    This song always take me back to the Spring of 1978 when I was in the 8th grade and had not been to school in over two months because of all the shit going on in my life (no direction, no one to listen to me at home, no friends,) and watching my classmates past by my house with their Jr. Diplomas and there I was on the point of dropping out. By the grace of God, I was able to return to school and start the 9th grade, I graduated on time and now I have three degrees!! This song got me through!!

Freckels are also called ANGEL KISSES. It sucks lots of people think all IRISH are Drunks. Maybe they think that because most IRISH songs are about Drinking. Its not just IRISH & SCOTTISH born with Red Hair & Freckels. Our Family did a Ancestry to see how IRISH we were turns out OGRADY is only 40% IRISH. We thought it was more because Mom & Dad had IRISH names O'GRADY - KELLY. Sorry about all the IRISH. Im just crazy about my IRISH Heritage. Proud to an IRISH AMERICAN

    When I got my first cd player back somewhere between '89-'91, my first four cd's were: Michael Jackson - Dangerous, Stevie Nicks (Leather & Lace I think), Styx (some collection), & some Starship collection. I loved them all lol. Even though I didn't know too much about any of those albums. I had no idea who Stevie Nicks was. Styx I never heard of. Starship I knew some songs, & Michael Jackson's album...not sure if I even knew any of the songs on there. lol good times. My dad bought them. I'm betting at one time he was a music teacher or piano teacher. He is amazing. The song was right on the tip of my tongue but I just couldn't remember lol. My dad had to remind me. I was raised on this music and till the day I die I will love it.

    • @BillyAustin87
      @BillyAustin87 5 років тому

      The first part is beautiful. I'd it stayed that way,... you'd have a great soft rock sentimental song.; however, you'd nuts our on the Rockin post that comes later on! "The crescendo"
      Back in the 70's, a lot of classic rock bands/songs would build from a soft beginning, into a heavy Rockin tune! Ie,..
      "Madman across the water," "Dream Weaver," "Ramble On," "Take It On the Run!"
      Many ballads are that way!
      Enjoy!
