I was at this show! It was a hometown show in Columbus. From my understanding, the bathroom scene and the last scene was filmed at the venue earlier in the day, before the show. During the show, they told the crowd they wanted to film the music video and gave us instructions on what to do. It's really cool being able to go back and watch this. Love the reaction as always!

my opinion is: crying at a concert is like crying at church - nobody should think it's weird, cuz you're there for an emotional connection (one way or another) - so if you are crying that means you were really successful in connecting.

I cried. I cried when I heard Guns for Hands because my son was self harming and depressed. I took him to the show in 2016 when he was starting to get better and I HEARD the lyrics in a different way. I cried frequently. It really is a thing. I've heard it a lot. 😢 You're not alone!

@@staciemoisa4884 thank you. He's doing better. He's 25 now. He, um, self medicates. He was very angry about taking ADD medicine and general teen stuff. Of course I will never know all that was going on- he might not even really understand it all either, as it often is with mental health. The boys music helped me understand him better and helped me identify things in me that had never been let out because my era didn't have "emo" music. It was mosh pits and anger and rebellion but no figuring it out, you know? The boys have been amazing! I got another young fan son who is going with me to the next show in October. We're so excited! Thanks for your nice words.
@@asdband888 Therapy can be so helpful, and I am sending prayers for strength for all of you. A great hockey player named Robin Lehner won the Bill Masterton trophy. He was an NHL player who battled with bipolar disorder and, with therapy, was able to persevere. When he gave his speech, he ended it with the quote, "I'm not ashamed to say I'm mentally ill, but that does not mean I'm mentally weak." That is a quote that my daughter took to heart as she has epilepsy and will need to take medication for the rest of her life. This band also helped her cope with feeling alone in her struggles and depression. You are right -- we are not alone.

This song really is life-changing. You just can't help but sit there in awe of Tyler's lyricism, which has its way of making a home in your brain permanently. There's just no one like them! ❤️
This song is still a highlight of their live shows. The connection with the crowd is real. Definitely schedule a livestream before you go to their concert!!! We would love to join in on your pre-concert excitement!
Most of their songs are metaphors, but Tyler actually did have his car radio stolen when he was in college. He was running late for class and accidentally left his door unlocked. He didn’t have money to replace it, so he was trapped in silence with his thoughts - which was a dangerous place for him to be. The line “I could pull the steering wheel” is a reference to ending it all.
BUT - what I think makes his writing so powerful is even in his darkest moments, he still tries to include hope and encouragement to not give up. I think that’s why I resonate with both TOP and Ren.
You will not be the only one crying!! And you certainly won’t be judged because of it ❤
If anything the emotions we cycle through at TØP concerts bring us closer together

The first time I went to a concert was their last Trench show. I laugh cried almost the entire time. I have been to so many concerts in my life but never one like this!!!! This was completely different!! The fans were so respectful of everyone! White people, black people, Mexicans, Japanese…. Every race was there and everyone loved each other and the show!
All ages too! Young children with their grandparents ❤ First concert for my two grandsons 8 & 10. The 8 yr old got 'so emotional!' His little heart was bursting!
The people next to you will also be crying, no question.

This is the song that started me down the Twenty One Pilots rabbit hole! This is what music has been for me my entire life, and still is. The video shows the power and impact one human being can make. The Clique would do anything for Tyler and Josh, and the mutual respect is once again obvious. I love how the fans bring Tyler (our Car Radio) back onto the stage to perform for us. Love it!
When I lived in Tulsa, any time this song came on over the radio, I’d instantly turn the stereo off!!! Because I cannot stand The Beasty Boys and I seriously thought this was them. I could not stand pop music, rap music, gospel music nor popular radio music. I was against the norm. I am not a sheeple!!! Somehow, I’ll never know, I got ahold of a Twenty One Pilots CD after a bad breakup so one day I put this CD in my home stereo and blasted it so loud that I could not think, I was so angry!! Then this song came on after a few other songs and I could not believe I never gave it a chance. To this day, Twenty One Pilots is the only music I can listen to. And this song is absolutely beautiful!!
Sometimes you find the band when you're supposed to. I discovered this song through an ex-girlfriend when it was new, and I didn't hate it but I wouldn't consider myself a fan so years later when going through a breakup and some life issues I heard the trench album and instantly became a fan

@@gee_zen_marie4012 the more I think about it, the more I think Tyler is Clancy when he shaves his head. I believe he talked about this video being about his anxiety and depression. He shaves his head to be someone else for the fans. When he takes the mask off his hair is long again and there is no crowd to catch him if he falls.

I plan on crying the entire concert too! And I'm taking my kiddo; it's both our first show. This past year has been ROUGH for our family but with the TØP drop it's been a lot of exciting distraction and a means of bonding and expression for the both of us.

I've been to three of their concerts. One was smaller before they really got huge and then the last was so many people and each experience was amazing. You do cry. You lose your voice. And depending on your age you are sore from jumping and dancing all night. 😂 And, don't worry about the people next to you. They will be experiencing it too. Because whether you are a new clique member or an original you are kind. I have anxiety and each concert I went to I felt extremely safe and everyone was so sweet and cared. You make friends and you get to be around other people who share the same love for these two amazingly talented guys. I can't wait to hear about your first twenty one pilots concert experience.

This song live in particular is, for me, a spirit moving experience. We sing the Ooo o o o o oh part in the musical interlude, and it's transcendent. fun fact i just got the lyrics “and now i just sit in silence” along with the still of him towards the end in front of the crowd with his hand up tattooed after about a decade of wanting it. this song/video has been and probably always will be my favorite from them. such a simple concept for a video it’s the emotion in it that got me too

This song is the first listen for a lot of Clique members. This is the song that got me into Twenty One Pilots. I want to say it was the first song I've ever heard, but now that I think back I can remember vaguely watching a music video when I was super young and all I can remember is the cut off torsos (House of Gold) i didn't hear the song I just watched it and was like that's a little weird and then went on with my life. It wasn't until this music video came out that i actually listen to them. I was like they are going places and I want to go with them

I found you today and I have spent hours watching you react to TOP. I loved your reactions. I’m 54 and I love this band. It usually takes something special to catch my attention. My daughter has been a fan from early on but I didn’t really pay attention to them until about 4 years ago. When I tell other people to check out this band this video is the one I always tell them to check out first. Vessel was my favorite album until Clancy! You have only scratched the surface. Their live show is incredible! Can’t wait to see more from you because your reactions make me feel like I’m seeing them for the first time all over again.

This was one of the highlights at the show in Chicago I took my daughter to 5 years ago. Lane Boy, Tees and Ode to Sleep were also special for me. That said, the entire show was incredible.

The presentstion in this song has so many subtleties. My favorite thing overlooked here and most common by reactors.... "Oh look his hairs back." What i've taken from the hints given. He was in the venue and completely loses it on stage. He comes too. Hes outside or in a subway tunnel waiting. he takes the mask off and passes out from exhaustion. I take it as blacking out and coming too. It may be interprettdd differently... But that was the first thought in my mind... His hair grew back, how long has he been unaware of whats going on around him.
