A couple things I think you may have missed: 3:33 when Tyler is sitting on the stairs holding his eyes open he has the red Nico eyes and there are a few different shots of Josh playing drums while there is a bishop hiding all creepy like in the background like at 6:01 and 6:02 and 7:40.

This is my absolute favorite song off of Clancy! I love the lore elements in the video. The hand that reaches out to Tyler at the beginning represents Blurryface/Nico/Tyler's negative thoughts.
My man caught the Bishop robes instantly. If you pay close attention. The red lights are like "bad" memories, there are some rooms with blue lights, but they wont show that. Cause red memories are what's keeping Tyler up. And the Bishops are in red room aswell. There was only 8 robes behind tyler. But the 9th one was behing left side of Josh at 7:02 indicating its one of those "good" bishop Keon i think? who let tyler escape from the submarine on "Saturday" song and then got betray killed for that later at "The outside" for that. Nico is there. He's always there. This is a place where Nico has jurisdiction in real life. Nico is part of Tyler's psyche and I think in part this is blending the lore and real life. It's like he's showing us where Nico lives in his mind, the places he has jurisdiction but as a concept in real life.

I remember reading somewhere that one of Tyler's goals on this album was to bring back the color red, but instead of it being used against him - he would have some ownership over it. That said, Tyler and Josh have been known to lore drop and mislead/tease in interviews before; so it wouldn't surprise me at all if there is much more to it than that - especially in this video where there are some pretty clear references to him being 'seized' by Blurryface like in the Fairly Local video. Tyler did also say that only Overcompensate, Navigating, and (later) Paladin Strait are actual lore videos. But, clearly there are lore references, and probably even implications, being made in non-lore videos like this one.

Dude this video and song perfectly captures the experience I had in Columbus as a young adult. Hats off to Tyler and Joseph for a song and music video that captures the essence of being a millenial that grew up in Columbus trying to find your way and transitioning to adulthood. It’s sort of overwhelming when you lived there and are reminded of the culture there.

Probably my favorite video off of Clancy (pending the release of Paladin Straight) and in the running for top song off the album (though there's quite a few in the running). The 8 bishop robes with the light in the background, a bishop seemingly hiding in the corner behind Josh, the blurring of their faces in shots and just the overall vibe of the song and video. Tyler stated in the live stream that the next video in the lore- taking place after Overcompensate- was Navigating and then Paladin Strait (which doesn't have an official video YET- it premieres early June). As far as whose hand it is at the end of the video: I always interpreted it as being Josh, waking Tyler from his nightmare. Josh's character In the lore is the Torchbearer, and he has the ability to guide those who are lost, so it would make perfect sense. I could very well be wrong, though!
