After scrolling Tymos page and seeing many women just passing it once and going out the door... I wanted it try it. This is my final thought. What did you think?

    I honestly really like it, I can get bigger sections done compared to using a flat iron. I dont use it to get my hair silky straight but it’s pretty close, took me 30 minutes for my whole head

    I bought this & have this color. I LOVE IT! I'll never use a flat iron again! It's so much easier on the hair. Maybe do not use anything on your hair like the instructions say. Use a deep conditioner with a heat protectant in it. My hair is MUCH kinkier than yours, and I blow dry (when hair about 70% dry) & use this. All I needed was one pass, and i had silky hair.

    LADIES LISTEN HEAR....
    so I had braids in my hair & I brought the tymo ring because I seen the ads...So once it came I looked @ the reviews & tutorials so far everyone had something good to say...So I was hype to take my braids out....So I wash & condition my hair along with a deep condition over night because I have color dye hair & yes I blow dry my hair...HONEY LET ME BE THE ONE TO TELL YOU IT HAVE MY HAIR SILKY STRAIGHT & SOFT FAR AS MY ENDS STRAIGHT TOO NOT BRITTLE @ ALL (SHOCK BECAUSE OF THE COLOR)...MY HAIR LOOK LIKE I WENT TO THE SHOP...VERY EASY TO USE I'M IN LOVE BIG TIME❤❤❤❤

    I actually really appreciate this honest review. I just ordered it last night before seeing this so I’m still going to try it but to be honest if I had seen this first, I wouldn’t have wasted my time. I was expecting a one pass and done since thats what the ad’s show on even curlier hair also, a-lot of people are suggesting you blow dry first but I feel like that defeats the purpose of buying something that “cuts your time in half” because that just adds more time...
    I hope it works for me but if it works like in this video I may need to return it.
    Again, thank you for the honest review!

    I think your hair turned out pretty nice. The brush couldn't get to the roots due to the plastic teeth projecting higher than the heating portion. I think this is maybe a good compromise for people who have very sensitive scalps and don't want to endure scalp burns. I hate being burned by a conventional flat iron. so for me I think this might be a good option. Thanks for the review.

    I think the next time you use it, you should braid your hair into 4 sections using minimal products to prevent buildup and the following day you use the TYMO. I've seen people have better results doing this. If you do this method you should do another video!

    • @brittanyhill9106
      @brittanyhill9106 3 роки тому

      Prevent buildup of what..? Can you explain? Don't people just wash their hair, blow dry it with heat protectant and then use this instead of a flat iron?? Or at the very least wash hair, use spray leave in so it's light then twist hair to let air dry then use this with heat protectant? I don't get why one would braid sections for overnight to prevent buildup? Blowouts & silk press are done on freshly washed hair.

      @@brittanyhill9106 it is with the TYMO, its not with a blow dyer so it'll give different results. I have hair similar to hers and I've seen other youtuber test the product out and I've noticed that when they twist or braid it prior, it comes out as it was done with a blow dryer or flat iron. the results are really pretty. and sometimes people have built up because they'd probably leave in too many products like a leave in or multiple serums and sprays and sometimes it weighs the hair down too much depending on the texture and density.

I still do touch ups on my bangs with my regular straightener. (tymo doesn't really cut down on my styling time either)

    I purchased the same exact Tymo Ring. I have 3C hair. I used the it's a 10 Leave In Conditioner and the Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum on Wet hair. I blow dryed my hair (not super straight), because I wanted to see how the Tymo Ring would perform. It took me twenty minutes to do my entire head of hair and I was shocked! It straightened my hair super fast and its lightweight. This product is well worth the money and effort spent. Also the tighter you hold your hair as your running the Tymo Ring through your hair the tension will make your hair even more straight. As they say practice makes perfect. Give it another try. Loved your video BTW!😊

  • @CoffeeQueen90

    That’s the same experience I’ve had using the TYMO straightener curler. I have very curly thick hair too. I’ve used the TYMO straightener curler a few times, on the highest setting with a heat protectant, and the straightened hair is poofy straight not pin straight (which is how I like to straighten my hair). Usually, the TYMO pulls my hair (even though the hair has been brushed and detangled prior to the TYMO straightening curler) and the straightened hair is poofy straight. So I normally have to use a flat iron (regular straightener) to get the hair pin straight. It’s been a while since I’ve used the TYMO due to the painful experience and unsatisfactory results. Since then I’ve stuck to using my regular straightener (flat iron). It doesn’t pull my hair and I get it pin straight.

    So...Is your hair freshly washed? I don't think you said, right? That makes a difference. Temp has to be higher for your texture of hair. It is like a regular flat iron or hot comb, you know? It will def get 'bone straight' too. But main thing is blow dry the hair 1st to get it as straight as possible including roots (also uses less heat from iron) It isn't the Tymo that didn't get your hair straight enough though...It would def be salon quality if you followed those steps

It really doesn't deliver the magic it promises, & on Amazon, it didn't include shipping, so after taxes, & due to the fact that I'm over seas, I was looking to pay over $80! Do not purchase this it is garbage, and I have to pay a postage and shipping fee to return it back to the company they can't even cover the shipping fee after sending items to people that they know don't work. That is what I call horrible business practices.
