Amazing Hand Built RC Boats on the Lake

What a blast I had at the San Francisco Model Yacht Club. The amount of time and energy put into building these boats is impressive. All the members were super friendly and took the time to show me their boats. Established in 1898, is one of the oldest model boating clubs in the United States. Located at Spreckels Lake in Golden Gate Park, the club provides a dedicated space for enthusiasts of model yachting, including both sailing and power boats. Members build, race, and display a variety of model vessels, ranging from classic sailboats to modern, radio-controlled ships.
The club regularly hosts events, regattas, and exhibitions, drawing hobbyists and spectators.
