat as my Vanguard fighter, but this is just sick! Great build guide as usual easy to follow. I tweaked a couple things to suit my tastes, I just can't handle interior clipping, especially in the bridge/cockpit. I also shortened it just a tad so it didn't have a floating front gear in Atlantis, but kept the same overall aesthetic. Looking forward to the next build, cheers!
Disappointed. The reason I left my Series X gathering dust to build and play on PC is the removal of limitations. As I watched this video I understood no matter how much I wanted to I was not going to design somebody else idea it's just boring, Lol. I thank you for showing me a nice layout but w/ ship mods like Darkstar and Derreteck available the possibilities for expansion are almost endless. And contrary to some gossip the best cockpit is the Nova Cabot c4 bridge hands down. I toke your idea then went with the Macross theme of what looks like a fighter ship on top and a galactic cruiser underneath and of course guns lots of guns 😂
Hi, friend! I assembled your monster, it was not easy!) There are two problems, how did you install an additional 2 5500 engines??? Gives an error of too many engines. And the second problem is for some reason there are only 4 jobs, but there should be 12!
looks great , I just have a question what level are you to get the habs needed (my player is only 31 and have not seen the brig and all that yet) i ended up modifying the murasame and put in battle stations but as far as the size of the ship it is only 40m a few more meters longer from the original
if you start the build with a Claymore III it will have a brig, 38 power reactor and the best grav drive in the game, then you can always upgrade reactor and other stuff later

could have just put a slim docker at the bottom, not have to do all that extra mass. also as a thought.. those to back pieces that look liek engines, there are engines that are that shape too

Strangely, i built this exactly the same way, amd i cant add the two extra engines. My skills are maxed out, level 4 in every skill in the game. No difference at all whatsoever in the build, but the extra engines are too much power. Cant even add a single engine after the 4 supernovas. Idk whats going on there
Yea, I dont think he's being transparent with some aspects of this build. I was literally just trying to do a similar build with the same engines and It wouldn't let me due to power constraints.
So where / which ship vendor to build this ship? Can this be done on Xbox ? New to this ship building but for parts you have to go to different vendors in different systems. Om pc it’s probly easy with console commands and mods.

This may have been brought up before, but have you tried to use Equipment Plates on top of Habs in conjunction with the drop-down glitch to prevent ladders from spawning? Would that work?

The drop down glitch did not work for every part. There are some parts that just won't work no matter what. Also when on pc using a mouse and keyboard the drop down glitch is a risk PITA to actually get to work. Much much easier on pc to add a line into custom.ini to increase tolerance limit.
The ship looks good but you never say where to find all of these things for the ship located. It was good to watch but I am not going to be able to do all of that I just thought doing my own thing instead.
Why don't you mention where your building the ship? At my outpost I dont have access to the big bridges and things and I see here you have that in yours. Just curious.
you can not have access to all modules in the game, the best is using an outpost with large landing pad, but even that does not have all the parts. It's missing 2x2 and 3x3 modules I think. The only way to get all the part is to make a ship, buy the parts that are sold by a manufacturer and add those to your ship, then fly with that frankensteined version to another vendor that has the other parts and add those, until all parts are added. Then delete the ship in the builder and start building from scratch. Why on Earth Bethesda thought this would be anything else but annoying as hell is beyond me PS. There is a way to access all modules for vendors, but you will need to use mods made by players that alter the game code (these are not illegal, bethesda supports modding but it does take some time to know how to use them)

I was doing it on the Xbox, but unfortunately, it exceeded the module limit, and I don't know if there is any module that allows you to increase the number of components on the ship so far.
Can you build a realistic ship something a full crew would need for long voyages in space away from civilization also brig for bounties. Living area for crew to sleep and have down time but also a mess hall because makes sense for a place for all crew to eat. Battle station and engineering bay so a ship that makes sense for crews to live on long term at times
Fantastic. What mods to build bigger ships? I've had several attempts to build the Aliens movie dropship, but never happy. Would love to see how you do it with drop down glitch. It definitely requires a few extra block space as a Class C ship. Trying to build the missile rack wings is a challenge
Can someone explain how you have access to all the ship components in one shipyard? I have to fly all over the place to buy all the bits, and if I miss one, I can’t duplicate it unless I’m at a star yard that sells it?
You take an existing ship that you have, add the parts for the new ship from each staryard/vendor onto it (it will look a bit strange, but that’s alright), and then once you’re at the last vendor whose parts you need, you disassemble everything to blank canvas, organise your parts as makes sense to you, and build the ship you actually want to end up with, using parts from all the vendors you’d like :) lengthy, but absolutely worth it, and made a tonne easier with those shopping lists at the beginning of build videos.
That article you link in the description that talks about the console commands on Xbox doesn't actually show you how to do it and it's a whole lot of words that don't actually mean anything it's just an article of regurgitated lines that were Rewritten over and over again it doesn't actually tell you how to do it or what to do other than activating something in the settings which doesn't even exist anymore
respectfully, did you even bother to look at the Xbox Console Command link you posted? it reads like AI generated garbage and doesn't actually give any information on how to utilize console commands on xbox (at least not in the way it describes.) also several times it says "here is a list of console commands" and then provides no list, repeatedly
At the time of posting this video it had a full list of the console commands for extending the ship size, yes it looked ai made but I linked it purely for the list which is now not there
Ok so wait how can you override the cod3 for starfeild on xbox? Is there a video on that pls. Also a how will it save the ship you make with tue override code if you have to constantly put the code in to save it and use the ship? I'd love to make a bigger ship on xbox series x but a I have no clue how to override the a restrictions on it. Also to those who say it's only possible with modding not true possible with a code override on xbox but it won't save the code constantly cuase its not a base game code

Yeah I had to cut off the front and back to shorten it up, but it still worked well.

The cross braces aren't hallways though, right? So you'd need to attach them through something else?
They're hallways that just have attachment points like a 1x1 hab does, but they have more mass and 0 hull bonus.

Tried that, but does not work. The ladder is there, but the equipment plate is also there, NOT blocking access, as you can phase right through it.

Don’t use equipment plate. Use top/bottom portholes.

Why on Earth Bethesda thought this would be anything else but annoying as hell is beyond me
PS. There is a way to access all modules for vendors, but you will need to use mods made by players that alter the game code (these are not illegal, bethesda supports modding but it does take some time to know how to use them)
I guess you have a mod that allows building of larger ships. Looks way longer than what’s allowed in the vanilla game.

For whatever reason, I cannot get the Stroud Nose Cap B Fore Top to show, even though I have used it in the past.
I was doing it on the Xbox, but unfortunately, it exceeded the module limit, and I don't know if there is any module that allows you to increase the number of components on the ship so far.
I made this yesterday with more modules than he had as I made it my own. Theres mods that raise the module limit.

Did the whole build only, spent an hour assembling until max components and exceeds length. Fuck I hate wasting time of my Life.
Very nice looking ship but font bother if you are on console, it is past size limit.
Can you build a realistic ship something a full crew would need for long voyages in space away from civilization also brig for bounties. Living area for crew to sleep and have down time but also a mess hall because makes sense for a place for all crew to eat. Battle station and engineering bay so a ship that makes sense for crews to live on long term at times

I've had several attempts to build the Aliens movie dropship, but never happy.

It definitely requires a few extra block space as a Class C ship.

Can someone explain how you have access to all the ship components in one shipyard? I have to fly all over the place to buy all the bits, and if I miss one, I can’t duplicate it unless I’m at a star yard that sells it?
How would you make this on console?
You take an existing ship that you have, add the parts for the new ship from each staryard/vendor onto it (it will look a bit strange, but that’s alright), and then once you’re at the last vendor whose parts you need, you disassemble everything to blank canvas, organise your parts as makes sense to you, and build the ship you actually want to end up with, using parts from all the vendors you’d like :) lengthy, but absolutely worth it, and made a tonne easier with those shopping lists at the beginning of build videos.

That article you link in the description that talks about the console commands on Xbox doesn't actually show you how to do it and it's a whole lot of words that don't actually mean anything it's just an article of regurgitated lines that were Rewritten over and over again it doesn't actually tell you how to do it or what to do other than activating something in the settings which doesn't even exist anymore
Only problem I've run into is running out of module space we need a mod for that on xbox
respectfully, did you even bother to look at the Xbox Console Command link you posted? it reads like AI generated garbage and doesn't actually give any information on how to utilize console commands on xbox (at least not in the way it describes.) also several times it says "here is a list of console commands" and then provides no list, repeatedly
At the time of posting this video it had a full list of the console commands for extending the ship size, yes it looked ai made but I linked it purely for the list which is now not there

Ok so wait how can you override the cod3 for starfeild on xbox? Is there a video on that pls. Also a how will it save the ship you make with tue override code if you have to constantly put the code in to save it and use the ship? I'd love to make a bigger ship on xbox series x but a I have no clue how to override the a restrictions on it. Also to those who say it's only possible with modding not true possible with a code override on xbox but it won't save the code constantly cuase its not a base game code
While building this ship it is showing height, Width or length error how to correct it?

I keep hitting my build limit for too many modules. I'm fine for the size but the module limit is hitting me as i start with the engines.
