Good pedal. Great idea and turns my practice amps into a effects loop equipped beast. Love it. Prince of Tone, Shur Riot, Mad Professor Delay and Spring Reverb and effects loop for 45$ WOW😮
Nice review. One thing: you guys should have opened the pedal. Inside there are two dipswitches, one for more gain/less output v.v, the other one works with the trimpot, shifting the mid/high range. This is a very nice pedal for a ridiculous price. I'm a professional guitarplayer for over 40 years, I had and have lots of stuff, both expensive and affordable, but I still am amazed about how much good stuff you can buy for little money nowadays. Lately I use a Mosky Golden Horse (wich you can buy online for under $25) as a treblebooster on my main board, that consists of mostly more expensive pedals. It's one of the many Klon-clones and it works great. I got me two, because the Silver Horse somehow went dead, probably because of a problem with the power supply. I also have a "affordaboard" that I use for jams, rehearsals, as a spare etc. with only a couple of affordable (what else...? 😄 ) pedals, but I think I'll get me this Mosky SOL918. No patch cables and no Pedaltrain needed. 😉
Thanks for all that, bro. Just wanted to say that I’m thankful there’s still at least one guy out there who will take the time to carefully type his thoughts and share something of value. I’ll be looking inside mine to check that out the day it comes in the mail.
@ hi just now seeing this…I’d say it depends on your goals. If you’re playing live with a band, then you don’t need a noise gate. If your goal is to record, then I’d look at Neural DSP plug-ins which have excellent built in noise gate and all effects.
Ya, well I ain’t got no Eddy stuff at all. So the way I see it, your Eddy stuff is actually pretty fcking good. But I do have the 918 coming in the mail! I hope it comes with Eddy stuff.
Could be. It is a good pedal. Not a fan of the Shur Riot but will the Prince of Tone as a Boost it's ok on this pedal. Good for turning a practice amp into a bigger amp with a effects loop. Brilliant. And for 45$
@@justinbishopmusic I have separate pedals, a stomp xl and the cube sugar. The last one turned to be the less cumbersome to gig, sacrifising tone quality though.

Superb playing!
Thanks for the review, hoping to get one before this year ends 👌
Can u give me the setting of the crazy train thing 😭 it sounds like the solo in no more tears too😃😃
It is amazing
Worths the money, great sounds. Less than $50. Please teach us how to set the amp and fx for the songs like "Highway Star and etc.," Gracious.
I bought that yesterday for 45$ incl. shipping :D
Shur Riot is a modded blues breaker too. Just more gain. Prince of Tone is a blues breaker too modded.
the moment I saw this I placed my order..
so do u think its worth it???
What is the signal chain? Is it
Reverb ⬅️Delay⬅️ OD⬅️DS ???
Some people say
Reverb ⬅️Delay⬅️ DS ⬅️ OD....
I think the first

Ackchyually... the KING OF TONE has 2 adjustable sides. if you only have one, then it's a PRINCE OF TONE.
i love this Dad joke, totally made my day, thank youuu Sir😂
Not a joke. That's what it's called
@@honkeytonkjohnnygumbo1137 wait what?
Nice! Replace that distortion with their great Black Rat and I'm in!
We’re gonna demo that one soon! I’m impressed with Mosky…I keep the Golden horse on my board.
@@justinbishopmusic Its super versatile and definitely can be a fuzz as well!
@@justinbishopmusic hi, is od and dist good even without noise gate/suppressor/reducer?

Nice pedal. Does it have no popping sound when you press the foot switch?
I didn’t notice any. Many times that’s a a static charge problem. If you tap it a few times, it usually will go away.
@@justinbishopmusic alright. thanks!
Can i use it for my bass guitar?
It's voiced for guitar, but the effects should work on bass or any instrument with 1/4" output.

Much of that tone is coming from the valve amp. I say 95%.

hm, not the best sounding pedal out there. The Cube Sugar either but it has at least a cabinet simulator, looper and booster too.
It does a lot of things for the price. Buy yes, I do prefer separate pedals for everything. EHX does great and are inexpensive used.

Seems like Mosky is a Chinese company, so I just ordered one from Aliexpress for about 34 bucks.
They make solid gear
