Sihi appa is a traditional naivedyam dish which is offered to Lord Ganesh. This delicious food is prepared either by using rice or wheat flour. In this video we have shared recipe of appe using wheat flour which do jot require any fermentation unlike appe's prepared from rice. Appa is also called as appe/paddu/appam in other regions of South India.

Very nicely explained. Nice appas Is it possible to measure the grated and ground coconut in your glass and let me know how much it is please? The size of the coconut may vary. I prepare the appas with broken wheat the measurements are all one cup. Instead of using baking soda i use poha and grind the batter with coconut water.

Use at least 1 cup (tightly packed) grated coconut. 1 cup = 250 ml. You can use more quantities of grated coconut as well. As it results in more softer and delicious appe's.
Your way of making batter with coconut water and poha is really interesting. I will try on the upcoming sankashta Hara chaturthi.
