I saw someone on TikTok do it, and really liked the idea: a journal where you write down the first chapters of your favourite books it's a great way of practicing different handwriting styles and you end up with a journal filled with "samples" of your favourite books that you can return to or give to a friend looking for recommendations
A suggestion if you feel you have nothing to write about in your daily life . Example #1. "I walked down to the mailbox. Nothing but bills. Ho hum" Example #2. Thanks for all the good ideas. Here is another. Keep a journal for each child recording all the funny, interesting, thoughtful, or thought-provoking things they do or say from day one. Present it to the child when they graduate from high school.
My mother did that for me and my sister for our first years. I really loved them when I found out about them! (She didn't give them tk us because she felt guilty that she stopped after her dad died.)
One journal I'm about to start is a research journal. I'm just now finishing up my dissertation, for which I had to keep a lab book. But what we could do with it was quite limited, and I really regret not also keeping a personal bullet journal specifically for my research. Will certainly be using one for my summer research project and PhD. Things to include are: -summary of experiments run/key results/where the data is stored etc -ideas of how to plot data -lists of papers read -paper summaries -advisor meeting plans/notes -gantt charts/timelines -conferences -research publication pipelines I have also found it super helpful to keep a notebook for my assignments in university. A happiness writes 15. a sad writes
One more idea: gaming notebook! I have one for D&D and it's one of my favorites! A fun followup to this would be tips for keeping up with the special notebooks you start that you might not use on a regular basis. 😊
I have a gaming notebook that is an in-game artifact. It's a lot of fun to do a spread or two for the next game, reflecting their time spent "researching and translating" the forgotten tome. :D
@@Syntart OMG, that is so cool! One of my characters is based on the idea that she has a bag of holding *just* for notebooks, I'd love to incorporate that somehow! I'll have to talk to my DM when we get to that campaign.
I'm late to comment on this one, but another idea is a family history journal. Personally, I do genealogy and have started a notebook for research. I really wish I had done that way back when I started. But if you don't actively do genealogy you could start a notebook with all the family information you know, childhood stories, family legends, memories of older family members... It's a great thing to pass on to children or other family members and it's fun to do and look back on.
Another idea is a Bible study journal! I’ve been growing in my spirituality, and it doesn’t just have to apply to one religion. Writing down connections I’ve make in my daily life to my own spirituality has been so helpful. ❤️
I loved this soooo much! I can hardly contain my excitement to try out maaaany of these ideas. I have a journal that I nicked named “letters to quantum”. She’s my best cat buddy and I had to help her go over 🌈 right at the pandemic outset. Somehow, writing to her in a letter the way I used to talk to her has unlocked my stuck words. It feels/sounds a little silly but it’s been such a wonderful therapy journal. It’s the first journal that as I thought about it, I instantly found a pen and just began writing, it wasn’t even a worry about what pen or how to write. (And I have a LOT of options 😹) Sharing in case it helps someone unlock their trapped words. 😻
🥺😭 this isn’t silly at all and I wish I’d thought of this when I lost my childhood dogs. What a beautiful way to work through your grief and pay tribute to your cat buddy ❤️
That is a perfect idea! I’ll do one for each of my 2 little Yorkie’s who have passed. For Duke I have 16 years of excessive photos for Zoe I have 12 years. I’ll get a beautiful journal to hold all of their pics and stories of our travels together and especially the pics of how much Duke loved his Grandma during the 7 years we cared for her. What a fantastic idea for me to have a place for the photos and the stories! Thank You! Dianne… I better get one going for my newest Yorkie Faith.
Love the language notebook! Another idea is a chronic illness journal. I suffer from a chronic illness and it’s nice to have a seperate journal with symptoms, feelings, anything that relates to my illness that I don’t want in my daily journal. That way everything is in one place so I have it ready for drs appointments
What fun and clever ideas!! I would also add a trouble shooting journal for those times we need to figure out how to fix things (electronics, phones, etc) and may forget down the line until it happens again 😅
Don't forget a skincare journal! It's alsoa good way to keep track of before use, after 1 day, after 1 week, after 1 month, and so on because products don't work overnight especially if they're for skinnconcerns. You can use it to keep track of the products you've used, want to use, how often, your skin concerns, your skin type, your skin journey in general, and information such as what your skin needs and skincare ingredients to not mix.
In my my new brain storming notebook I have a list of 23 new ideas for notebooks from your list of 50. This is the best news ever because I now have all these reasons to purchase new notebooks. Thank you 😊
I have a commonplace notebook, which to me are many of the journal ideas you listed combined. I just write in it things or ideas that I want to remember to reference later. Also a I keep spiritual journals, a scripture/prayer journal and a manifestation journal. I am afraid to count the number of journals I have. 🙂
These are all amazing ideas! I have a journal for language (learning Tagalog), caregiver journal for my mother and myself for drs and medicines and stuff, dream journal, tracker journal for specifically yearly things, bujo obviously, swatches washi and markers, passwords, a journal for brainstorming bujo spreads, a quote journal for just quotes I love, and as a regular journal just to let things on my mind out.
Rarely do I subscribe to a channel after seeing one video, but I did a few days ago and I'm so glad I did. Your beautiful aesthetic is so refreshing and inspiring to my day.
Will be doing the therapy, hobby, happiness and music ideas. I'm getting back into therapy and having a journal to go along with it would help so much. Also, having a happiness journal sounds like an amazing idea especially as someone who suffers with their mental health, having somewhere to go that has all the good things that make me happy or will make me happy will help so much. I don't have unused journals at the moment but now i'm going to have more that I'm going to be using
This was just so fun! I’ve just added a lettering journal and another journal for copying a novel so I can practice my growing lettering skills in a long form situation. I love journals and yes, I am addicted too😳🤣🤪💕Thanks for the ideas and the fun!
@@PlantBasedBride Yeah, I got the idea from another UA-camr, who got it from…but, what I’m really looking forward to is how over time, I will have a wonderful record of my improvement that isn’t just pages of A B C D, etc! Also, I created a non dominant hand ( which for me is my left ) journal, because I’m a Libra and I just love Balance! And, let me tell you, there’s a true challenge and a way to learn some humility and compassion for yourself! I have really seen improvement in the last week, so can’t wait till some months go by!! Thanks for the response 💕🤩
Similar to the caregiver journal mentioned already, I have a journal for my cats' health. As my senior cats aged, I needed to track doctors visits and issues. One cat had a lot of health issues, so it expanded so that I could schedule, log his medications, fluid injections, etc. List the foods he could/would eat, track issues with vomiting, notate their weight, and document the blood work levels we needed to track. The vet would send me their info via email so I could look it up anytime, but having it all in the book...readily available was a huge help. And when I take the book with me to the vet visits I can clearly explain their progress, and issues, and remember the things I needed to tell them or ask them.
Your timing is just perfect, i just impulsively bought 6 beautiful notebooks with no idea of what to do with them x) thank you! i would particularily like to try the meal planning notebook, the gift, personality type and music journal :)
I love this video!! I really like the wishlist one. I never know what to say when people want to get me gifts and I'm often at loss as to what to get for my close ones. Will definitely consider starting a dedicated notebook for that! I will definitely come back to this video for ideas in the future :) I actually decided to donate some of my unused, blank notebooks. I had maybe 15 lying around, some of them for 10+ years...So I decided to put them on FB Marketplace for free. A lady drove 60+ km roundtrip to come pick them up and she was so grateful to be able to gift them to her children! Win win :)
Fantastic List Elizabeth! Ones that stood out to me that I know I need to create: a personality type journal, a therapy journal (this was a great idea... I keep forgetting what revelations I have with my therapist), The music Journal with spreads inspired by albums, songs, and artists really got me inspired... I'll have to explore that. I also keep many of the ones you listed but recently I've been dedicating some journals to specific mediums - gouache, ink, Gelli plate printing, and also a specific online workshop like Summer Creative Retreat that has multiple artists doing sessions - a place to put what we are learning but notes as well. Thanks for this video!
Excuse me, you did not need to attack me in the first 30 seconds calling out my notebook hoarding issue 😭 Thank you for these ideas! I've definitely come away with some I want to try! Edited to add (TW: self-harm/suicide): I have a "Reasons to Live" notebook. As someone who struggles with mental health issues, it has been super useful to flip through my reasons to live and remind myself why I belong in this world. It's similar to your Happiness Journal idea but wanted to mention it as it has saved my life more than once
Thank you so much for sharing this! I’m so glad it’s helped you to remember how much you’re loved and how much you belong ❤️ sending all my love your way!
I have a traditional bullet journal, a bullet journal just for tracker, playlists and room to try new things, a reading journal, a work out journal, a brain storm/lists journal and a lyric journal. This video inspired me to start a quote journal. I love journal and hell yeah, I am obsessed with it too
This came just in time as i just bought a new cute notebook 😅 i also have a cat journal. We adopted 2 cats one year ago and i used it to write down everything about keeping cats beforehand. Now i still use it to record special moments or behaviors which is also handy for the vet. I also track their food (one may has an intolerance) and the clicker training 😊
Even before I started bullet journaling this past year, I had an obsession with pretty notebooks. Many are lined. I already have a dream journal and a few diaries. I have sketchbooks for drawing, some for watercolor and one for all art done in my non-dominant hand. I do like some of these. Thanks
I don't have too many (maybe a couple?) totally *unused* notebooks, but I am a serial notebook abandoner! I have a lot of notebooks that I start using for a little bit, and then ditch when the next shiny notebook comes along! 😅
Oo that’s a tough one, too! I feel like it helps me so much to keep my notebooks somewhere I’m likely to notice them to remind me to pick them up and use them ❤️
Ohhhh Ana Luisa is amazing 🤩 love it ! This video is the gift 🎁 that keeps giving! I think I need all these kinds of journals…I have a dozen empty journals on my desk! Thank you 🙏 again! My list : traditional bullet journal, reading 📖 journal, scrapbook, hand lettering/ handwriting, fitness/ wellness/, therapy journal, spiritual journal ( Bible plan, favourite verses, prayer requests, etc); swatching journal. 🥰
A three year doodle a day book. I just started one and each month has a theme. In my b5 book I can get three days for each of the three years to a page. So nine sections per page. And each year you recreate the picture from the same day of the previous year. So you can see how you have improved or style changes. I love your videos. I just started journaling and am totally addicted.
I have a "best of braindump" notebook in which I collect all the notes I want to keep because my braindump notes are usually very messy and 80% of them I will never need again. Currently I have 9 unused notebooks and a lot more with only a few used pages (mostly sketchbooks and travel journals). There are so many good tips, I don't have the time to set them all up 🙈 I guess I'll start with a journal for my Spanish lessons. Next year I will move into another city so a Moving Journal will come soon. Some of the other ideas are already included in my Bullett Journal or will be added there. Thanks for the inspiration 💚
Love these ideas so much! One question: how do you finish them? 😅 I love your journal flipthroughs; I find finishing any notebook an enviable skill. After decades of keeping sketchbooks and diaries I’ve still only finished a few - I keep starting new ones. If it weren’t for Morning Pages (daily journaling) and my bullet journal I’d never finish any. I’m trying to stick to one or two sketchbooks, but they all have different, alluring paper 😆
The most helpful thing for me is to keep them in plain sight/easily accessible so I don’t forget about them! I also sometimes take long breaks from a particular journal/hobby and come back to them when I’m ready and keep going ❤️
I have the mindset that notebooks don’t have expiration dates. They can take years or even decades to finish! And a notebook is done when you say it is done. If there are a few blank pages here and there, but you feel a sense of completion or like you’re at a stopping point for another volume, you can declare it done at any time.
These ideas are so creative! I have so many journals and notebooks and for once in my life, I’m not struggling to fill them up. I do find that having a theme or plan for each one is helpful so I can just grab that notebook when I’m in the mood for that particular type of journaling!
Loved all these great ideas and since I am obsessed with shopping for and owning pretty/cool looking journals I think I am going to start a few you suggested: 1. Nature journal 2. Language learning journal 3. Quotes journal 4. Vocab journal , thanx so much for the great ideas, only have a reading journal but now excited about starting a few others!!
I love all your videos and this one is maybe one of my favorites it's really a life savior ! Also thanks for reminding me about mother's day coming up XD I currently have my bujo tracking everything personnal, a sort of work journal for my internship and recently I started using another one where I journal sometimes, and also brain dump things I need to remember. It's really helpful and journaling makes me so happy I'm so glad I decided to try it. Thank you for this amazing video ^^
I have a gaming notebook for Sims4. So any imporant tasks they have or goals they need to achieve I have written down in the notebook. Helps a lot when having several sims or households to manage and not playing daily or even weekly. You always remember quickly where you left off.
I have gaming journaling useful for farming sims such as Story of seasons Pioneers of Olive Town or Rune Factory 5. To keep track of people 's favourite gifts, seasonal crops, item locations. I keep a list of video games completed. I have several notebooks one for sketching out ideas for projects, doodles, swatching craft supplies like washi tape, paints, clear stamps, etc. A small notebook is useful for shopping lists, note down phone numbers or things to do. It feels good to buy a really nice notebook with decorative cover and use it up. I have limited edition Moleskine blank notebook which I hope to use for decorative journaling but pages are thin. I'm always on search for blank thick page notebook but bricks and mortar shops only have lined. I'm currently into art junk journaling to experiment with layouts and record special events. Most of time I use notebooks for reflective journaling to help with mental health, record insights and plans for future.
I watched this at the perfect time. I have been having very vivid dreams lately, so I think I’m going to try a dream journal. I’m not sure that I’ll analyze the, but I would like to have a record of what the dreams were. I’d also like to start a reading and Audible book journal (wish I’d started this years ago!) and a Scripture journal. I have 3 nice soft-leather that I can use, but I might have to order some new dot-grid journals in different colors for the different journals! Thanks for this video,
Thank you for all of the ideas. I have been thinking of starting a reading journal since new year but I'm not sure yet. I like the idea of a houseplant journal. I could need one too, the only green thing I successfully have been keeping alive is the easiest orchids. I also have had thoughts about dedicate a notebook for budgeting. The jewelry looks so good on you too.
Love this video and the ideas in it! I‘ve got 1, 2, 5, 9, 12, 16, 18, 28, 31 and 47 - oops, that‘s a long list… I‘d need to go and count my empty notebooks to tell you how many I have - not sure, actually. Unfortunately, I bought some lined ones because they had pretty covers in years past even though I don‘t like lines. As for the grid and dot grid ones, I‘m positive I will end up using them up as time goes by.
I have a small notebook for our cat that I keep in her carrier. There I take notes of vet appointments, insurance claims, weight etc. It helped me notice a pattern where our kitty started scratching herself every April, which helped in diagnosing her pollen allergy.
Great ideas! Love the ideas of a hope, nature, fitness, learning, goal, brain dump, music, garden, meals, and happiness notebook. I also like the idea of Bible journaling for a notebook. I am trying to focus on my wellness journey and found some free fitness and health trackers for Ro Budgets here on UA-cam that I could use in a notebook! Thank you!
ohh I love this ideas for sad unused Notebooks ... I think I have currently 7 or 8 ... 😅 I still try to stay in one journal at a time, I always have it within reach if I am out and about 😊
I have many unused notebooks and I got so many great ideas for them in this video! Will be making a gift journal and a moving journal very soon as well as a dream and swatching journal!
Hello from British Columbia Canada 🇨🇦👍👋♥️📖📖📖😂I use quite a few of those swatching, sketch, projects, bujo, reading,..the one glad to have rather than the cards and post-its all over my fridge and white board is the recipe journal, I have many allergies and food restrictions so I document my changes and substitutions to recipes so that I can repeat successes!
I definitely need a collections journal! I have already got a bullet journal, lists journal and reading journal! A brain dump one would also be good, thanks for all the ideas xxx💕
This is amazing! Thank you!! I admit, I have a problem… lol! I currently have 24 unused archer and Olive journals and 6 that I just wrote in for the first time this last week. I really want to do a pen/marker/fineliner swatch journal but I’m getting to ocd about it. Do you have a flip through or yours?
I mostly do this for the 20 or so pages left over in a finished journal, but I also have whole notebooks just of glued in cards, photos, and mementos! Sort of like a less formal scrapbook 😌
Wow! I love this content so much! Thanks for giving us more ideas how to use our notebook stash. Hahaha. I have a lot and I don’t use them so thanks for all these. I might be able to use them and have a license to buy more🤣
I have about 30, so not quite your level, but I used like 8 journals last year alone. I have a To Buy List journal, a gratitude/life journal, two reading journals, and three journals that are my personal library TBR lists. Last year I also had a TV journal. Combined that into my life/gratitude journal. So there years ago I had way more journals than today because I fill them. 😁
I iked the idea of a reflection journal and I was thinking about a slightly different one from your ideas: a lettering font jounal. This video just made me see that my o¡idea was not as new or crazy as I thought. Thank you!
I have 25 unused notebooks but 8 of those are already marked for future use (just haven't gotten round to start on them yet)! I'll have to try happiness journal one day!
I’m going to start a therapy journal and a journal to track my pets health/habits/feeding etc. I have many reptiles and it’s hard keeping track of deworming dates, hibernation dates, feeding dates.
One of the longest videos I've watched fully in a long time and it helped me so much and also I found so much of worthy and i made a password notebook just this night and you said in easier and faster and quicker clear way do that the video is not lengthy thank you and I have so much unused notebook not so much like you guys
I have something I call growth journal where I track my professional journey, tasks that I think I nailed, skills I've gained, future career possibilities I see etc. It really helps to overcome imposter syndrome
Great ideas! I currently have... *runs around the house to count*... 39 (omg) unused notebooks, ahh! I definitely think I'm going to start a therapy journal!
Lol you know the struggle then!! I’ve been wanting to make one for years but I wanted to figure out how to make it perfect. I Think I’m just going to pick a notebook and use the left page to write out the things I want to talk about in a session and the right page to reflect after the session and keep it super simple!
@@PlantBasedBride I sneaked in here to check your comment and am inspired, by using left and right for a different purpose. I too have a therapy journal; I sum up what we talked about and what my "homework" is. And on the day of the next session I sum up how it went / how I've been doing between the sessions so I can tell my therapist about it (I have epilepsy + epilepsy medication + aburn out + C-PTSD so I forget a lot 😅)
I use a bullet journal which is also my diary and reading journal. I have so many sketchbooks, a journal for everything I learn about drawing (perspective, anatomy etc.) and a journal for every story writing advice and all about that. Also I have a journal especially for the story I write in the moment. Movie journal sounds fun. I'll might try that :)
I'm definitely going to try and make an plant journal (always killing my plants) 🪴 😢 and a apartment journal if I'm going to buy new furniture's (which i will be soon) 😍 thank you so much for great tips 💛✨️🌻🌼
Similar to an idea I saw about keeping one for each of your children, you could keep one for pets. Keep track of vet appointments, especially if they’re an older pet, and observations of behaviors that you may want to ask your veterinarian about, grooming, allergies, adoption information/story, and just general memories and photos of your pet. If you have multiple pets you could keep one for each or just keep one journal for all your pets
All great ideas but my two favorites were the worry journal because I'm an Olympic class worrywart, and the t.v. journal. I'm watching three different Star Wars series' right now. I can keep track of what episode I'm at, and what happens in each, in case I want to re watch one.
Thank you for the good journal ideas. The only ones that I have right now are my bullet journal and my sketch book. I think I will try a vision journal and quotes journal.
I have some journaling ideas: ○ a who journal (write down about every person youve had an interaction with, no matter how small; just write observations about them and stuff.) ○A convos journal (write down conversations in text format maybe)

(And I have a LOT of options 😹)
Sharing in case it helps someone unlock their trapped words.
Thank You! Dianne… I better get one going for my newest Yorkie Faith.
wow so many options,, I need to buy more journals to experiment me things
Love the language notebook!
Another idea is a chronic illness journal. I suffer from a chronic illness and it’s nice to have a seperate journal with symptoms, feelings, anything that relates to my illness that I don’t want in my daily journal. That way everything is in one place so I have it ready for drs appointments
What fun and clever ideas!! I would also add a trouble shooting journal for those times we need to figure out how to fix things (electronics, phones, etc) and may forget down the line until it happens again 😅
Omg yes I need this one!!
@@PlantBasedBride haha I know right!!
Thank you 😊
Haha amazing! 😂❤️
Another idea for a notebook is s jobb searching journal, very useful if you are unemployed and applying to multiple places. ☺️
Oh yes! A great idea 🙌
Rarely do I subscribe to a channel after seeing one video, but I did a few days ago and I'm so glad I did. Your beautiful aesthetic is so refreshing and inspiring to my day.
Aw thank you! That’s so kind of you ❤️
Will be doing the therapy, hobby, happiness and music ideas.
Aw thank you! That’s such a great idea for practicing lettering ❤️
Vision journal is a great idea 💡 thank you 😊 👏 going to try beginning of 2023 and do both sketching, doodles, scrapbooking and collage style 🎨
Your timing is just perfect, i just impulsively bought 6 beautiful notebooks with no idea of what to do with them x)
thank you! i would particularily like to try the meal planning notebook, the gift, personality type and music journal :)
Edited to add (TW: self-harm/suicide):
I have a "Reasons to Live" notebook.
I love journal and hell yeah, I am obsessed with it too
Oo awesome collections of journals!
Thank you for all the ideas
Oh that’s a great idea! ❤️❤️
Oooh that’s awesomeee
Even before I started bullet journaling this past year, I had an obsession with pretty notebooks. Many are lined. I already have a dream journal and a few diaries. I have sketchbooks for drawing, some for watercolor and one for all art done in my non-dominant hand. I do like some of these. Thanks
I'll never get used to these types of videos. Sooo inspirational and motivating! I have way too many empty notebooks haha
I don't have too many (maybe a couple?) totally *unused* notebooks, but I am a serial notebook abandoner! I have a lot of notebooks that I start using for a little bit, and then ditch when the next shiny notebook comes along! 😅
Oo that’s a tough one, too! I feel like it helps me so much to keep my notebooks somewhere I’m likely to notice them to remind me to pick them up and use them ❤️
What is your notebook for?
Me: Yes
I just started journaling and am totally addicted.
omg i would love to see this!
@@chelmin88 yeah I kinda threw myself in at the deep end 😆
@@simonewheeler6523 still it must be exciting to have such a project! 🤩
I have a "best of braindump" notebook in which I collect all the notes I want to keep because my braindump notes are usually very messy and 80% of them I will never need again.
Currently I have 9 unused notebooks and a lot more with only a few used pages (mostly sketchbooks and travel journals).
There are so many good tips, I don't have the time to set them all up 🙈
I guess I'll start with a journal for my Spanish lessons. Next year I will move into another city so a Moving Journal will come soon.
Some of the other ideas are already included in my Bullett Journal or will be added there.
Thanks for the inspiration 💚
I thought about a vocabulary journal the other day and you just said it here😊
Over 50 currently waiting to be used.
Currently, in addition to daily planner, I use a faith journal and prayer journal.
@@PlantBasedBride Ooh, I will try that! Thank you!
I do find that having a theme or plan for each one is helpful so I can just grab that notebook when I’m in the mood for that particular type of journaling!
i like keeping a notebook for quotes and lyrics that i hear and love :)
Thankyou!! I have a little notebook and I figured that turning it into a wishlist journal would help me a lot to keep track of what I want to buy ❤️
Aw thank you! I love journaling, too 🥰
Hi Armyyy After one year lol 😂💜
I have a gaming notebook for Sims4. So any imporant tasks they have or goals they need to achieve I have written down in the notebook. Helps a lot when having several sims or households to manage and not playing daily or even weekly. You always remember quickly where you left off.
Oh that's SO fun! I tend to just build in the Sims these days but if I start playing families again I'll need to do this!
Such clever ideas you really got me motivated to fill up all my notebooks ✨
I love your ideas and your videos! Thank you for these ideas! I really appreciate it, it really helped me! -love from India 🇮🇳 ❤
Love this video and the ideas in it! I‘ve got 1, 2, 5, 9, 12, 16, 18, 28, 31 and 47 - oops, that‘s a long list…
I‘d need to go and count my empty notebooks to tell you how many I have - not sure, actually. Unfortunately, I bought some lined ones because they had pretty covers in years past even though I don‘t like lines. As for the grid and dot grid ones, I‘m positive I will end up using them up as time goes by.
Such good suggestions, I will use one of my journals as a projects journal, thank you for the idea!
A doodle journal is an idea, too!
I so needed this video! I just love your style! Thank you 🙏
I have a small notebook for our cat that I keep in her carrier. There I take notes of vet appointments, insurance claims, weight etc. It helped me notice a pattern where our kitty started scratching herself every April, which helped in diagnosing her pollen allergy.
That’s an AMAZING idea! brb starting one for my precious kitties ❤️
Thank you!
I will DEFINITELY be doing the pregnancy/parenthood journal when the time comes. I love the budgeting, moving and house management journals too :D:D
ohh I love this ideas for sad unused Notebooks ...
The ones I’m interested in are
- Colour Swatching
- bird watching journal
Hello from British Columbia Canada
🇨🇦👍👋♥️📖📖📖😂I use quite a few of those swatching, sketch, projects, bujo, reading,..the one glad to have rather than the cards and post-its all over my fridge and white board is the recipe journal, I have many allergies and food restrictions so I document my changes and substitutions to recipes so that I can repeat successes!
There were 5+ related notebooks I wanted to start but didn't had any idea, but thanks to you, you mentioned them!!
Thank you so much🥰🥰
I just started a coffee journal of coffee establishments I’ve been to. I also pick up stickers if they sell them to add to the page.
I had 7 notebooks and thought too much, yet I will do more with the ideas I got with this video, thank you!
I love all these ideas! I have so many notebooks but still want to create new notebooks for different purposes. This video was so helpful!
Oh I’m so glad! ❤️❤️
Wonderful! Thanks 🌼
Great ideas. I like the houseplant and recipe journal. I think I have about 10 unused journals right now.
I loved the home maintenance idea. I may need to set one up now 💜🏠
I’m going to make one when we eventually buy a house, too! ❤️
I mostly do this for the 20 or so pages left over in a finished journal, but I also have whole notebooks just of glued in cards, photos, and mementos! Sort of like a less formal scrapbook 😌
Oh that’s a fun idea!
I have been looking for a video like this for ages! Thank you 🤩
You are so welcome! ❤️
I have one notebook on standby to be my submissions notebook for when I start submitting short stories and trying to find an agent for my novel.
handwriting, astrology and tarot journals would looked so freaking awesome 😱😱💕
Wow! I love this content so much! Thanks for giving us more ideas how to use our notebook stash. Hahaha. I have a lot and I don’t use them so thanks for all these. I might be able to use them and have a license to buy more🤣
A journal for your pets. Track health, Vet appointments, exercise log, treats they like, favorite trips and activities.
My brother (RIP) was fascinated with and tracked homonyms. It was never ending. English is a crazy language.
I’m sorry for your loss ❤️ English is such a strange language!
So many great ideas. I love it. Blessings.
Oh nice! I often buy a notebook with an idea of how to use it and then forget by the time it arrives 😅
That sounds amazing! 🙌
I'm using one for Family Tree things. Like a biography of people in the family and the relation to yourself. Pics, anecdotes, etc for each person.
All great ideas but my two favorites were the worry journal because I'm an Olympic class worrywart, and the t.v. journal. I'm watching three different Star Wars series' right now. I can keep track of what episode I'm at, and what happens in each, in case I want to re watch one.
I lost my father 2 years ago to cancer. I use my journals to write him letters in Heaven.
Thank you for the good journal ideas. The only ones that I have right now are my bullet journal and my sketch book.
I think I will try a vision journal and quotes journal.
Oh have fun! I really want to make a vision journal, too ❤️
I have some journaling ideas:
○ a who journal (write down about every person youve had an interaction with, no matter how small; just write observations about them and stuff.)
○A convos journal (write down conversations in text format maybe)
What a cool video !! I literally wanted this video... I was searching for this since I got a notebook from my father, so thank you for this...
Oh nice! I hope you got some ideas for how to use it 🥰
Still finding notebooks. A common place is one of my favorites.
Thanks for the ideas! I want to give a gardening journal a shot
I’m planning on making one when we eventually buy a house and have some space for a garden ❤️
Oooh I love these ideas!!! I want to give so many of them a go hehe!
Oh good! 🥰
