"Knowing that I cannot come to it is truth" ... knowing I cannot come to it is truth ... Reality is everything to do with Truth ... reality does not contain Truth but Truth does contain reality ... everything else belongs to actuality which also contains the illusion - Maya, as one of the barriers that stands in my relationship with the reality ... so penetrating everything in actuality through understanding my conditioning, I would end in where ...?
It is a little sad how the Sanskrit expert was constantly interrupted, I have found his points quite valid. His point of not being able to obtain truth as long as you are in reality (maya) is pretty interesting and made me think. You must be an outsider to see things clearly. If we are fragments, then perhaps everyone has a different piece of truth. Perhaps truth, or objective reality, cannot be never obtained alone, we rather should probe eachother to fully understand where truth reside. This reminds me of that story where a god split its being so that it could finally start better discover its nature. Even in its infinite knowledge, it was still unable to fathom itself, to further advance towards truth.
That's just it. While you are in Maya there is only that reality. Once you want to move out of Maya to get to the truth is in fact a conflict and the same movement of Maya, thought and fragmentation. That is why he was stopped. Because the desire to move from Maya to truth is the movement of becoming. Just the same as you say you want to be peaceful through war...As I understand it, where there is Maya there is only the fact of reality, time thought and fragmentation, therefore as long as I am in Maya the illusion of getting rid of illusion is the movement of illusion. Once I come to a stop where I realize there is nothing I can do and realize I am completely irrational, that is where insight comes to be.
The reality which we think we see outside of us, is the reflection of me=the content=confused distorted knowledge of consciousness=maya=illusion=the muddle. We think we are looking outside and we see the reality independent of thought. That's false knowledge.
20:59 31:51 falseness of consciousness is not just wrong information it is running falsely as a reality 43:14 objective reality 54:14 our perception of reality is experience 55:30
For us to have any illusion there ought to be reality outside. Body is a reality but what body grasps in form of images and vibration is an illusion but for body it is reality...! I don't have any other way to put it
One can only guess how this discussion would have proceeded today - with the world in the state is in now. Then, it was in trouble but now the train is off the track, bridge is out and a clear pileup looms ahead.
@j.khrishnamurti is there a book or audio conversation by Khrishnamurti and Bohm that goes into the finer points on the connection between reality, consciousness, and truth? Specifically the distinction between the three.
Best conversations! I've been listening to them for years and they still don't lose their relevance

He was wrong about Maya and Ma roots. K was right it does have the root measure. Also he misspoke calling reality truth by accident.
@@Barbara-wf1zt you have truly listened to what K has to say. This is very well worded.
It is also little sad to know Sanskrit expert didn't know the origin of both words 'Ma' and 'Maya'.
If i were near krishnamurti, I'd just shut up and listen to every word from him.
So reality is what I perceive and truth is that which is

Yes. They should use subjective reality and objective reality.
"Can we do this every weekend?"
"Yeh"
"Good"
"Phew!"

marvelous..
We can also say the map is not the territory, this is what NLP is about
NLP is intersting. But does not negate nor affirm the here and now. So many maps, and so little time.
Can I find this like the text?
I feel JK becomes disturbed when that Sanskrit scholar starts talking! He just cuts him short most of the times.
At exactly the right time. It was spontaneous.

to the Sanskrit expert: you did well, you did very well. They were not at your level of wisdom.
Just read any sastra of hindus, and you'll also be at the same level of so-called wisdom.
