Maybe, but since many haters have enough money to buy a Tesla, including a Cybertruck, envy for something they can have if they choose may not be the reason.
@@snookmeister55 Actually there was 2 of them, abeam each other in front of the Tesla. They both rolled on themselves. They're probably a lot of stupid coal rollers out there, not just inexperienced.
I’ve had my Cybertruck for about a month. I’ve been surprised to see the middle fingers and thumbs down. For what reason? 95% of reactions have been positive but always a few haters that have nothing positive to share.
95% positive Cybertruck reactions? Then Hater opinion is irrelevant, meaningless, except to their own misery. Happy people don't act like that and their hate changes nothing.
Saw my first CT actually on the street here in Vancouver BC a few days ago. They arent being delivered in Canada yet, it had California plates on it. I'd only seen one in a showroom before that.
Could be worse. I've had a reservation since a few months after they opened reservations. But I may never be able to make use of it because I can't convince my wife. She hates it. And I got the reservation based on the prices they announced at launch.
I'm an old lady driving a Tesla MSLR and MX, got my VIN for my CyberTruck last week! When I face any type of hatred for Tesla, I tell them "honey, in my age where I'm just grouchy old woman who hates everything except my Teslas, CyberTruck, my cats and my dog!". I tell the same to my dear old husband when he starts going on about how his Jeep Gladiator is a better truck. BTW, that wrap is awesome!
When a vehicle has 2 million preorders and people still line up when the price has been doubled and a $20k premium slapped on top of that, the haters should realize that their opinions are completely irrelevant. They do not matter in the slightest. It's just a ploy to get some attention. Sad.
Great vid. As usual. I've not heard much, but my wife has made it clear that she'd better not go out to get into her 2020 F-150 and find it has been replaced with a Cyber Truck. Sigh. No worries there, as I stretched a little too far just buying Perl, my Model Y, last year, but it would be nice to get her a real truck (I guess different people have a different take on what is "real") were she game -- maybe after we get our solar farm going she'll be more amenable... :)
Tribalism at its finest display of proud public ignorance! Evs are cleaner, quieter, more sustainable, more powerful&cheaper tco. Also they mean better domestic energy security, ie $1 spent charging an ev has over .70c stay in the U.S. economy. $1 spent on gas or diesel though has over .60c go outside the U.S. econimy often paid directly to countries which in turn hate the U.S. 😀👍🏻
Was camping and thinking about long range towing. Instead of increase battery to car, why not add battery to trailer and a cord connecting to electric car to increase range?!
Saying to get a real truck in this case is like saying...use Win 3.1 instead of a modern operating system, LOL you cant please a toilet paper hoarder 😅
I hate the people who say it is not a truck because they have no good argument. Regardless of product you will always have haters no matter what the truth. 90% percent will like it and 10% will make a big noise to hate it.
@@Dularr I hear you but since most people with a half ton truck don’t tow not that big of an issue. I know when I towed from time to time with my truck never went beyond the distance version one cybertruck can tow. Most people who tow a lot seem to get a bigger truck.
What if the hate has nothing to do with vehicles? The more I think I know about human psychology, the more confident I am that it has little to do with cars, if anything at all. Peace. Out.
Hate is probably a bit strong. Disappointment at the missed opportunity is where most of the negativity comes from. Sure, some ICE truck owners will hate it because it's an EV, but that misses the point. The fact is that this was a huge miss step for Tesla, born out of Elon's irrational design decision to make it out of Stainless Steel. I think a lot of potential buyers could have been won around if it had been a similar shape, but with rounded corners and a proper paint job. However, Stainless Steel results in razor sharp edges and flat panels that are truly horrible. It's not practical to keep this looking nice unless you wrap it, and that's yet another increase in the cost of ownership. Elon was very clear about the mission "to speed the transition to renewable energy", and that's achieved by making things cheaper and easier to make. Where exactly does this fit into that mantra? It doesn't, does it. EV lovers who would really like a truck have been pointlessly alienated by this divisive, stupid design. It's such a shame, and a lost opportunity.
That wrap is just freakin’ amazing !!!!! ❤
Hate is the most genuine form of ENVY !
Maybe, but since many haters have enough money to buy a Tesla, including a Cybertruck, envy for something they can have if they choose may not be the reason.
Noticed that all other truck brands have huge badges, is that because they all look the same needing the big badges to tell the difference?
Exactly.
The last coal rolling video I saw was stationary at a light and the coal rolled back on the diesel, not the CT, LOL.
An experienced hater checks the wind before stationary coal rolling. That was a beginner.

I didn’t realise TesLatino had upgraded from a MY to a Cybertruck!? This is awesome dude!

You know some drivers are jackasses. Can’t come too soon that “people” aren’t permitted to drive, and put everyone at risk.
I absolutely hate that I don’t have a CyberTruck reservation! Just hate it!
That’s exactly what is going on.
I will sell you mine

I love that truck , it us all i have to say
Just ask them if anybody is holding a gun to their private part making them buy a *CyberTruck.*
Tell them to protest against *Ferrari* instead.
There's a recent video of one of a USA politician dummy talking about the EV mandate and other alternative realities. See Perry.

And funny - no one objected to 1990 Ford Astrovan with same front profile 😂

Ive seen many cars that I didnt like the look off. So I didnt buy them. I don't understand why people get triggered by EVs.

Love the truck. Only problem I have is I wish the front seats were more aesthetically pleasing. Like some of the other vehicles Tesla makes
They're very comfortable though.

Hate, typically come from ignorance.
And jealousy.
Nice looking.
Throwing up face is what I make when I see traditional trucks with their monstrosities of grills.

There are companies looking to do it. The biggest obstacle is cost, but the weight can also be problematic.
The next hater that says something offered to give them the truck. I bet you they’ll take it real fast.
