Does rider guide code work for gx3
Why is everyone complaining about these so much?
This is obviously a much needed and great upgrade for GOTRAX. The scooters look amazing, and look like they are made of steel, which is heavier but more durable.
Wait till the full review, and Paul may show you what’s good about these scooters.
Thank you for your review guys!
I'm really looking forward to this review coming out. We shot most of it yesterday and it should be out in about a week. We need to shoot more riding shots. -Paul
no, there’s a reason to complain. Literally there’s so many other scooters on the market that beat this one, so not really worth getting this at all..
@@gatesroyalesuch as?
@@R30BBall literally the splach titan which I own. It’s cheaper and I haven’t had an issue. I bought it once it was released. Also, they have a new version. Basically the same scooter without the offer tires call them makuda and it’s $900.
@@gatesroyalesuch as? Lmao I love when kids make bullshit statements and then run away and don’t back them up lmaooo
Interesting times in the industry right now. Apollo dropping the luxury pro. Niu with the ultra light Air. And now Go Trax w what seems to be a nice bang for your buck dual motor scooter. The future is bright, indeed!
For sure! Thanks for stopping by. -Vosk
The GX series looks great. I have a feeling they will prove very reliable over time.
I open them up and look inside during the review that’s coming out this week. From what I can see, they seem well built. -Paul
I love it when Paul tells us how it is. Fascinating turn for GoTrax - need to interview the people behind it!
Thanks! We're planning to do a podcast with them at some point. -Paul
Just got the gx1 off of gotrax your the only person I seen do a full review and it helped a lot so thank you I previously had a g5 so this is a major upgrade for me
Nice score on the cabinet! Someday you can put a better door on the tool shed. That's more space than a lot of carpenters have, that they haul with them from job to job, in their van, or trailer.
As the price comes down which is pretty inevitable with Gotrax, these scooters will be a pretty good deal. I'm really glad they went with a front swing arm suspension instead of a fork as those are better for scooters. I wonder how pulling in the front wheel closer to the axis of the stem will affect control, it might be more nimble than other swingarm suspensions because the wheelbase is shorter.
I was surprised that they gave us a $100 coupon code to share.

That drift was 🔥🔥 10:00
Not a drift it’s a hand break turn I don’t think theres really an e-scooter that can drift cuz u gotta accelerate into the turn
I’m from Canada and just bought a GX 2 for $1799 Canadian and I’m so excited and my wife is very upset!! lol 😂
That is awesome!
Welcome Gotrax to the big boys league with some dual motor offerings. Now there’s a scooter for every price point, everyone can own and ride and save the world incrementally. And have fun doing it
I love how sturdy they look!
excellent review, pass code is definitely cool but the functionality to input the code seems like it'd take too long every time
I’d definitely bypass it, myself. It can be disabled easily, but unfortunately park mode can’t be disabled as far as I can tell. -Paul

I just ordered the GX1 a few days ago and i cannot wait for it to arrive!
Awesome! Enjoy your new ride.
I'm an avid e-bike rider...look forward to getting almost as comfortable as you on an e-scooter! I was disappointed to hear from Gotrax that they discontinued their 3-wheel e-scooter. 🤨
Sorry about that!

i hope gx3 is this but with 1000W motors, big batterie, also a double suspension in the back and hydraulic brakes... it has everything to be as good if not better than the apollo phantom and much cheaper...
Full review should be coming!
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide their website has a image of a nutt hydraulic brake so.. i assume it will be full qaud adjustable suspension with hydraulic brakes and dual 1000 motors 11inch tires and reasonable range for the price and batterie it has... it can change the game honestly.... lets see...
Yes, quad adjustable suspension should be amazing! I cover some of the differences of the GX3 in the GX1/GX2 review coming out next week, but we hope to do a full GX3 review in the next few months too. -Paul
I feel like this is a big miss from Gotrax. The pricing puts them in competition with better scoots. Low power/battery and the range couldn't do one of our group rides fully in either of these two new scoots from gotrax. I'm interested in the real world stats you come up with. Great vid!
The gx1 was 999 and they bumped it to 1299 gtfo they def dropped the ball by increasing the price
Real world stats coming soon!
I’ve charted their performance/specs against every scooter we’ve tested. The GX1 and GX2 are slightly better than the trend line in every category, except weight vs speed and weight vs range. Other scooters do similar things at 5lbs less. -Paul
@RiderGuide this also shows how impressive the 29 pound etwow GTS is. 30mph with a single motor. Probably won't best these in acceleration but it has probably the highest top speed to weight ratio out there and it was only $1000
Glad you showed us these thanks for sharing. If they upped the performance to 40mph and added hydraulic brakes these would be nice for the money.
Great point!
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide 😎thx
Love the vid yall! Keep it up!
Appreciate it!!
These are mostly used for fleet rentals.
When are you doing a review on the GoTRAX GX3??? We can't wait!!!

That Ford minivan is vintage ASF
God, the moment I grab the Mantis V2, there are a host of new scooters on the horizon. Figures. x)
Great scooter. I’ll briefly compare these two with the Mantis V2 in the review this week. -Paul
Great review. Getting my GX1 today (Hopefully). What gloves do you reccomend? Motorcycle gloves do a good job with knuckles, etc, , but I assume scooter crashes may typically land on the palms ? Am I better off wearing gloves with hard wrist protectors?
Great pick! Enjoy your new scooter. Stay safe out there. Go to Amazon get some gloves that are not very warm as summer is almost here.
Looks like the Gotrax will be my next scooter. I can't decide between the GX2 or GX3. Do you have the GX3 on the way for one of your great reviews? I'm holding off on ordering until I watch your review. Great channel ! Keep up the great work !
We should be reviewing it in near future!
If the GX1 had the GX2's battery it would be a great value proposition at its preorder price of $999 or less.
Full review coming shortly! -Vosk
New subscriber here, love the channel new to scooters this year, and I got the GX one and my brakes make that hideous noise too, and I have made all the adjustments that they tell you to make with the cable and the calipers and I cannot get rid of that noise, please help!!!
Easiest suggestion is take to local bike store for a quick adjustment.
Thank you for your attention to detail in your tests and reviews!
Is it possible for you to review the Teverun brand? I am especially interested in the Fighter Supreme 7260R model, which appears to be their flagship at the moment. I want to buy a new high speed scooter and I was going for the King GTR, but this Teverun Fighter Supreme 7260R looks great on paper and I am curious to see how it will perform in your real world tests. The GTR is still my favourite because of the dual front fork and the fact that the Fighter Supreme appears to be not available anywhere.
Thank you in advance and keep up the great work!
We hope so in the future! -Vosk
Love your review, interesting and informative👍

Apollo City Pro is now the standard.
That’s an excellent scooter for sure!
Standard, indeed. It comes up in the GX1/GX2 review coming in about a week. It's like the Ninebot Max of the mid-priced dual motor scooters. -Paul
can you make a review for the GTX3 I don't see many videos about that electric scooter
We should be getting that scooter soon!
How does it handle going up or down a hill with a rider that's 200lbs. I'd lo e to see another review based on a real ride experience with the rider wearing a bookbag on a uneven sidewalk.
Great for hills! Full review is live on our channel
Great work !
Thank you! Cheers!
I love your videos!!! When the dualtron thunder 3?
No plans on that one currently!
I just purchased the Go Trax Raptor from Best Buy today for $999.99. I emailed the Go Trax company to confirm it’s the same as the GX1. They confirmed it is and just renamed it as they are selling through Best Buy. Every other place it appears it’s $1299.
Awesome , enjoy your new ride.
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Questiom. Got new scooter and it’s awesome but the suspension setting from the factory is stiff. Did you adjust it to give it more travel? Looks like it set super stiff springs fully compressed.
Long time M365 rider, this looks like a good upgrade, but I go to their website and it says "out of stock". Should I be suspicious of their support if I need a part or help if I buy one? With so many brands, it's hard to tell which will offer good support after the sale.
It will be in stock very shortly! -Vosk

Great video, I just bought one, the GX1 I see that it came with a 54.6 ramp charger, what faster charger do you recommend? Thx
We have not tried a fast charger on this!
These are cool! I will say, the ratio of brand name to surface area on scooters needs to come WAY down. I like discretion and lean design. If the owner knows the brand, that's enough. People will ask. It shouldn't be a billboard. It says the brand on the stem AND deck, which are only a couple feet apart, from a design perspective, it's poisoning the well.
Very insightful! Thanks for sharing. -Vosk
Still waiting on the GX3 review 😊
We are waiting for it to arrive also!
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide yay!
I wish come with solid tires, less worry flat tires
both are come out together ?
They both launch ones at the same time. They’re sold out right now but you can pre-order. More are coming soon. -Paul
Definitely reminds me of Apollo phantom
It does!
I really hope the Phantom gets hydraulic shocks. It would be amazing! -Paul
What should I do with my GX one that the brakes are very squeaky very loud. How do I fix it?
Take to a local bike shop! They can help you
Hi do you know where can I buy rear motor? Because there’s something wrong like it’s making noise and feels like vibrating
Contact Gotrax they should assist you!
Does the GX and GX2 come with lock speed?
Should be yes!
I live in hilly town . What one's good for hills
I’ll cover it in detail in the review, but it turns out both are equally good for hills. -Paul
Can you guys test the pro version of the flex?
We will try our best! Thank you
Keep in mind, when you need a new baterry for your GX, it'll cost $500.00.
You should not be having any battery issues for the first few hundred charges.
How can I make my gx1 go 30 miles? I just got mines Max speed is 15😢
Should be in the settings! Put on highest setting and speed mode.
Apollo city pro 2023 have more features and the same power.
That’s a great scooter for sure!
Yeah if your tires don’t go flat constantly like mine does. Went through 3 different sets of tires on it and they will go flat. It there’s rim design.
For $1800 currently on sale for 1650. The motors are 500 watts on the apollo. I do think the city pro has nice features, but that's more a premium brand like a lexus where's gotrax is like a Honda. Good value and reliable but not the same quality and creature scomforst. If you have the money get the apillo for sure though
@@adaptivetech8165Just keep your tires inflated. I've only got 2 flats on mine, and both were because the tire pressure was too low to keep it seated to the rim. One good shot of high pressure air and it's good as new.
I'll do a little comparison section between the City Pro and the GX1/GX2 in the upcoming full GX1/GX2 review. I rode the latest City Pro back to back with the GX2 while writing the review. -Paul
Very good balanced scooter but get ready to spend money on brakes
How many miles are you getting on a set? These scooters have no regen, if I remember correctly, so it makes sense they would use more brake pad. -Paul

Is there any way I could buy the gx1 without the dual motors?
I do not think so!

Nice looking e-scooters i never knew or seen them what's the IP rating on them? Is it 54?
Also that type of suspension reminds me of the mukuta 10.
Yes. IP54. -Paul
I just got a gx2 and now i want faster lol
That grey is pretty awful, IMO.
it is... black one looks cool tho... but again it probably lacks power, i mean mostly batterie i guess
If I had a choice of black or grey, I'd pick the grey. I remember in the '70s when SLRs went from silver to black. It was pretty cool. It was different. Then we got all black radios, all black TVs, black athletic shoes, black clothes, black cars, black gadgets of every kind, black bicycles, black scooters, BLACK EVERYTHING!!!
At least the grey is something different. Enough with the black already! 😊

These guys know how to build good stuff. Stout and functional. Just need better batteries...
K8 coming soon $1600
Niether are very good for the price point. Example - since this video focuses on quality vs price point, how bout reviewing like a metamoove zo08. 1300 bucks and it shames both of those and hangs with the ultra high ends. What your doing is promoting not the best value
It's a pretty nice looking scooter with decent specs. Gotrax is trustworthy enough and this looks like a good direction towards that

👀👀👀
very poor IP rating. I don't get why manufacturers don't prioritise better water protection it's not like these are meant to be used indoors, doesn't make any sense
I feel like ip54 is very reasonable for a scooter. you won't be riding it when its more then drizzling and it will be ok if you go through a puddle.
@@ezplays3321 IP54 is absolutely not reasonable, this is more of a serious scooter you would use for commuting but it doesn't have adequate protection. what if get caught in the rain all of a sudden, these scooters aren't toys and more and more people use them around the world.
I have aleready lost one due to water damage so it's really not acceptable to pay this much money for something that can break so easily
Up until recently IP54 was pretty good for a scooter. It’s also more likely that GOTRAX really certified it at IP54 than some others. -Paul
Good to see it’s not made in china 😂
👀
they're still made in china, just not designed there
Yes, still made in China, but designed in the US. -Paul
$1500 for scooter, I could not justify spending that amount of money
That’s reasonable for the specs actually!
I'm like a gottrax fanboy lol but I'm disappointed in the fact that they went with mechanical over hydraulic brakes.. I've had nothing but problems with mechanical disc brakes, constantly having to adjust them, always have to ride with the tools and pause my ride with buddies cause I gotta adjust them again. I just refuse to buy anything with that braking system. I'd rather see drum brakes with electronic braking.
Full review coming shortly!
What do you think is causing the need for adjustment? Are the cables slipping in the clamps? I definitely see brakes that need adjustment before the first ride and after the first 10 or 20 miles, but after that, they should be fairly stable, though not self adjusting like hydraulics.
The funny thing is, the braking results beat the vast majority of hydraulic brake scooters we’ve tested, but I think a lot of that has to do with the suspension of the GX1 and GX2 being excellent. -Paul
Biggest issue seems to be the adjustment screw for the pad closest to the motor or the inner pad... It just free spins so when applying pressure to the brakes it'll instantly back itself off so it's not making contact with the rotor.. I add loctite often and it helps for the first few miles but the heat from the motor turns the loctite into dust quickly and it doesn't do its job... Right now I just have a cheap no name Chinese scooter so I figured it was the scooters fault but I've seen many people have the same issue with the varla eagle one so I assume it's the brakes but if rider guide or esg is telling me it's not common for all mechanical brakes, than ill except its a my scooter issue, ill stick around for the full review, hoping it has a electronic braking that can help take stress off the machanical brakes. Like I said, I love gotrax, I think their fit and finish is high grade and these scooters seem to be priced right, I'm capable of swapping hydraulic brakes onto this but when you spend $1500 you just want to enjoy it, hopefully under a warranty. I'm hoping it's a "my scooter" issue and I'll take your word that all machanical brakes on scooters aren't absolute trash lol
Can you please share a review of the GoTrax GX3? 🛴💨⚡
Should be in Q1 of this quarter
Both sold out
They’ll be back in stock in a couple weeks. -Paul
