      Wolf King GT Pro.
      Your glowing reviews of this beast played a huge role in my decision to finally buy mine from Voromotors.

    I really enjoy the Kaabo Mantis 10 Pro Plus V2 2022 with the 60 volt at 24.5 amp LG battery . With Mini Motor Eye 3 display .I have 800 km (one month riding) so far and she rides great. No issue so far. Riding in mode 1 ( 21 - 24 kph) with dual motor I get over 75 km range. She is so stable in mode 2 and 3. Yes at 65 kph I think I could ride it with one hand. No wobble . Very solid scooter. very impress. Oh the Zoom hydraulic two finger brakes are awesome . For me as my forth scooter and being 64 years old at 77 kilos of weight ,the Kaabo Mantis 10 Pro plus V2 2022 is the best I have ridden.

    I've had my Apollo Ghost for about a year now, it's a toy for me, not a utility, so I've "only" done ~400 miles on it. It is AWESOME, but the grip tape issue is very real. I bought skateboard grip tape and added a few strips onto the deck after just a few miles. Glad to hear they're addressing the stem instability. It's not unsafe, but does require some getting used to at first. Brakes are great, I can second that, and I don't even have the hydrolic ones. Also, it needs a proper built in headlight.

    I use to own every go ped under the sun. Last engine I had was 5hp. These race scooters were hitting 40mph plus. I've raced motocross and super cross when I was in elementary school. I started riding 600 and 1000 super bikes since 2003.
    But to have a stand up scooter to go 40, 60 mph is insane. I'd love more information on tire compound and speed ratings

      Totally agreed lol. The physics of an 8-10inch tire going 60+mph is scary AF. My Mantis 10 Pro goes 41mph and I think I'm stupid for hitting that speed, as stable as it may feel, it just doesn't have the grip to maneuver at those speeds, let alone have the capacity to emergency brake. The electric ABS braking is a joke and gives a false sense of security.

    • @ssoffshore5111

      @@Director-M I'm kid of surprised the hyper scooters arent comig with larger wheel and tire diameters yet. I think it's only a matter of time before they wake up to the benefit of going that direction. If the WK GT was offered in a 11" and a 13" wheel size option, I know which one I'd choose!!!

      Even under 20mph I still feel like I'll flip if I don't squat and move my weight far back as possible when braking hard. I'd be happy with anything with a legit 50mile range at 20mph, mostly to avoid completely draining and killing the battery. Unfortunately most that fit my criteria seem to be extremely expensive, and/or way higher maintenance that they should be.

      Looking at the ww x so how good are the ABS brakes?

    • @MrWilliam.Stewart
      @MrWilliam.Stewart 2 роки тому

      @@carrickdubya4765 the regen brakes are good, quite powerful, I live way up the top of steep hill, and the regen cops a flogging with no issues yet, as for ABS, no, the wheels will easily lock with too brake lever pressure, but as a motorcyclist for many decades, it's no issue for me.

    • @rookiboi26
      @rookiboi26 2 роки тому

      Has it held up after a month?

    • @MrWilliam.Stewart
      @MrWilliam.Stewart 2 роки тому +1

      @@rookiboi26 No, it's held up after 6 months and 1,700 kilometers. As it's not made in Japan, by the likes of Honda or Yamaha, it will crap itself, that's just to be expected, like it's no Toyota, but so far it has performed without fault in rain, snow and sun being used 6 days a week. It's filthy, cause it's a work horse, I've done zero maintenance to it, I've absolutely sent the living Amps/current/coulombs per second out of the re gen brakes.
      The lights are good, the horn is crap, meep meep at a million decibels, the indicators are pathetic, because they simply flash the side lights, but the moment you apply the brake both sides flash, so it's an embarrassment to the manufacturer, but Kaabo have since fixed that.
      The standard tyres are cheap and wear out fast, the water protection from the wheel guards are made in China (Don't work) you will get wet, ride a propper design like a Segway and you'll stay dry.
      Costs more than it should, but, and just like Kim Kardashian, it's a big butt, has well designed motor speed controllers (The sinewave controllers, not the square wave mini motors ones)
      And last but not least, it's chassis can handle more power and speed, even going 85Kph down hill, the can't is still stable and tracks well.
      It does not have hydraulic suspension, despite what some unconfirmed video presenters might tell you, it has spring in the front and plenty of friction when new in the forks, e ABS? Err no, it'll lock up with ease if you want.
      Is it worth the $3,000 they sell them for here in Straya? Well it's too soon for me to answer that.
      It can however haul a fat can't up the steepest hills, and back down them with regen, handle with stability, overtake poor peeps in cages (cars) do a stoppie with ease, and provide plenty of smiles.
      Hope that at least answered part of your question.

      The Pegasus is such a pretty scooter and would be a winner for me if it wasn't so hugely heavy. The Dualtron Eagle Pro and the Kaabo Mantis Pro are both the same weight as the Pegasus, and they're entirely in a different speed and performance class, with far better speed, ride quality and range than the Pegasus.
      If the Pegasus lost 10 or so pounds it would be a great scooter.

One of my pins in the suspension also strip in the inside. the headlights is amazing!!! I love how the drivers complain because that means see me on the road.😂 Lock tight most screws .Over all it's a scooter you respect because of the power it haves. On the bottom those rbg lights tend to short out also. I am in love with the kaboo king.I see a few people with the king Gt and I'm afraid to jump on it. I know it’s not very well known but I just bought a Maxbik l9 dual 350w yesterday and it’s pretty impressive. I’m new to escooters and was looking to buy the Segway ninebot Max but they were sold out everywhere locally so I bought the L9 on an impulse. I am 5.6 150 lbs . Had zero issue zipping up 20% grade hills (rated for 35%) speed maxed at 38km/hr and I got 45kms of distance being in 2nd speed dual motor mode at almost full throttle mix of flats and hills.
    Weight: 40 lbs
    Cost: $999 (Amazon Canada)
    Wheels: rear solid, front pneumatic
    Brakes: front ebs, rear disc
    Light, flashing brake lights, Bluetooth, extra thick silicone floor board for shock absorbency. Like I said I have not tried any other scooter so I’m sure there’s better out there but I’m pretty impressed. I’m hooked, it’s insanely fun

    Ok, I am seriously on the fence, on which scooter to upgrade to next. I currently own a long range performance scooter. Is a Maike kk10s. It has good acceleration, and a top speed of 40/45 MPH. The only con it has, it weights more than my ex wife. At 105lbs, is a beast. I live in a walk up third floor apartment. So, is hard for me to ride this beast every day. I am looking for a lighter, high performance scooter. With good range. And it should also have excellent stability, and good shocks. That's another con my current scooter has, the damping on it is not the best. Any recommendations? My buget can be, anywhere from $2000/$3000.
