    Your roses are truly breath-taking! 😍I rescued some miniature roses for a loonie at Cdn. Tire about a month ago. Instinct told me to just do what you did with your roses, in order to revive them. I live in S. ONtario, and am thinking that I won't plant them outside until Spring. Thank-you for all the tips (coffee grounds and egg shells) on your channel about keeping these mini lovelies alive.

      Excellent you got a great deal. It’s great to see people not throwing them out and saving them. They will be beautiful in the spring!

    I appreciate your videos so much I bought 5, they were on special , and I did as u suggested I repotted and stripped 2 down cut back and all r doing well and the 2 I stripped and cut back have all New Growth. It hurt doing that but it saved them!! Long term is the goal after all 😊. Thank You so much

      Thank you so much. I go with products that are locally available that probably most people would have available to them. I also try not to over fertilize I like plants to naturalize to the soil and climate plus everything has gotten so expensive.

    I bought a few miniature roses the other day & have some questions...can I grow them in doors & still get blooms? How about my coffee table with no sun? Can I add miracle growth feeder to them now, I just replanted them, or should I have to wait a while first? How long? How often do I water them?

      Hi Sunny growing miniature roses inside is a real challenge they do not like homes with forced air. They are ok inside for a couple months but then you may start seeing brown leaves or loss of leaves requiring them to be cut back hard to rejuvenate them. They really aren’t meant as a house plant the best hung you can do for them is plant them in your garden and depending on how cold your climate is protect them in the winter. Miracle grow is a good general fertilizer and they will enjoy it but roses are acid loving plants so giving them coffee grounds crushed egg shells in the soil and if available rose fertilizer are key to health. If I purchase miniatures roses during the winter I will maintain them inside let them flower then cut them back pot them up with new soil with the coffee ground and crushed egg shells and then pms t them out as soon as all danger of frost is gone. Treat them like a regular rose plant in the garden which is where they really are their happiest.

      @@creatingmygarden hey thank you for replying back to me you are so knowledgeable! So I don't have any forced air but I do have the old radiators in my apartment & I live in NY. I have miniature roses in my garden for years more, they die out in the winter but come back again each year but this will be my first time trying them in doors. But they are soo beautiful I don't want them to die indoors...do they like a lot of Sun? Will I still get blooms in the winter indoors? I get a lot of heat in the winter in my apartment so temps are around 72-77F inside. It's now end of August & want to plant one of them outside, I bought 3. Will they still have enough time to root & establish themselves before the winter? Please tell me if the indoors would be a bad idea as I don't want them to die...I grow pothos & arrow heads in doors & they seem to do great all year long even though they're tropical plants but I know roses are a bit fussy....could I put miracle grow now after replanting or should I wait a few weeks? Thank you so much for teaching me your knowledge, your the best!

    I have the pink mini roses and is loaded with blooms; the problem is that in the center it gets infested with bugs. I use organic insecticidal soap too. What else would you recommend.

    • @creatingmygarden
      @creatingmygarden  Рік тому +1

      You could try neem oil on it at least that will adhere to the foliage more. The other thing I would try is thinning out the centre branches to let more air flow. If you thin it out you may get rid a lot of the eggs too. Give it a try let me know if it helps.

      @@creatingmygardenHi, ma'am ⛅🦋 Good morning, I brought my mini purple💜 and orange🧡 roses just have them today, I plan to plant it directly out there in the soil, do you have videos guide how many inches or feet away to another mini roses, so the bushes 🌱 not to cramped when they growing? Done subscribe to your channel🌹🦋

    • @creatingmygarden
      @creatingmygarden  Місяць тому +1

      @sparkflylight5787 I would recommend planting them about 1-1.5 feet apart to allow for air movement. Once planted water in well and give them some mulch to retain moisture if you in a cold climate colder then zone 5 you will want to protect them for winter with good layer of mulch cover well to get them through the winter. In the Spring cut them back to about 1-2 branches and give them a good feed of fertilizer. Roses like to be fed. You can also spread coffee grounds and crushed egg shells around them to give them the nutrients they need. Roses are acid loving plants so feeding once a month through summer then phase out the fertilizer in fall around end of sept or October don’t prune anymore so they can transition to winter. If you have rabbits or anything that come into your yard and in a cold climate cover them over with a tarp on top of the mulch for winter. Rabbits will eat them in winter if their desperate. I have a video on protecting roses for winter it for really cold zones like my zone 3 but you can use that video and custom the steps amount of mulch etc based on your zone. Lavender and orange roses are my favourite 👍

    Informative video. Are these good to plant directly outside now in August in MD or should it be in pots indoors and planted outside in the Spring? Also, will it survive over the winter and come back the following year if planted outside?

    • @creatingmygarden
      @creatingmygarden  Рік тому +1

      I am in zone 3B and I leave them outside in my flower bed year round our winter go down to -40c so I have to protect them for winter. I then uncover them in spring after all danger of frost. So yes u can plant them directly in your garden but they may need winter protection.

      @@creatingmygarden Ok. I think it'll be safe outside since we're at 7A and our temperatures don't go down too low. Thanks for the quick reply.
