A special favorite dish of Lord Ganesh is Appam. This is a very simple Appam recipe with minimum ingredients. Ingredients used are just rice flour, banana, jaggery and cardamom powder, without using nay grinding tool. Added 1/2 kg of rice flour, 4-5 bananas and 450 grams of jaggery. Simple Appam recipe for Lord Ganesh. Ganesh festival wishes.

We call them as unniappam, one of the common delicacy in Kerala. Most of the temple in south serve thisas peasadam in south Kerala. If your on the way to Tiruneli..a must to have unniappam

Yeah this delicacy called Aappam is the most common among Konkanis, Kannadigas and Tuluvas of Udupi belt in Dakshina Kannada district.
Bhat style Ghee Aapams are a must delicacy in temples in Hebri along with Hollige. Holige and Aapam are the 2 best dishes of Dakshina Kannada district
@@joshuajoshua8417 Holige I think is Puran Poli which is a Maharashrian delicacy originally, I guess. No idea how this item made its way to Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala where it is an integral part of their feast (Sadya). Not from that area, so never got a chance to taste it though. Also Unniappam is not a part of my community's normal fare, Neyyappam another version is.
