We all wait until We've worked out what we're going to do, THEN we all get a turn." [After a minute of debate between the first three party members, with people changing their minds and choosing alternate actions, they get to the fourth and final party member, make one suggestion, and immediately the fighting starts, without any chance to re-think the final party member's action, simply because they're last in line.]

I hope you guys never leave UA-cam. I mean, it's happened so many times before, a great comedy channel, with some great talent and great skits who get really popular and suddenly, they're gone, off to TV or whatever else. Here's hoping you're here serving up amazing content for years to come.
Nice to see Phoenix again. I will always remember her from Baelin's route. You guys did such a great job with that video =)
She is also in a few episodes of Bored as manager Rowan's bratty little niece. Ever since I saw her on Baelin's Route I just think she is so cute and tiny but hugely talented.
This one is great. The only one missing was Ben!! y'all together makes me happy. It's so good to see Britt and Phoenix. Its like having a party and all your favorite people show up.
I think if Ben had been in this one then they would have done the other style of JRPG party travel, where they just crawl inside the leader.
Hes the rival that join midway thru the game
@@Kineth1 like a NORMAL PERSON.
@@Kineth1 There should be a specific pouch or pocket for storing the entire party that one has to equip. Don't question the system!
@@danielharvison7510 I'm sure they all fit in his "prison pocket"
I had a feeling that this had something to do with the new Octopath Traveler game lol. You guys are the true champions of the continent in creating enjoyable sponsored content. Literally the only ads I will actually watch (even if they are for mobile games).
Being sponsored doesn't make it an ad, it is a skit first, a sponsorship second.
I'd love go see a whole new JRPG series from Epic NPC Man and see these characters' stories continue.
But for real, Octopath Traveler and the mobile prequel are actually so good. It's really cool to see you guys make a video about it even if it is sponsored 😂
When you can't tell it's an advert until they thank the sponsor XD Good job guys, that was an enjoyable video.
I can only imagine the outtakes for this skit! I am surprised everyone was able to keep a straight face long enough to film this lol
Congrats on 4 million. I remember you guys way back when and watching this channel grow has been amazing. Much success in the future!
The acting, the efforts you guys you make for your content is absolutely amazing, ngl you guys are very very very underrated 😭🥹
That was bloody MARVELOUS! 🤣. The acting , the setting, the emotions... everything! Just Brilliant content.
Just like the mighty Tusker Raiders, they travel in a line to trick enemies into thinking they have less members than they actually do.
Love how they even got the dumb split main storylines of Octopath Traveler down.... Hope we'll see more of this with the remaining characters. Also if you do more Octopath Traveler vids, I hope you do one that points out how, during a main story quest, all the other main characters just stand back and do nothing.
Don't tell me they are gonna Do every jrpg logic in the future including Xenoblade Chronicles too 🤣
It's dumb from the player perspective, but they are inteded as 8 separated quest where they only team up for travelling from one city to the next. But yeah It's hilarious. :)
There is zero interaction with any of the characters between themselves. For a game with a travelling party of eight, it's so dull and empty.
I heard about that, that's actually the reason I haven't played Octopath Traveler eventhough people say it's very good. I like a good party banter and interactions in these types of RPGs, if it's lacking that I don't know if I'd enjoy it.
'dumb'
Yeah no, poor clueless toxic fool, it's literally the main feature of the game.
I felt like Ben needed to be there to tell Adam how it's LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to travel any other way but in a straight line following the party leader.
i was wondering what was missing. this felt incomplete because Ben wasn't there.
Ben: "Oh no not another one..."
Adam: "Another what?"
Ben: "Another idiot This is OUTRAGEOUS."
Lol because this time its someone entirely different that he has to explain it too.
So accurate xD the audio team deserves a raise : the effects, music and mix were perfect !
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how fearless every actor on this channel is?
You guys always nail it! I swear you never miss! :) I haven’t been having my best week and watching your content (both new and old) is a real comfort zone for me. Appreciate your work and the work of your whole production team; as I’m sure many others do! :D
Love Octopath. Also, this is very much JRPG travel. Good job, lads.
I love this! I think it's been a long time since I thought how weird the party line is. I've been conditioned to just accept it. This was so funny and amazing!
It is really easy to make you laugh then
Rowan: You broke our hearts today Cyrus!
Cyrus: What!?
Could have also shown them all disappearing into one person when traveling! XD
Happy 4 Million Subscribers! Love Britt's staggered walk in particular. Also nice new costumes!
I had one JRPG that the characters had set points around the player that they tried to roughly be in. It seemed more natural when walking in a straight line, but turning tended to look pretty jank. Also, you could just spin around and your party members would just orbit you. It was pretty funny.
whats the game called?
@@janbertguerrero6988 Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online. It's one of the better games from Idea Factory + Compile Heart, but I'd still hesitate to call it a "great" game.
I knew _exactly_ which game they were referencing as soon as they started talking about having their own individual quests they were on. lol
Been following You since the beginning, You really have come a long way, keep it up, You don't know how much a laugh with You helps us go through our day to day.
you could expend on that one, you know how whenever you leave a town you become a giant in the ""overworld"" and you only get regular size again once you get to the next town? or hoe encounters are all the same single monster until you load in the fight arena where that monster split into several different enemies, usually different monsters or not a monster at all?, that could be fun to see as well XD
The cast must have had so much fun making this. I bet they needed 100 takes for each scene because if the laughter 😃 😀 😄
YAY for more Phoenix & Britt... get Ben in and it's a perfect combination of everyone 😁
He would be the main one thinking it's "OUT-Rageous"
"We are walking like a NORMAL team" while eating up a stamina potion
He was busy crawling inside of things and exploding them
And hamish as a villain
Then who is shooting them lol
I know we've all done the "walk around in a square for two minutes" thing trying to trigger random battles to grind for that next level or enough gold to buy the silver sword.
Needed a scene with the rest of the disappearing inside him as well, then popping out to interact. Original FF VII is the most famous example of such hilarity.
0:20 that short and cocky "yes" with a dreamy smile at the end of Rowan's sentence was the cherry on top of the cake
When they spread out I expected them to mention something about battle formation considering how in JRPGs your party is always standing in a line side by side lol
This really nailed JRPGs. Would totally watch a whole series based on JRPG logic.
depends on the jrpg. alot of games has this travel style not just jrpgs. Shining force, and so on.
Always nice to watch these videos right before drifting off to sleep.
I love these videos, thank you guys for making these.
I agree that it's very easy to drift off to sleep, while watching this
2:33 missed opportunity to play fight music, as he just put them into battle formation.
Genius
Well at least Adam can be thankful it wasn't the right trope where the entire party just goes inside the main character's sprite.
Adam didn't just break the game physics
he broke his companions' hearts
You monster! How can you do this?!
There I was, happily rewatching Legend of the Seeker after 10 years. Recognising different supporting actors with friends going "oh he was on hercules, oh he was in the hobbit". And then I yell out "THATS FUCKING ROWAN!" did not know he was in an episode of one of my favourite fantasy shows years ago. Fun surprise when rewatching. My friend now think I'm a little crazy when I yelled that out as well.....
I had the same reaction watching Spartacus! LOL
Absolutely adorable (especially Phoenix; yup, I'm a fan)
Great skit as always guys!
I played a few of these when I was a kid and loved how they kept a nice, tight formation.
I was just about to write that the start pretty much summed up the argument I had with myself when I started Octopath Traveler... and then came the "Octopath Traveler" screen at the end. I also realized that I hadn't read the description.
Perfect!
Looking forward to JRPG combat. That stuff is weird.
"Okay, first we all have to agree on what we're going to do, and then we do it."
"Isn't the cabbage-rabbit going to attack us while we're wasting time talking?"
"No, of course not! We all wait until We've worked out what we're going to do, THEN we all get a turn."
[After a minute of debate between the first three party members, with people changing their minds and choosing alternate actions, they get to the fourth and final party member, make one suggestion, and immediately the fighting starts, without any chance to re-think the final party member's action, simply because they're last in line.]
It should be the final fantasy way
Facing the enemy in there combat stances cooly with the added victory pose
@@agiar2000 I have Golden Sun flashbacks 😂
Turn based combat is weird? How is that Jrpg?
@@BerryBabaBear the vast majority of JRPG are turnbased.
I was expecting it would be that situation where the party surrounds your character for discussion, then all run into your charterer and vanish as you move
The preferred social distance in different cultures:
Finland: 1-2 meter gap
Most countries: Somewhere within arms reach
Italy: Kiss on the cheeks, then some breathing room
JRPGs: *Weird creep breathing down your neck at all times*
Heel to Toe
I really appreciate all the effort you put in here. Great ideas, fantastic costuming, well-performed. Thanks!
4 million subs! Congrats VLDL! You guys have earned it! So very happy to see you guys make it so far, next stop.... 10 million!!!!!
I hope there will be a dedicated series for JRPG logic!!
I love how the option is that, or everyone crawls onto the main characters back so he has to carry everyone.
Phoenix is such an adorable character always :) and Britt looks fantastic, too :)
She's so smol
@@SteveTheWild I wonder what her height is. Probably even smaller than me 🙂
She's not just adorable, she's an amazing actress as well. Her performance in "Baelin's Route" was actually quite stunning. I hope she has an award-winning future.
@@thelionsshare6668 yes, Baelin's Route is my favorite too.
@@OlgaPogozheva By the power of Google, the answer is 1.62m. (or 5'4" if you're into that kinda thing)
Anybody else got Final Fantasy 8 vibes when they kept following the «main» character? Love it! So awesome to see you guys growing!
Just when I thought I couldn't love this channel any more, I keep finding another gem like this.
The costumes are fantastic, guys! I want Britt's hat.
Wonder how often she ran into stuff because that thing seriously impedes her vision
Part of me expected the horizontal lineup to lead to a combat encounter. They were already in formation for it!
Absolute masterpiece. No other words could possibly fit.
Could be worse: They could have merged into him. That can't be comfortable.
The sounds they make, and the music that plays when running... 🤣 perfect
