If you used the Glow Easy Lock, from Adorama this soft box has a third diffuser sewn into it. Also very easy to set up, & use. I just ordered a 2nd one from Adorama.

I hope to one day put out an epic portrait like you have. I have a question on how to engage people to pose for you? What tools do you use? Asking friends sometimes doesn't work. Thanks! Keep up the good work. 👍

Berto Morfin I started out taking photos of myself then family and eventually friends of family. After that I had some sort of portfolio and showed that to other people and models. A portfolio is a must.

I like your style and that you give credit to those that helped out, nice! Have you used the histogram or highlight warnings for judging exposure? I find the cameras LCD is a poor method for an exposure decision since it is a JPEG rendered in camera from the Raw file and not calibrated. Keep posting, love your shots and your BTS.

James Brown I haven't used the highlight warning or histogram before to judge exposure but that's definitely what I should be doing. If someone told me I had to take a shot and couldn't adjust exposure then that's what I'd do. One thing I always do to my cameras is reduce the contrast all the way down. Doesn't affect the shot at all since I shoot raw, but it gives me a flatter image to preview on the LCD. Basically making it close to how the raw file looks.

@@fjhphoto I do the same and set my Picture Control(Nikon) to Flat or Neutral depending on the subject contrast but I'm always watching the histograms as well. Anyway, just another approach. Keep at it as each shoot is an incremental step in the discovery process.

Does a Bowen’s branded lightbox actually fit on an AD600Pro? I’ve seen companies call mounts a “Bowen’s style” mount but you can’t mount a Bowen’s modifier to them. Cheers.

I have got a question that is how about using 2 400 instead of 1 600? Does it make difference if so how? What would you suggest use 1 600 or 2. 400? Or both 600.?

Nice video as usual but too much light power, most likely you could do the same shoot with a AD200 and a speedlight,it was very dark and easy to fill with light. Appreciate your video
